3:00 The creators actually do set the prices, the Econ team only recommends the price, but the creator can set the price to be whatever they want as long as it is the minimum price or higher.
In the discord i saw they can only set the price so low before rr stops them?
@ So the way it works is each item type has a minimum price. That minimum price for the item type is the exact same for that type no matter what the item actually is.
So for example, let’s say the minimum price for a shoe is 800 tokens. If I make some leather boots, and someone else makes some metallic neon sneakers that glow in the dark, the minimum price for both is still 800.
The creator can choose to go higher than that, but no lower than the minimum. That’s the only part Rec Room has a say in.
