A very beautiful car. Truly speaking, hyundai has advanced and improved well in car designs and safety. Thanks for giving us a very vivid and detailed review.
Have just had my 2019 Elantra 3 mos & by far THIS was best tutorial run through...not even my sales guy covered it all...got maybe a 10 min lesson! Still very happy with purchase... interior/trunk space...drives smooth...convenient buttons...good gas mileage! Cheers from Canada 👍
so mad i saw this video after buying the SEL😂😂, the interior is a huge difference, even to just the headlights and being a push to start and the mirror
Would like to see if they would recess the headlights into the body of the car along with an accent Chrome ventilation Grille that just covers the space of the headlights in the middle get rid of the big grill all together and go more for a sporty look if you really want to sell
Mike, great presentation! I just bought me a 2019 Limited w/ less than 5000 miles under 20G The car dealership should throw you a couple of dollars for your great description of the Hyundai vehicle. I watched your video and an unnamed RUclips contributor . Both had similar great info. Love your video. Just have one ?, where or how do you mount the front license plate? I don't live in a state where you need dual/identical license plate in front or back. Rather not have to drill hole in the front grille. But, I have to represent my home state college basketball team. Go Orange...lol If you are not familiar how to do that or send a link, its all good. I can google. Great video bro :)
Thank you for your feedback. The front tag is mounted to a special bracket that comes with the car when new. Check in the trunk area where the spare tire is... it may be in there. If not then a dealer can get you one fairly cheap. www.hyundaipartsdeal.com/genuine/hyundai-moulding-frt-bpr-license-plate~86519-f2ab0.html?Make=Hyundai&Model=Elantra&Year=2019&Submodel=US+Alabama+made&Filter=()&Location=pd:8686511,86519M
The interior looks like a nice upgrade however the lower front turn signals and lower rear fascia lights are a big swing and miss by Hyundai. I realize they're competing with the new Civic/Mazda3/Corolla, but their designers went too far in the wrong direction. Sometimes subtle is better than overstating.
Aryeh Rosenthal Unfortunately, it is not standard. You would have to opt for the Ultimate Package to get the sunroof. The sunroof is also available standard on the Value Edition trim (For some odd reason).
Xenon Kyre I see limited trim level needs an ultimate package to have pre-collision warning and pedestrian detection, why is this not standard on every trim levels? So you are telling me that only top trim level plus ultimate package is the only way to get a feature that other competitors put in their vehicles as standard feature across the all the trim levels?
Orlino Jr. Llauderes Remote Start is available through Hyundai Blue Link app that you can get on IOS or Android. I believe with 2019 models and plus, you get a 3 year subscription for the app service included.
I think Hyundai went backwards on the design with this one. I think the peak for the Elantra was the 2011 MY. After that its been down for Hyundai as a whole in terms of design.
I own a 2017 Elantra. They have a 2.0 Atkinson cycle variant of the Nu engine. I would stay away. Mine, and according to many reports the dealer told me they get, is they make a loud ticking/tapping noise when cold. It sounds like a diesel. Dealer reported Hyundai said it was normal because the metal shrinks in cold weather. I have never ever had a car do this in cold weather and I have had my fair share of bombs. I bought it used so am only covered up to 60000 miles. I said to Hyundai ok if this is so normal cover my car to the full 10 year 100000 mile warranty. They just keep giving me the run around. I mean if there is no issue with the car it would not cost them anything to give the full powertrain warranty. I have no confidence in the longevity of this engine and unfortunately it looks like they are putting these in more models like the Kona. Also I think these engines are in the Kia Forte and other Kia models.
In here in Saudi Arabia i have one but not like this nice specs, The air-conditioner is different and its manuel ... and also the control on the driver aide .There no map and navigation on the screen its just music stuff .There is not save seats .. the speedometer hasn't enough information just oil and petrol level .. there's not cooling system on seats .. there's nothing on the small miror expect light insulator ...Starting the car is not by the button, but by the traditional key method ..and the price is bad and little expensive when you see the Specifications... I hope i didn't see this video 😂 because im gonna cry now.. why we didn't have like this💔
Don’t like at all. wishing they stayed with the same style as 2017 and they need to add features like the 2017 Optima you reviewed and I would totally pick this car.
why the fuck am i driving chevy. after my 3yr/36k miles bumper to bumper ran out, i had so many fucking problems with my car. good on hyundai for offering 5yr/60k bumper to bumper
Every time I see one of these on the road I don't like it I like the 2018 and the 2017 model they should have stayed this design for the accent new look it just doesn't look right on this car
I blame car reviewers for making the front end of the car ugly. They always say it doesn't stand out and it looks bland, so Hyundai listened to them and in efforts of trying to make it stand out it turned out ugly
A very beautiful car. Truly speaking, hyundai has advanced and improved well in car designs and safety. Thanks for giving us a very vivid and detailed review.
at first i wasn’t a huge fan of the new front design but it’s really growing on me tbh
I’m a fan of the grille
Same!!!
that mickey mouse hand is my favorite part of this channel LOL
Imgaine seeing this guy in person with the camera pointing at a car with a hand stick xD

Your review was very useful and detailed. I bought a 2020 limited yesterday. I learned a lot by viewing your video.
got mine Saturday!
More comprehensive than most reviews, thank you for all of the details, good job.
One off the best car reviews I have seen thank you.
your first shoot blow my mind and win my heart..
So i subscribed ♥️♥️♥️
Great review my man. Thanks for going through all the features
Great review, I can tell you take the time to give us a quality video. Definitely subscribing.
I got my car switched and It a beautiful car with great speaker so don’t need todo anything
so mad i saw this video after buying the SEL😂😂, the interior is a huge difference, even to just the headlights and being a push to start and the mirror
Not crazy about the front design, rear is fine and so is interior! I always did like a good rear end!
😏
I'm still curious to see how the Sport is gonna look (to go with this new triangular look)
Very nice and detailed review.
On the limited trim level, does the mirrors fold in automatically when you turn the car off and fold out when you start the car?
Aryeh Rosenthal Unfortunately no. No Elantra trim includes that feature. Typically, you don’t find Power Folding Mirrors on compact sedans.
Gonna stick with the 2018 model otherwise, great video Mike!
Great review, very detailed, well done
The rear is good looking, just wish the rear blinkers were LEDs. The front on the other hand... just no. Go back to the drawing board.
The new front reminds me of Lexus some how. A design that I never liked with all that zigzag shape.
I feel like the designer just discovered triangles and wanted to add them everywhere in the front end.
Whats that Mickey mouse hand 😂
Loved the Micky mouse hand!!!
Would like to see if they would recess the headlights into the body of the car along with an accent Chrome ventilation Grille that just covers the space of the headlights in the middle get rid of the big grill all together and go more for a sporty look if you really want to sell
toooooo good description. could you do this for elantra 2020 ultimate

Does the limited ultimate trim level come standard with a sunroof?
Aryeh Rosenthal Unfortunately, it is not standard. You would have to opt for the Ultimate Package to get the sunroof. The sunroof is also available standard on the Value Edition trim (For some odd reason).

is this exactly the same as the 2020?!
The front end refresh wasnt necessary . The previous look was just fine. I hope they dont bring it to the Elantra sport🤮
You know the answer lol
Lmao im sorry dude
Agree .
Do you like the placement of the rear turn signals?
I would have loved to see dedicated fog lamps
Could you review a Veloster Turbo and a Base trim Veloster? Thank you
no remote start?

Great video Mike.. what about new HYUNDAI AZERA 2018 can you do a review
Ziad Tariq they discontinued Hyundai Azera for US market
It got rear AC vents?
I think Hyundai went backwards on the design with this one. I think the peak for the Elantra was the 2011 MY. After that its been down for Hyundai as a whole in terms of design.
I would say the 2017 and 18 was the peak. There was something about the 2011 look that just didn't mix with me.
But the 2011 was better than this gen, I will give you that
Hard plastic on the window sill, a place where one often rests their arm or elbow. The new styling isn't that awful.
I like the refresh, but I don’t like how they took away the heated rear seats for the Ultimate Package... 👎
That little yellow ✋😂
Those headlights are just no :|
Barok N. Why?
For real, look how pointy it is! It looks weird!
Same thing I thought man.. the previous model's look better
I love it
The automatic trunk makes no sense. If you have to lift it manually anyways what's the point?
I agree. It should swing all the way up.
I like Hyundai just can't stand the fact if they charge for safety features wish they would take a note from Toyota when it comes to that area
Very similar to my 2015 Sonata. Just buy one of those used for about $10k with low mileage.
Seems more aggressive and aerodynamic for 2019.
Dude I can't stop slam dancing to that music, it's sick as fuck bro!!!
Great video
Can we see ford taurus sho 2019
Please and thanks
mike would not do this ... you can take look other youtube ford shot 2019.. common sense brain man!
Salam Alaikoum possible preview of the Toyota Avalon Limited 2019 and thank my friend Maak Badia from Algeria 🙌.

Is the Nissan Maxima Platinum still going strong for 2019?

وكيلنا أطلق يجيبها تكيف خلفي ههههههههههههههههههههه 😂😂

The front looks like toothless from how to train your dragon.
Omg 2019 and 2020 like duplicate? What is the difference of 2019 to 2020 ultimate
Very nice review, it is on my list, but 27k for the top of the line yikes. 😦 hum???
Why Hyundai? I was ready to buy until I saw it in person. Why did you have to make it look like a Ford Focus?
doug rabbit you mean to say like the older Ford Focus lol
This doesn’t look bad in person tbh.
Geo Jose um yes it does you must be blind lol
Its so... triangular 😂
why the fuck am i driving chevy. after my 3yr/36k miles bumper to bumper ran out, i had so many fucking problems with my car. good on hyundai for offering 5yr/60k bumper to bumper
Looks like the Prius from GTA
Oh gawd that front 😖
Every time I see one of these on the road I don't like it I like the 2018 and the 2017 model they should have stayed this design for the accent new look it just doesn't look right on this car
This new design language doesnt impress
I blame car reviewers for making the front end of the car ugly. They always say it doesn't stand out and it looks bland, so Hyundai listened to them and in efforts of trying to make it stand out it turned out ugly
Kinda look like a Audi
Nasir Thompson no the 17/18 model was the Audi design not this
I’m happy I bought the 18 design this shit is hideous. I see them around and I laugh 😂
old design and pretty ugly..... look at the new mazda 3. do something hyundai....
Comparing this to the Mazda 3, this car looks so cheap :(
