You should definitely get a facial spin brush, It will change your life lol! You realize how much your hands can't get and it minimizes pores and gets deep down in there. Exfoliating once or twice a week, a great serum and most important toning with ACV/distilled (or spring) water it helps with dark spot and pimples. Your face looks amazing tho!

Dakotah Perkins try accutane, it works from within. A peel is just topical. I used to have had acne on my face, back and chest and textured skin. It cleared it all up.
Too bad, at 18 I can understand how you may be feeling but why not start using the natural routine like turmeric, soda, carrots and all those ones? With increase water and fluid intake, you gonna glow soon!
I cleared my acne using vitamin d and magnesium.

Go to the site and read about each to choose what is best. Best EVER! Also, look into AZTEC BENTONITE CLAY POWDER. Good luck my dear. I know it can be tough at that age as I had issues on both my face and back and ever since have been caring for my skin. Now I’m almost 50 and sometimes STILL GET ZITS! Make sure you never combine salicycic acids and Retinols at the same time.
I used exposed skin care. They also have products for acne on back and chest. I put some on my arms too bcuz I used to get kp there. It might break u out at first but that just means that it’s pushing out impurities. I have eczema and I don’t eat peanuts anymore. Plus I’m vegan and gluten free. My diet helped me a lot. Also use prebiotics and probiotics (use both together) for your gut Health. This company called “seed” has some that I want to try. Please research what foods make your acne worse. Also “stacked skin care” has amazing skin peels for hyper-pigmentation. I’m 33 and since my teens this is the first my skin has been acne free.

Do ppl peel it off more than they should? I'm a redhead and had numerous sunburns as a kid and I cannot stand peeling skin. I would peel it off if I had this done with no self control.

I have been thinking about getting a chemical peel to help with my acne scars, and even my skin tone....but DANG I'm gonna CLEARLY have to take AT LEAST 2 weeks off work, cause I ain't trying to scare nobody...I work in a corporate job, and they would be looking at me like I had a disease...trying to figure out where I need to go and how fast to get me there. nailwitch87 just use baking soda finely ground coffee mixed into a scrub. Much cheaper and extremely effective ! Mix together with a cleanser to clean and then do a second round with a rosehip oil or grapeseed oil rinse with cool water, apply a toner. Then use a little more oil and rub your skin with an ice cube to seal it up 🖤
Small Embers Do not use baking soda on your skin! It's acidic and you even up hurting your skin long term!
Zaire Husband Baking soda is a base, not an acid. It has a ph over 7.
G Nickson actually there's a huge debate on that because it can become acidic when combined with other ingredients. (chemistry.stackexchange.com/questions/72775/can-sodium-bicarbonate-be-considered-an-acid) It's also a 9 (not sure where you got 7) on the scale while your skin is a 5.5! Please don't use it on your face. :>

What I love about you showing this process is how it brought your skin back to it's original complexion (or the complexion it should be). As I look at your ears in the beginning shots, before the peel process they were much lighter than the rest of your fact. After the process, your face, neck and ears were all the same color. Great job. You look amazing.
I did the VI Peel a week and a half ago and I'm so happy I did it. After so many other peels, this one is the best. In a bit more than 8 weeks it will show the final results. I'm so glad even a week and a half after it!!!

I was just about to go for a derma peel before I saw this. My dermatologist has not really explained to me what the whole process entails, but now I feel more ready to ask questions and seek clarifications.Whereas I'd thought it would take 1 hour I realize it's ping to take days.

There was no pain just an annoying itchy feeling but that goes away once you put the anti itch cream on

Night Angel Don't worry, no one really cares from my experience lol. Now I work with kids though so they're a little put off by it but once I explain it to them they don't care anymore lmao... same with my peers or coworkers, I'll just tell them I had a peel so ignore my skin looking like it's falling off haha.
Night Angel Also the only pain is the initial peel being applied. It burns for like a minute or two and then that's it. The process after the treatment is like above said, more annoying than anything else.

I did a series of three peels and had the same wonderful results. I know the peeling is a pain, but worth it. This is my favourite peel ever. The inflammation issue has definitely decreased. You look great! P.S. I used cuticle scissors to trim back the very long pieces of skin. It really helps.

Te & Co. I go to a plastic surgeon who also specializes in skincare. A dermatologist should be able to do it as well. These VI Peels are pricey, but they will give you a brand new start.

aunaturalegeezy me too but my skin is so sensitive like one time I used a moisturizer and my skin was on FIRE! I had hyperpigmentation around my mouth for weeks, saw a dermatologist and got medication that also made it burn but helped. I learned that I can't put a lot of things on my skin literally just water and a very mild lotion in my dry areas. Skin still needs some rejuvenation but I'm scared
look into the brand avene!! Great for extremely sensitive skin

Avene and La Roche posay are the best for hyper sensitive skin but I prefer la roche posay
The Chemical peel they used on her was a blend of three Actives Retin-A, Salicylic Acid (a BHA Exfoliate) and Vitamin C. You could also try using Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) Exfoliating Products; make sure the PH of the product is low enough for it to be effective (about 3-4). All four actives can be purchase over counter, except Retin-A at higher concentrations. Make sure to always use sun block when using any actives.

I've been getting monthly peels on and off for about 2 years now and honestly, from my experience no one really cares lol. For me the main concern about going outside is the sun not other people lol

I'm about to have it done again in the next month and just looked around to see if there were vids. Yours was GREAT and you really showed us the process! I just had tons of laser zaps on my face on my enlarged pores today - eeeeek. I look like I have chicken pocks! They are called sebaceous hyperplasia. Also, because I have been in sales for so many years, I drive a lot and the left side of my face has darker spots on the left side of my face because of sun exposure when driving. you're so welcome! moisten the skin with just water first for a minute or two and it should get easier from there. Also, you can apply the anti itch cream as often as you need it throughout the day & spf!

Thank you for your honest take on these widely-popular treatment. Great before and after, but I’m not sold yet that chemical peels are for everyone (especially if you have very sensitive skin). If you find a good facial scrub for exfoliating, a cleanser, a toner like witch hazel and a moisturizing face bar soap like olay or dove (with the occasion gel or clay mask), you can save hundreds and have awesome looking- and feeling skin 🤟🏾peace & love from Minnesota

I do one of these peels every 3 months at my dermatologist office ($180) for about 4 years. Sunscreen after is key! You can use a wash cloth to get at the peeling skin after day 3, fyi. My skin is nearly perfect. Glad you showed the full process. As women of color we hyper pigment so easily, this process really makes a difference. I'm 41 and look 10 years younger. Keep up with them, you look great.
Thank you for showing how you wash your face! Most videos just show the peeling which I'm like duh that's obviously going to happen but nothing about how they go about it. Some even pick the skin off which then gets me screaming. I also appreciate the comments others have made. Now I feel more ready for my own chemical peel in a few weeks.

they do micro peels. it reduces the likelihood of chemical burns and they don't have to miss work. but keep in mind they have enough money to get their faces treated weekly. several black TV personalities go to my dermatologist and she explained this to me. shout out to Dr. Jeanine Downie!!!!
I was scheduled for a VI Peel a few days ago, but cancelled and substituted a regular facial. I am not a wimp, but not sure I want to go thru the burning, staying inside for almost a week, etc. Still deciding, so thought I would watch some You Tube videos on the process. Your peel had great results. I loved the way you described things; I felt like I could actually feel it! I am now a subscriber!
