Yeah, Serio's game really is something special. There's been significant updates since I threw this video up years ago, although active development has ceased and the game is open source last I heard. It's still worthwhile to download and take a look.
It's that kind of epic battle that I immagine Simon had against Dracula. I mean, Simon fought Dracula alone at nearly full power, it must have been one hell of a battle.
This is exactly How I imagined that battle went Just like this. Difference is He left almost dead broken too be exact. Blood running down his face and his arm Broken nearly shatterd.
Best Castlevania Fighter video Ever!! And the best part is when Simon's Theme plays at the 3rd Phase of Dracula. Glad that you chose the Arcade version of the Track
The music in this video is custom (that's what the annotation at the beginning says). You don't hear Theme of Simon when you fight Dracula in-game... although Theme of Simon IS used as Simon's theme for versus mode and when you fight Simon in survival. :/
god damn at first it was like they both were testing each other out... then shit got REAL as the fight dragged on. Towards the end it was an all out brawl to the fucking death... what a sweet display of 2d action!
@MightyKombat Not completely sure on the details, but I'm fairly confident Olrox will finally have his second form, Blackmore will be in, and there'll be a couple other bosses alongside a handful of extra playable characters. :S
@MightyKombat Trevor is a fair bit off. As he is from the Metroidvanias, he'd be a Simon sprite swap, and since no one's taken up translating his CoD gameplay to 2D... >_> As for 1.0, maybe when the final build is released. The release candidates have been extremely RAM intensive from what Serio has said, taking up to 2 gigs of RAM because of the increased .WAV sound quality. :x

hey, if you're still alive, I was doing coop castlevania fighters against Easy difficulty, and I was wondering if you know how to counter Dracula's Demonic Megiddo EDIT: Also, is there a way to choose a specific boss to fight?
Dracula's normal Demonic Megiddo is a charge-move where he drops everything he's doing to charge up the blast. You'll notice his MP bar drains completely when he begins this move and that's your visual timer for how long he'll take to blow you up. To interrupt it you basically attack him until he stops and decides to do something else. Click on the below hyperlink to figure how to fight specific bosses. Oh, I think I might of screwed up. I assigned 2nd player start button to Rightshift, which is the pause button EDIT: Nvm, rightshift doesn't seem to work no matter what EDIT 2: Seems my only option is to use the on-screen keyboard EDIT 3: Nvm, I found out I can pause with fn + shift
How do you change Chronicles Simon to CV4 or NES Simon? I keep pressing the button I assigned start to at the character selection screen, but I never see any changes.
So the Super Castlevania 4 Dracula Music replaces everything else eh? hmmm...ok ill go with that. and yes, Shanoa should be an available character in the next Beta.

OH. He does a big, fiery body charge that deals a significant chunk of damage if you don't interrupt him. I haven't touched the game in ages, but I think you can super jump after a double jump to dodge it if you're quick (the fiery body charge has partial vertical tracking). Most people do not want to get hit by that thing.
+Mega IsaiahX Serio's Castlevania, it is a Boss rush type of game running on the MUGEN fighting game engine. It's pretty impressive that the creator used a fighting game engine to reproduce the control and movement patterns of dozens of Castlevania characters very accurately. Alucard plays pretty much like he'ds play in SOTN, same with Richter who retains most of his input moves intact and Item crashes. Look it up, it's not an adventure type castlevania with levels and such, but you rush a great variety of bosses.
Is better than the supercastlevania's fight. But, the same error, Simon song in the last fight. Simon song is not bad, but i don't think that is a good song in the last fight
That dracula is epic, but is way too broken due to his ultra mega speed. Nerf his attack speed. The game is not designed for you to be evading every 2 seconds.
@KtheShooter Neither of those tracks are very good. The percussion kills Black Night because of how bad the THUMP THUMP THUMP is, and Harmony of Despair has a (more or less) godawful selection of sub-par remixes. I'd rather use the 8-bit versions. :/
