    Im from California but i live in Southwest, Idaho! Also, for fun!! Halekulani means the house of heaven!! Hale means house in general - and it is used a lot!! My dad had a sign made that hung at the end of our driveway that said in big letters - Hale o Kalua aka the house of kalua - numbers were not required!

      Thank you for sharing all those details!!! I think we'll be using the translation you shared with us in our Halekulani posts and videos. We've only been through Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, but I imagine the whole state is gorgeous. That's cool that numbers weren't needed. Cheers!
