Hi. Like you, I just love to hear Beth and Joe, singly is good but together, they just explode with great riffs and amazing vocals. This is one of my favourite songs. I am in no doubt that, whilst their performances seem to just come naturally to our ears, their respective skills have involved thousands of hours of practice and dedication in order to become the exciting and beloved performers that they are today. Thank you for your review on this. Jeff 👏🏻
Awesome! Blues at its best. That kind of talent is special. Including the band. Ms. Hart and Mr. Bonamassa really compliment each other well. Enjoyed this and your reaction. Thanks!
I love watching you both discover some of the awesome music I grew up with. I've been a Blues music fan since the early 1980's and discovered Joe Bonamassa about 15 years ago. I've seen your reaction videos several times online lately and enjoyed watching the reaction to your first Joe Bonamassa song (I gave up everything for you 'cept the blues) so much that I subscribed to your channel today. Both of you seem to really like blues music, I can see your faces light up when you hear it.
As usual, great guitar and great band and superlative Beth who always excites with her voice and temperament. One never tires of seeing her , her voice is truly the best you can hear these days. She is truly a complete musician and her contact with the audience is exceptional.Love from Italy.Roma.
Great comments concerning Beth’s pronounciation and movement. She never stops moving during a performance (even during solos) and continually channels and physically becomes the music. For lyrics in general (and particularly for her own songs) she modifies pronounciation, cuts short vowels, and gives meaning to each and every syllable in a word. Her attention to detail is mind-blowing but it is because she is sings lyrics like one plays notes on a guitar or piano-the words are converted into music itself.
Yes, the King and Queen of Modern Blues! Now, checkout Beth on her Own with "Am I the One".....There is another Up and Coming Female Blues singer that will blow you away, Mahalia Barnes (Jimmy Barnes` Daughter") She did a song with Joe that is insane: "Riding With The Kings", guys you gotta check it out!
I was so happy to see that you guys did a reaction to this performance. Beth and Joe are so amazing, there needs to be bigger adjectives to describe them. Since I lack the ability to accurately articulate how incredible they are together, I'll just say that I love and adore both, and I hope to one day be sitting in a crowd watching them live. Can you imagine how you would have felt sitting in the crowd, watching this performance?
The suit started because his manager way back when told him everyone was wearing jeans and a t-shirt and he needed to do something different to stand out and suggested the suit because no one was doing that. He only wears Armani. Joe tried it out and kept it as his signature ever since. The sunglasses are because he is light sensitive and his eyes tear up when the spotlight is on him. I heard him talk about that on a podcast. If your a fan you probably already know that, I was just throwing that out there. 🙂
Also, he looked at the other great blues players and they always dressed for performance even if they only had one suit. Kevin Shirley is actually the one who called up Joe and told him the dirty jeans and shirts made him look like a "slob" at least that's what Joe has said.
Joe Bonamassa - Spoonful live at red rocks ... Joe's solo in that song , He holds 1 note for ages without touching the guitar and its soo smooth the way he does it using the feedback.
You should check you "Caught out in the Rain," "Fire on the Floor," "No Place Like Home," and "Bad Woman Blues." Some of her best ones. Though.....as far as I'm concerned....she has no bad ones.
@@orlock20 yeah....everyone has a couple they regret. sometimes, it's their most recognizable hits. example: Bobby McFerrin's "Don't Worry, Be Happy." World loves it. He hates that THAT is the song most people know him for when there is so much better stuff he has done. fortunately none of the ones i listed are on that list. She has incredible lives of all of those.
@@orlock20 I think it's fine, but I'll admit I don't quite get all the lyrics--the vocals are great though. She performs only a fraction of album songs in concert--they have to translate well to the live setting. You know better than most that there are no bad BH songs....except maybe about half of what's on 'BH & The Ocean of Souls'--that, she does hate.
Just wait until you hear "Stone Cold" by Australian legendary singer Jimmy Barnes collaborating with Joe B. The talent in "that" room is off the charts as well.
That guitar Joe is playing is worth about as much as my house. If you want to see him really get playing watch angle of mercy from the Greek theater. Silly good.
Too short?...looks like you’re going to have to pick up the pace for Beth reactions. Even though they are a unique collaboration, each is phenomenal on their own. That is not correct and there is no shortage of information about this--Beth always tells you what's what with her. She has rarely ever performed under the influence even during the worst period of her addictions (1999-2000). Her drug (mostly Klonopin) and alcohol abuse was generally periodic (i.e., she would disappear for a week). Two GIANT BLUES ARTISTS! 😎🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
awesome, cool.....
You guys are hooked on Joe …..so am I !! There’s no one that comes close to
This is the song I want to hear when I go to sleep (right before Joe blasts away on a crazy solo) 😂 Thanks for the reaction, I enjoyed it.
Classic….blues/rock. Beth’s singing…..joes guitar. The entire band. This is genuine talent. Live no auto tune. Skill
Voice of an angel and the devil on the guitar!! These two are pure magic!!!!
Hmmm…I think her voice is much too sensual to be described as angelic. 😉. One of the most sensual voices I’ve ever heard actually. Fantastic.
Had the privilege of seeing them play together live in small gig at Hampton Court palace a few years ago - one of the best

Have you listened to Caught out in the rain ? You should.
The way you two appreciate great music is special. And then, being disappointed that the jam is over is quite genuine. Kudos to you both!
Have you heard his performance of Going Down…live from the Greek Theater in LA? OUTSTANDING!
Beth is amazing, and had to fight her demons to get there. She knows deeply of what she sings.
You have to react to Beth Hart "Caught Out In The Rain" Live At Royal Albert Hall 2018.
Great reaction again 😊 you should react to Beth and Joe doing the song Close to my fire, very sensual.
This is one of my favorites too. Together, they are pure magic! 🥰

To the Joe B haters: Don't hate him for the suit, the sunglasses, or the stage persona. Hate him for his ridiculous guitar and amp collection. 😎😎
