This is a review of flight MK646 from Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) to Kuala Lumpur international Airport (KUL). The flight was operated by a 20 year old Airbus A340-300. The Economy Class seats adopt a 2-4-2 configuration.

Lovely trip report. The interior of this A340 makes me feel like we are flying in the 90s and early 2000s, but still, it's a decent flight 😄

Great video! I like the window-view with 2 engines on the wing! The IFE looks very funny, first time what I see this small screen (I think is comparable with overhead screens on A220).. and the remote control with this cable looks like the handset from a phone booth.. But on the other hand, these older seats look much more comfortable than the new slim seats on the new planes :-) Good job!

Thank you! The screen was so small that it was barely larger than that on the iPhone 7. The seat was comfortable indeed though.

Who ever would have thought of Air Mauritius on this route! These fifth freedom flights do offer some unique opportunities to fly with airlines that you wouldn`t otherwise get to experience in the region. Despite their age I have fond memories of the A340. Thanks for sharing Windowseatguy.

yes! we probably don't fly a340-300 for much longer given most of the operators have retired this type. thank you very much for watching and for your support
