They played this live. Archive ticket for Spin off show may still be available if you want to listen to the live version. And, it was the BEST live version.
You must be more sophisticated than I am. I couldn’t follow this at all at first. I actually commented long ago how I didn’t like the chorus!? 😮 After experiencing more of what the Maids do, it’s as if their compositions will teach you what a good song is. Here we have a halftime verse, a long, driving prechorus, and finally the soaring chorus. Love the drums here. Love Saiki’s melodies. Love the balance and how every individual instrument contributes to the whole. Band Maid could be the greatest progressive, classically influenced rock band to have so many pop-able songs. They make complexity fun.
My ears hear the guitar tones more harsh than usual but Saiki's vocals are softer than usual... On YT is a video of Kanami playing the chorus melody on piano, worth a listen. Thanks for the reaction!
If you want to see one of the best and longest Queen Kanami solo check " Unfair game" from the same "Yolo" album! You'll be glad you did it! Thanks for your reaction.
In Japan, there is a saying that eat until you're 80 percent full. It's a teaching that in order for you to eat deliciously, let's not be full, but 20 percent of your stomach empty. It means that you want to eat again because you are a little unsatisfactory.
If there's a live version, I think it would be a fan cam. I haven't seen anything official. Yet. This is one of my favorites because there's so much going on there's always something new to listen to and never gets old.
On Band Maid Prime. From the 2017 Akasaka Blitz concert. And probably on one of the covid livestreams. Also in the just released PPV stream of the follow up 10th Anniversary concert.
Miku & Saiki's red & blue roses represent their character traits from Yōkai Oni. Supernatural entities & spirits from Japanese folklore. Just in case you were interested :)
This is technically their oldest song. Kanami wrote the original version before she was in Band-Maid. There isn't a decent live version released (on YT).
that's the one thing about THE MAIDS that i would wish for - longer kanami solos. not complaining mind you - she's just such a great guitarist you always want more. so i go to LOVEBITES for epic lengthy shreddathons. if their solos weren't so tasty and melodic you might think that midori and miyako overdo it. but they are both just so tight you could listen to them all day. if you have not heard them you owe it to yourself to check them out - best metal band on planet earth for 7 years now.. here's the live of 'holy war' - they will shock you with their guitar prowess - 2 lead guitarists that should be registered as lethal weapons. : ruclips.net/video/bgAxpEpEcno/видео.html
The true meaning for Kobato Miku in the song Yolo is explained in this video ruclips.net/video/sSNA_CZoIqs/видео.htmlsi=IWNrUxGRUnWz8aRy&t=681 (it's in Spanish but the subtitles are fair enough to understand, the names sometimes are misspelled)
I had so far given Band Maid a pass because the gimmicky outfits put me off. This is the first time l've actually heard them play. Still don't care for the outfits but they're a damn good band.

Classic BAND-MAID is still my favorite BAND-MAID. But just by a smidge. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Peace. 31.1
Mine too.🙋♂️
Miku was even a bonus character in the game as well
What game?

Yes, you are right- there is a lot of top end on this recording. Akane's Snare sounds like a Tom, when it is usually as tight as hell and rings out.

Glad you gave them a chance! Maybe their latest outfits will be less objectionable. Less maids, more steam punk.
@DAVID-io9nj That l could handle. Ever read any steam punk sci-fi?
@@paulhood5950 Some. Most were steam punk fantasy featuring magic. Most memorable was Aeronaut's Windlass by Jim Butcher.
Hey it's never too late. Many of us had been there. But their music is one of a kind.
If you are not willing to use headphones you should be more cautious when talking about production.🙂
