Formidabile Ivan se non sbaglio vanta anche un 8e96m, fatto al Sestriere, non omologato come record mondiale non ricordo se per il troppo vento o per l' altura, purtroppo è stato un po' sfortunato con la riga della battuta, alcuni salti nulli di poco hanno superato anche i 9 metri e togliendo anche i pochi centimetri della battuta, avrebbe comunque fatto di più rispetto al Record del mondo di 8e95m, fantastica la tecnica in allungamento in aria durante il salto a mio avviso la migliore di sempre che abbia mai visto, anche l' atterraggio molto agile e tecnico con ultimo allungamento della gamba sinistra a cercare ancora più distanza, peccato per gli errori alla battuta, credo sia l' atleta che abbia superato gli 8e50m più volte di tutti, con una facilità disarmante veramente notevole.
He was a great long jumper and he is a great triple jump trainer, but I don't think he was also the GOAT. The best LJer ever was Lewis, as anyone can see considering his jumps in Tokyo 1991, no matter if he lost that time! However, after Lewis, Pedroso rules!

If he didn't foul out at the biggest jumps he would be for sure the greatest long jumper in history. But he did, and that's why consistency matters.
