Idk i find that real friendships like outside of a group will always survive they just evolve into something different. Ive had my fair share of other friends but you come to notice as you grow older the real connections stay even though you may not be as frequently connected with that person, knowing you can always still reconnect like no time has past is priceless. Ive been in a lot of different friend groups but have had 3 solid people in my life who are always there and who I know will be even though we don't hang out like we used to
JJ speaking facts but it’s not a bad thing. Folks always said “once you graduate your friend groups will change. You’ll only be close with maybe a quarter of the people you once were.” And that’s real. Once you no longer see people on a daily at school and y’all grow into the daily life’s y’all eventually have you don’t have time for every person you grew up with. I talk to most of my high school friends and some of them I talk to once a month to check in on. The rest I don’t talk to at all. Folks move, folks go to different colleges folks find Jesus and join a cult or whatever things happen. Ain’t nun wrong with that. School is only a quarter of your life. You’ll make new friends and family lose some and make even more
I’ll prolly both agree and disagree because it is indeed special to have the same friend group you grew up fondly with. But it is as bad to have the same friend group because you guys may slow each other’s progress and growth for staying in the same bubble.
JJ was speaking facts here. Especially with Spencer and Asher
