Its make 10 times much horrifying when it has a happy upbeat and light, because its make you think that the suicidal person consider suicide as something that is not chocking or hurtful for the people who are part in your life. As stupid as this might sound, this song is very comforting to me. I used to not be in the best headspace, but this song (and circus hop being based around the same thing) essentially made me realize I wasn’t alone. They made me realize my feelings weren’t invalid. Mind you it wasn’t purely Yon’s songs that helped, but they certainly did comfort me when I was stressed.

And if others can gain some real benefits from these unusual songs. Well, all the more power to theme!
@@GearHeadedHamster I was introduced to this song randomly when it first came out, and it was when I was not in a good place mentally, so it felt surreal to have something I felt understand me, leading to me now liking most of Yon’s songs (usually) due to the meaning behind the lyrics, such as in you’re just like pop music where it makes me reminisce on an old friendship I had online that we don’t keep up with anymore simply since we moved on, and also since the song itself is just enjoyable . Circus hop is a bit more unique because unlike the other songs it’s not something I’d normally go out of my way to listen to without the meaning behind it due to the main theme of the song being circus related. 1:09 man I was really not ready for how hard this hit me. My family has a history of severe depression, both my parents, my brother, and most of my extended family have been medicated for it. I had shown no signs of depression, but around 8 months ago it slammed into my mind like a truck. All of a sudden I found it extremely hard to get out of bed, or really even care about anything. Honestly I think the apathy is the only reason I’m alive today. If you put me on the side of a bridge, or put a gun in my hands, I don’t think I would have hesitated much, if at all. This song scared me when I saw it recommended to me back then. I don’t think that I really wanted to die back then, but I also just couldn’t see the point of living life out fully, especially with the (very) nihilistic view I had of climate change, and don’t even get me started on politics. I hate american politics with a passion. I feel like I’m constantly forced to support a bad option, or a less bad (but still not good) option. I was scared that this song would give even just one little push, and then I’d be gone. Thankfully I'm better now, I’ve been going to therapy for a while, and have a prescription, but I still sometimes struggle with caring about things. And that’s honestly not even a bad thing most times, you would not believe how helpful it is to just be able to look at a political argument or an attention grabbing article about something horrible that happened somewhere and then you just decide that you don't care. It helps me avoid so many spirals of back and forth pointless arguing and endless bad news articles. Anyways sorry for the essay, I started writing and then words just kept coming out. I hope whoever has read this far has had a wonderful day, and that tomorrow will be even better.
Sorry to hear your roller coaster ride of emotions, but I'm glad you made it through. It's also neat hearing you talk about apathy in a positive light. To paraphrase Dr Wolf, "I tend to find we grow the most when we can turn our greatest weakness into our greatest strength."
Fantastic to hear you're in a better position. A lot of people think of apathy as a negative thing. They're not right or wrong. I find that ability to not care is somewhat of a counter to other negative feelings. My passage in life has turned me quite apathetic but it's for the better. Otherwise I probably wouldn't be typing this right now. Take care brother.

For those who can’t tell the difference or didn’t hear the uncensored version, here’s all I could find 1. In the beginning the robotic voice says ”here’s information for how to k!ll yourself”. In this version it is cut off. 2. During 1:17 the robotic voice says ”talking to someone might help. Want me to search the web for the national su!cide and emergency hotline?” or something along those lines. Really those are the only ones I could find right now edit: oh, and also the search at 2:23 was changed. I think you guys can imagine what the original ”how to” search was Edit 2: as someone pointed out in the replies, you can actually see the original search if you slow down at around 2:29!
My brother and I had a deep convo once and he showed me this song and it triggered me to cry. I never related to something so hard and I sometimes come back to listen to this for comfort. I've listened to your other songs and I find comfort and relate to them. Thank you 💜
Music theory. Mastering it can make everuthing sad or hapy. I can take this song flip one chord minor... and we have the saddest song ever. Just change the rythem and some few tempos. Now its sad. Music theory sucks...
Good god, the health insurance part hit me like a truck. While I don't have to pay it (yet), the things I've been taught in my public health courses have basically framed health insurance in the US as some sort of insanity-inducing, clunky, jumbled mess of a system that is damn near impossible to understand.
This song truly does mean a lot to me I have been suppressing my feelings for 4 years now and Yon really helped me feel validated and show me that other people go through this same thing. Thank you so much Yon for this absolute masterpiece of a song
Your songs always hit home with how vague they are. I knew soemthing was up when I saw the lack of the red bar on this video. I knew I had listened at least ten times. RUclips needs to let creativity flow. Even if it’s touchy subjects.
I am SO glad I listened to the entire thing. I almost stopped listening after the first half because it was a little too heavy for me, but it seems to be a lot more positive/bitter-sweet at the end
I can’t say in words how much I loved this song! I was really disappointed to see that it was taken down, but you got it back up (although censored). I’ve been listening to your music for a few months, almost every day. I really enjoy it. I hope you’re doing well Yon!
Really (responsible?) of you to use your talents to talk about such a serious issue. I'm impressed at the accuracy at some of these points such as at the start because the actions feel so counter-intuitive however it's true. You need to not make yourself more sad and maintain logical and practical outlooks. Then moving on, it was also nice to see the song u-curve into some positivity. I shouldn't be suprised to see this honestly given the themes you cover in other songs. Artists compose based on what matters to them and your heart is clearly in the right place. Keep your mind in the good space too :D You've done a good service here.
a really chipper and pleasant tune for such a gloomy subject and theme. even if it's like that it's a really great song and a vibe. being in a state like that earlier, which makes one relate at a level. and i'm surely getting this wrong, but, it seems like it's continuously telling one to keep on going. i possibly couldn't thank you enough Jon, for making songs with such themes making people more aware
Honestly I find YonKaGor an amazing musical artist and as odd as it is I have listened to this song on many occasions when I felt suicidal or lost in some tough time and overall I think YonKaGor is an amazing person and if you are reading this I just want to Profusely thank you as I don't think I would be this far in my life if it weren't for your songs!
Your songs are so good omg I'm sobbing 😭😭😭 your songs have improved overtime, not to say your old ones were bad! But I can definitely see how much you've grown!! Keep it up Jon, this is amazing!!
What a shame... Still love the tune though. 1:44 Such a good play on this 2:34 Too real, too real Edit: I meant it was a shame because it was taken down
Ahh I was wondering why my comment notifications on the other one weren't working, but now it makes sense. That sucks :// But again, very good song!! Glad you said you're doing okay
I love this guy songs. These past few months they have been a comfort for me. I do feel this song has a deeper meaning and if so I hope your okay with what's happening in your life. I'll say this for people who need to see it that things will get better soon ☺️ Better days are coming for you and keep looking forward 🤗 Stay safe everyone!
it's interesting that this is probably the most overtly positive YonKaGor song, despite being the most blatant about its themes. yet another bop though, keep it up Yon!
I honestly prefer this version of the original. While your other songs hide the references or dance around the idea without explicitly telling you, the uncensored version of this is just a bit TOO on the nose, and tells the listener exactly what your character is trying to do.
I think this song helps me because it's upbeat, but talking about the serious topic, and idk, it's more helpful then the sad sounding beats of a lot of other songs on this topic
•May someone help me compare the uncensored part that was “against RUclips policy”? I really am curious since I’m only finding this now.• All of Yonkagor’s content is very positive in the end when it comes to grim topics, I just wish that RUclips can realize why these types of videos are important. This is quite an underrated channel, respect to him and the team who helps make these!
I am pretty sure it basically changed the voice in the background to speak more lines, like in the blank space at the beginning it was "Here's information for: How to kill yourself," take my words with a grain of salt though, I do not quite remember as I barely got to listen to the uncensored version. Edit: 5 seconds later, found out the uncensored version is still on youtube, just not the MV
I felt like this so meny times, I hope he knows the world needs a talented bard like him. dont leave man for we all are needed no matter what haters say
RUclips is censoring your content again. Had to click on this song repeatedly to get to it. I always saw this song as playfully ironic yet it seems that the internet thinks I'm somehow harmed by listening to it. That is sad.
@@celestirr That is probably due to the fact that it more directly broaches the topic rather than being cleverly hidden behind puns or subtle meaning. I enjoy the cheerful sadness of this song and the complicated emotions it deals with.

Why RUclips had such a problem with this that it ads a link to a suicide health line under it wich is fitting since the video encourages people to phone suicide health lines

Although I am new to the channel. I must say, All your songs are such a vibe, You really deserve much more, Thanks for all your efforts and keep up the amazing music.
It sucks that YT took down the original :( This is such a banger I love this song so much
For those who can’t tell the difference or didn’t hear the uncensored version, here’s all I could find
1. In the beginning the robotic voice says ”here’s information for how to k!ll yourself”. In this version it is cut off.
2. During 1:17 the robotic voice says ”talking to someone might help. Want me to search the web for the national su!cide and emergency hotline?” or something along those lines.
Really those are the only ones I could find right now
edit: oh, and also the search at 2:23 was changed. I think you guys can imagine what the original ”how to” search was
Edit 2: as someone pointed out in the replies, you can actually see the original search if you slow down at around 2:29!
A few more changes were made to the "How To" line during the enumeration. (G. Translate)
If you play at 0.25 speed at 2:29 at 2:30 it shows the old text.
@@rainoffire621 trolling
@@cringium no it's true
@@charwa-8491 i did not mean it literally
This was the first song I found of you and now I'm addicted.
same, I found "Circus Hop", listened to literally every song they made and they are all basically my fav songs lol
i found "You'll be gone"
Really nailed the wikihow artstyle
This is really the most wholsome song that you really outdone it YonKaGor with such stellar work and thanks for the song i really love hearing it
My brother and I had a deep convo once and he showed me this song and it triggered me to cry. I never related to something so hard and I sometimes come back to listen to this for comfort. I've listened to your other songs and I find comfort and relate to them. Thank you 💜
why are you able to make depressing topics such a bop
I agree. It shouldn't be as good as it is...how great it is
Music theory. Mastering it can make everuthing sad or hapy.
I can take this song flip one chord minor... and we have the saddest song ever. Just change the rythem and some few tempos.
Now its sad.
Music theory sucks...
I like how RUclips put a warning on this video but not circus hop
Good god, the health insurance part hit me like a truck. While I don't have to pay it (yet), the things I've been taught in my public health courses have basically framed health insurance in the US as some sort of insanity-inducing, clunky, jumbled mess of a system that is damn near impossible to understand.
I was scared that I never see this again its a pretty good song.
And I was shocked after I looked into my playlist not finding this song
idc if it got censored, i love it just the same. this song really comforts me and i love your music. thank you for making this stuff
I love your songs, whenever you post a new song I can not stop listening to it. Thank you for the great work on your songs and animation.
Keep your mind in the good space too :D
You've done a good service here.
RUclips be like: let us not censor the version that has no MV but the one that does? Absolutely we have to
イラストも歌声も最高でした!!!
a really chipper and pleasant tune for such a gloomy subject and theme.
even if it's like that it's a really great song and a vibe. being in a state like that earlier, which makes one relate at a level.
and i'm surely getting this wrong, but, it seems like it's continuously telling one to keep on going.
i possibly couldn't thank you enough Jon, for making songs with such themes making people more aware
WAIT HOW DOES BRO KNOW ALL THE STEPS?!?!?!?!!
LOVE YOU YONKAGOR
tip: dont give all your money away, use it to help yourself.
there are 2 ways to help yourself.
I thought this was an actual video about 10 things you need to do before you die-
Your songs are so good omg I'm sobbing 😭😭😭 your songs have improved overtime, not to say your old ones were bad! But I can definitely see how much you've grown!! Keep it up Jon, this is amazing!!
The beat and art are SO FRESH please never stop
What a shame... Still love the tune though.
1:44 Such a good play on this
2:34 Too real, too real
Edit: I meant it was a shame because it was taken down
"i tried so many times" lemme read that one more time
This guy takes "When you're happy, you enjoy the music but when you're sad, you understand the lyrics" too literally.
Best music to add it on my Playlist
Ahh I was wondering why my comment notifications on the other one weren't working, but now it makes sense. That sucks ://
But again, very good song!! Glad you said you're doing okay
Literally just: "Welp, guess I'll live"
I found your channel about 3 months ago your songs are amazing can't wait to see the next one tommorow!!
While your other songs hide the references or dance around the idea without explicitly telling you, the uncensored version of this is just a bit TOO on the nose, and tells the listener exactly what your character is trying to do.
it sucks that yt removed this one :( another banger yon! (there has not been one of your songs that i havent cried to)
1:07 Shit, it says "fined", not "fine"?
This took a turn for much darker all of the sudden, I'm scared what will be next
Yon, When did you become the WI-FI that everyone wants?
why isnt this as popular as their other songs? This is very good!
The original got taken down cuz RUclips is a sissy when it comes to suicide
My friend was really into your music. Maybe I should've taken that as a sign.
I think this song helps me because it's upbeat, but talking about the serious topic, and idk, it's more helpful then the sad sounding beats of a lot of other songs on this topic
I remember this making me not do it. DAMN THANKS
🎉🎉🎉
•May someone help me compare the uncensored part that was “against RUclips policy”? I really am curious since I’m only finding this now.•
All of Yonkagor’s content is very positive in the end when it comes to grim topics, I just wish that RUclips can realize why these types of videos are important.
I'm amazed by how perfectly you replicated the wikihow art style
At least the original version can still be heard on Spotify, great work as always jon
Depressing fact:
For a couple frames near the end the search in the Google search bar changes from "how to feel alive" to "how to k*ll yourself".
That’s what it said in the uncensored version but they had to put text over it because of problems with youtube
I felt like this so meny times, I hope he knows the world needs a talented bard like him. dont leave man for we all are needed no matter what haters say
I just kinda found your videos, and I honestly didn’t realize my thoughts were this common, I’ve had these exact thoughts especially latley
The way RUclips tried to make me contact a therapist the moment I clicked this video
I was half expecting:”
1. Go to therapy
2. Go to therapy
3. Go to therapy
4. Go to therapy
5. Go to therapy
6. Etc…”
RUclips is censoring your content again. Had to click on this song repeatedly to get to it. I always saw this song as playfully ironic yet it seems that the internet thinks I'm somehow harmed by listening to it. That is sad.
IKR? Yon has made a number of songs on this topic but this one in particular just refuses to play half the time.
@@celestirr That is probably due to the fact that it more directly broaches the topic rather than being cleverly hidden behind puns or subtle meaning. I enjoy the cheerful sadness of this song and the complicated emotions it deals with.
Found this sound cause of your furality concert! Always loved your songs and I’m glad to have discovered more!!
I had a playlist of music playing to see which song would play on New Years Day and it was this one, of course it was
NAWWW THEY ON GOD DID NOT CENSOR MY BOY YONKAGOR
This feels like something I’ve vaguely seen before. I don’t know why I feel like I’ve seen this a while in the past. How
I like how he says in spotify "i like fish, i hope you like my songs. If you relate, seek therapy when you have the money"
I like that on the search result it also said most depressing YonKaGor songs
thank you for the secret, yon. love nemo, he is a good dog
2:29 although it had to be censored you can still see a flash of the original search
HOW?! I wrote a similar comment 4 hours earlier but didn't get a single like! What's the secret?!
Think of a comment, don’t check if someone’s already made it. And for that I’m sorry
@@sullycub7183
Uh... All my comments always go unnoticed and I thought that what I was writing about was the problem, but now it is clear that this is not the case. I'm just wondering why my comments are being ignored... (G. Translate)
Well good luck on future endeavours
Why is it so cheery and depressing at the same time.
Glad to see it up again
Firstly I was confused on a late notification, but oh man! Feel sorry about RUclips's hypocritic censorship, Yonathan... They let any kind of cringy matters, but if anyone tries to bring up a sensetive moral/psychological topic - "Arrivederci"...
Amazing clip still tho :D
Why RUclips had such a problem with this that it ads a link to a suicide health line under it wich is fitting since the video encourages people to phone suicide health lines
This is kind of what I’m going through at the moment I don’t like therapy or wanting to call that number I don’t feel like I have a purpose to live or anything and since I’m a Irish man I’m declared not to cry or anything I just want to escape from this world
Sometimes life’s a bitch and you keep on living :P
I thought i clicked on a bucket list written out for me
Oh YT, I am glad I saw the first version before it was deleted. Bet YT didn't hear the end of the song😐
Edit: the previous version made me little concerned yes but the ending made my worry disappear
And to anyone thats reading this even if your having hard times I believe in you don't ever give up!
@Retentionation Idc if he is cringe, I like his songs
Annnnnd a song that perfectly represents 2023 cuase a part of this is how life go 😭
RUclips didn't like the 8 bit Yon speaking (Still great)
Hey if you don't really care about visuals all that much if you go to the album on RUclips it's uncensored the comments are turned off tho
The song has a good anding, and makes hope. now I feel better
