Here's my reply: The Canaanites were celebrating the winter solstice ritual in honor of Baal 5000 years ago. In each household they had a tree (phallus symbol), a wreath (vagina symbol), and they exchanged gifts. Many centuries later the ancient Romans were celebrating the ritual in honor of Saturn and doing it the same way (tree, wreaths, gifts). Their name for the ritual was 'Saturnalia.' In around 300 A.D. the Catholic Church priestclass renamed the ritual 'Christmas.' They did it as an evangelistic ploy to attract people away from Saturn worship. Jesus was born on September 11, 3 B.C. by the Julian Calendar. Bethlehem is 2500 ft. above sea level so that in December there would've been no grass for the sheep to eat (see Luke 2:8-20 in the King James Version). Jesus had nothing to do with Christmas (never did and never will). You can verify this information online, but it is becoming increasingly difficult to find information that goes against the system narrative (propaganda/brainwash).

I’m from Latin America and on Christmas I try to go to church or listen the service on RUclips since my church have a channel, do my devotional and before start dinner we read Bible, pray and I try to put a reflection about the important of the miracle birth of Jesus 🙏 so I don’t focus in other stuff just Jesus and share with the family
Lukewarm: I think the biggest obstacle for people is that they do not see how destitute they truly are...everyone wants to like themselves but they have blinders on...there is no critical and honest self reflection otherwise it would ring in their heart how broken they truly are...and im speaking from my self realization too. I've seen so many teenagers and youths being deceived by the pleasures of this world. Many doesn't realize the darkness they are in but turn to love every sweetness of it. The most obvious reason...Pagans didn't celebrate the birth of Jesus of Nazareth! Christmas happens around the same time as the Jewish holiday of C'Hanukka, and this is no accident. His point was that Christmas does not have pagan origins, but there are winter celebrations that are pagan. If we dismissed these customs because of their pagan origin then we should also dismiss wedding rings, weddings, chairs, Western calendars, funerals, days of the week-for many were created by pagans. This is so hard to live righteous I'm still struggling but I do pray and ask for forgiveness but I still mess up and now I'm traumatized by it... Because we're still going to mess up and slip up regardless
The best we can do is repent and turn away from our sins. It is easier said than done to turn away from whatever you are struggling with, but that is why we have Jesus. If your heart truly wants to rid yourself of that sin, cry out to the Holy Spirit for help. Jesus died on that cross because we ARE imperfect and are sinners.We come to the Lord humble, knowing we are not worthy of His grace, but begging for forgiveness. He knows your heart, and will accept you with open arms if you are truly born again and trying to live of the spirit and not of the world.
Just take it one minute at a time. Think spiritual minded every minute and give less thought to carnal minded. It becomes easier the more you practice it.

In around 300 A.D. the Catholic Church priestclass renamed the ritual 'Christmas.' They did it as an evangelistic ploy to attract people away from Saturn worship. The majority of the Roman people were Saturn worshipers. The temple of Saturn was the biggest building in ancient Rome. The temple priests were very wealthy and the Catholic priestclass wanted to get in on the cash cow.
The spirit behind Christmas is Saturn (Old Testament Baal). The Apostle John called him 'The Spirit of Antichrist" (counterfeit Christ who seeks to mimic the Holy Spirit). He is the principality of idolatry, plus he is the spirit of top-down-control (seeks to manifest through men-at-the-top, e.g. leaders of nations, governments, religions, corporations, military, academia, medicine, media, finance, etc.). The ancient Babylonians and Assyrians called him Bel. The ancient Greeks called him Cronos. The ancient Hindus called him Indra. Same spirit going by different names in different cultures and in different time periods.
It was very important to him to implement the winter solstice ritual as he understood that when a person celebrates (honors) the ritual it gives him automatic rights of access to their human spirit (conscience, intuition, and the ability to commune with the Holy Spirit) and to have ongoing influence on their spiritual life (the kingdom of darkness is all about control).
Jesus was born on September 11, 3 B.C. by the Julian Calendar. Bethlehem is 2500 ft. above sea level so that in December there would've been no grass for the sheep to eat (see Luke 2:8-20 in the King James Version). Jesus had nothing to do with Christmas (never did and never will). You can verify this information online, but it is becoming increasingly difficult to find information that goes against the system narrative (propaganda/brainwash).

Christmas does not have pagan origins, although many of the rituals and symbols behind it, including the day it is celebrated may have. We celebrate the origin of it, the God-Man, behind it and the salvation is symbolizes, not the pagan celebrations it may have replaced. Gregory Koukl wrote a nice piece on this issue here. His point was that Christmas does not have pagan origins, but there are winter celebrations that are pagan. If we dismissed these customs because of their pagan origin then we should also dismiss wedding rings, weddings, chairs, Western calendars, funerals, days of the week-for many were created by pagans.

God also lists the use of statues in His worship (EXO. 25: 17-19), garland, bells, and fruit (EXO. 28: 33; II COR. 3: 16), and other things I could list but won't.
All of these things are used at Christmas, and condemned by people as pagan. Is this a double-standard? Once again we're right back to talking about having a standard and sticking to it.

This is so hard to live righteous I'm still struggling but I do pray and ask for forgiveness but I still mess up and now I'm traumatized by it... Because we're still going to mess up and slip up regardless
The best we can do is repent and turn away from our sins. It is easier said than done to turn away from whatever you are struggling with, but that is why we have Jesus. If your heart truly wants to rid yourself of that sin, cry out to the Holy Spirit for help. Jesus died on that cross because we ARE imperfect and are sinners.We come to the Lord humble, knowing we are not worthy of His grace, but begging for forgiveness. He knows your heart, and will accept you with open arms if you are truly born again and trying to live of the spirit and not of the world.
Just take it one minute at a time. Think spiritual minded every minute and give less thought to carnal minded. It becomes easier the more you practice it.
Take it one day at a time remember you’ll never be perfect only God is perfect that’s why he died on the cross because he knows we’re not perfect everyone of us have our own journey and we have the Holy Spirit and he knows your heart and he will help you to conquer

Feasting is biblical, but gluttony is not, so perhaps that is an area that Christians need to think about in their Christmas celebrations. Drinking alcoholic beverages is not forbidden by the Bible, but getting drunk is. So, a Christian celebration should not involve drunkenness. Giving of gifts is biblical, but going into debt or spending beyond your means is not, so Christmas gifts should be purchased responsibly. It’s good for Christians to examine their celebrations to make sure that they truly honor God.

It’s not a problem of taking away from the Word but adding on to it, stop pretending that we need to celebrate Christmas to do well in our study of the Bible or our walk with Christ. I just don’t get it. I celebrated the last time in 2018, never looked back and don’t miss it.
Saint Nicholas, gave gifts in secret, it is he that Santa is inspired from. Winter is a dark and depressing time, should there be nothing? There is a need for a cheerful celebration, to lift peoples hearts. You, and others, are being immense fools. On Halloween, the same day, should you do absolutely nothing? Is it on that day, wrong to celebrate and praise God? It is on a pagan holiday, so therefore doing anything in favor of God, or to glorify God, is an immense sin, just because it's done on the same day. On Christmas, we remember God, and what Jesus have done for us, is that wrong? I think you, and others, are workers of iniquity, servants of Satan, who attack the very day dedicated to celebrate Jesus arrival on earth! You bring up the yulelog, which is not a thing anymore, nobody has a big log they burn over time anymore, get a grip. You appear to me as a legalist, with the heart of a pharisee. Just because the world and worldly people, use the season for commercialism, doesn't mean you have to, you can celebrate Christmas the Christian way, instead.
No, Christmas is not a pagan holiday. Christmas is the Christian remembrance and celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. Christians believe that, in Christ, God entered the human race and so deserves the title Immanuel or “God With Us” (Matthew 1:23).
Even so, some say that various Christmas traditions have pagan origins, so the question is legitimate.
First, the pagan origins of Christmas are far from certain. The winter solstice, often tied with Christmas, never falls on December 25. Likewise, Saturnalia, which has also been proposed as the origin of Christmas, was never celebrated on December 25. Other Christmas symbols, such as trees and candles, may have had some pagan connotations, but these are so common in human experience that it can hardly be claimed that their use was ever exclusive to paganism.
Second, the meaning of any word, symbol, or custom is determined by current usage, not origin. Many words and practices have departed from their origins and no longer mean anything close to what they once did. For instance, the swastika has been around for thousands of years as a symbol of good fortune. It was therefore reasonable for the Nazi party to take this as their symbol, as they emphasized that they were the party to bring good times back to Germany, which was going through hard times after World War I. However, it would be absolute foolishness for a person to decorate his home today with swastikas based on their “real meaning.” The swastika has been so thoroughly identified with the horrors of the Holocaust that, in the current culture, it is a symbol for anti-Semitism and all things evil. The original meaning of the symbol is completely irrelevant.
Likewise, if you asked the average American to tell you about Nike, probably better than 90 percent would talk about a brand of athletic shoes and clothing with hardly any mention of the Greek goddess of victory for whom the company is named. In a Google search of the term Nike, you would have to sift through dozens of results before you found anything about the Greek goddess Nike. When you see someone wearing the famous “swoosh,” your first thought is of a modern company, not an ancient goddess, and no one would assume that the wearer of said clothing is a worshiper of the goddess.
Regardless of what the Christmas symbols may once have meant, their use today needs to be evaluated on the basis of what they mean today. To automatically associate candles, colored lights, or decorated trees with pagan worship is unwarranted.
If there are unbiblical practices in our Christmas celebration, then those should be forsaken. Feasting is biblical, but gluttony is not, so perhaps that is an area that Christians need to think about in their Christmas celebrations. Drinking alcoholic beverages is not forbidden by the Bible, but getting drunk is. So, a Christian celebration should not involve drunkenness. Giving of gifts is biblical, but going into debt or spending beyond your means is not, so Christmas gifts should be purchased responsibly. It’s good for Christians to examine their celebrations to make sure that they truly honor God.
