@Augusto Sebastian Garcia ☺☺☺☺☺☺ Learn the rules dummy! In order to be an offensive foul, the defender MUST has his feet, BOTH OF THEM, FIRMLY POSITIONED on the ground, BEFORE the offensive player jumps towards him, or even just goes in that very position (his trajectory is directly towards the defender and they hit with one another). Only then it's offensive foul! IN ALL OTHER CASES it's the other way around!

It didn't ruin his career, he actually is still involved in sports as a sport anchor for local baskteball teams. However, his career did suffer from personal life issues. This all happened after the 2000 Olympics, but that frenchman's son was born and was diagnosed with Autism, he took the news rather badly and turned to drinking, which later turned into a nasty divorce and he even attempted suicide. Evenually he got his life back together.
