I doubt Phil will ever use this as he just said he needs to play through a real tube amp just a few days ago at GuitCon.
Maybe at home he might use it if his kids are asleep?
how do i use these tones live ??? no use recvording something i cant do live...
Everything sound somehow birght and high end open for my taste compare to how real amp sounds to me at least. Other critic would be I do not hear too distant difference between amp models, I mean there is noticeable difference,but real amps do not sound so close to each other in terms how they react,eq curve based etc.Thats what the most amp sims brands on the market suffers from.
Other then that I find this plugin gives great HD fidellity which most plugins are not even able to do.Always goes on muddy,muffled and boomy or too bright and super fizzy tone. STL Tonality really managed to suprass that,and also with so little tweak you make good tone that suits your needs.
The people here at the car wash are probably wondering why I keep laughing and smiling at my phone so much...

What kind of Wizard 50 is this, Classic 50W, Classic II 50W or Modern 50W?
Saw Phil at the Guitar Summit on stage with Pete Thorn through the OX, Thomas Blug through Amp 1, Larry Mitchell through Axe FX III, Uli Roth through I don't know what..... but Phil sounded by far the best through his signature amp. It was certainly not this tone.
This isn't a Phil X product ;) Phil has done session work for Howard Benson and Mike Plotnikoff for many years, so it was fitting to have Phil come in and run the plugin through it's paces, and validate that the plugin is indeed the tones that Howard and Mike are so well known for.
