Marcelito Pomoy is a treasure of the Philippines that needs to be shared to the world. There is nobody like him because his ability to sing is just self-taught. I have never heard a man who could create an absolutely feminine female voice, so smooth, so crystal clear, so gentle and heavenly. He has a most silky baritone voice and he has got a gorgeous vocal timbre. Please check out his semi-final song CON TE PARTIRO. He blew the roof off!!!

Hahaha you cracked me up when you noticed Simon's million dollar look in his face.....youre right about the info you read about him having no formal vocal training...he had a hard life being homeless he was abandoned by his mother and the best he had was living with his father in jail...so you would easily believe he was self taught....after all who would be able to do what he does....is it something a vocal coach can teach and make his student learn to execute it.... he is a freak of nature who can be a bass, tenor and soprano and in tops can mimic voices of world class talents male and female....just use the piano....it covers all note categories that identifies all types of singer voice......you can be an exceprional talent just being within your voice range....but if you can do over that then youre a freak

Yes he never had any vocal lessons nor training whatsoever. He grew up living in the streets up to his early twenties doing odd jobs just to survive. Watch him at Ellen de GENERES show before Agt to know more about his background. He cannot express himself in English so there was an interpreter. Watch until the end of his segment as Ellen had a surprise for him. That’s also the reason why his wife was there on the stage with him as an interpreter. Angelina Jordan was also in that same contest. Also watch the Awards Night He performed We Are The Champions by Freddy Mercury. He just learned that song just before the performance. More of him please ❤️🙏
Yes, Marcelito was definitely in it to win it. But Marcelito was not allowed to choose the song he wanted to sing, and Cowell insisted he sing Beauty and the Beast. Then after he sang it, Cowell criticized him for it!! So Marcelito put out a press release about it. That ticked off Cowell and he got even by ensuring Marcelito lost. Cowell's a jackass.

AGT has a time limit for songs, that's why its shorter. I am a HUGE Marcelito fan though not Filipino, I'm American!
