How to repair your dead Panamax / Furman UPS ( or pretty much any other )

  • 95% of the times your UPS ( No-break ) WILL fail after 1-2 years due to exhausted sealed acid batteries inside.
    Good news is it’s a simple and cheap fix.

    Hi @DJFred MIA, When I press the power button on my F1500 nothing happens. The display or lights do do anything. I ensured power is connected and I left the unit plugged in overnight. I tested all of the batteries and all four show 0V. I assume this is why I don't see anything and assume all four batteries need replacing. Is that correct? Thanks!!

    Well last 3 minutes still showing red fault on your display panel, Do you know wait ? can you help tell the detail for the new battery and you have two mine only bring one !

      the receptacle that it was plugged did not have the 3rd pin ( safety ground ) - nothing related to the battery
