You went right to your response: decide your course of action, and take care of the issue. Very cool instrument.
As an amateur guitar builder this is the best inspiration ever, I feel like I need to come to Finland and suffer many months at the hands of this grand master to become better
@@timhallas4275 ESP can do anything they want and anything a customer wishes as long he can afford it. This is a great guitar, but basically just a V with nice finishing and black-red hardware (with all due respect to the luthier). You clearly have now idea on how ESP cs is working.
@@AyBi_Studio I have seen ESPs custom shop in a video. They do exactly the same thing as the regular production factory, except they do custom paint and hardware. The bodies and necks come from the factory floor. They are nos special. I ask you this. If I want a ESP V made from black limba, with a curly walnut top and an aluminum neck.... will they build it?
Man, as a Rhoads fan I must say that's just beautiful! Stunning work. Randy would be proud of the legacy. I hope one day I will be able to have my own custom RR
Завидую таким мастерам.я пока по мелочи всякое делаю но в дальнейшем как хобби сделаю себе мастерскую.а мастеру большое уважение очень хорошо получилось 👍
Absolutely gorgeous man, you did a fantastic job, the only thing I wish you had done is use red acrylic for the fret markers instead of Paduk so the red really blended with the hardware accents and bevels
I was thinkin about it, but I want to avoid plastics as much as possible on my guitar - padauk is the most naturally red wood, so I decided to use that.
I took a peek at the website. You guys make amazing stuff. Glad to see so many guitars with Floyds. It seems Jackson has moved on to string-thru as their most common.
Awesome build! Without a doubt for the money the Gotoh 1996t is the best value! I have 5 guitars with a 1996t.! I also have a few with German original Floyd rose, but I prefer the Gotoh.! I like the red parts you changed out as well. I wish that RUclips would let you share photos.!
Hello! I kinda prefer it like this so it not too obvious, the unstained / natural maple necks look too plain to me, even with darker contrasting strips. Granted, I started making these 5-piece necks to give the neck a bit more visual interested, but soon realized that there are plenty of structural benefits to this, so now I look at it more as a structural thing than visual thing.
Impressive...Im more of a traditional Gibson Flying V guy, but I do have a Buddy Blaze V that's more modern looking like this one...not the Star Trek Federation logo, but a symmetrical modern V.
Wow, clean build, I especially like the fact that you've used these strap pins! So sleek looking. YOu have a good eye for details, do you print your own waterslide decals? What kind of solvent is that?
I console myself with the age old phrase "master has failed more times than an apprentice has even tried" -> every mistake I make, I learn a bit more 😁
Unfortunately I'd have to charge probably double on that compared to what I'd charge for one I build my self - teaching anything takes an insane amount of time compared to just simply building it yourself 😅
@@Kiiras hahaha... thats funny double price for me helping or being in tha way...we can still do social distancing. .lol Iam just looking for the best excuse to travel back to Finland 😎 i can't say enough good things about that country...Finland was the birth place of heavy metal, 👍🎸..the people i met there were down to earth like family, 💛💚 .iam building 2 kits, up grading a fender, and have one scratch build in tha works rite now ! Great looking and sounding guitar. Interesting neck joint option. Any reason you didn't go for a set neck or through neck construction ? Great job still. :)
Hi! I'm willing to argue that my bolt-on neck (even with only 3-bolts) is better than most set necks: the joint is tight and accurate, so there's virtually nothing between the body and the neck - no glue, not even air! And as you can see, I lacquer the body and neck together to ensure nothing gets between them. I also make neck-thru-bodies, and many of my commissioned guitars are ordered as NTB:s. For these guitars I make for sale, I prefer bolt-ons since they're easier (less work) to make, and therefore keep the price more affordable.
Think I may have found an alternative to Jackson, as their Pro series are not not up to scratch and are just a joke TBH. Really hit n miss. If you pay US custom shop prices, why not go something extra special and probably a lot less USD. This V is totally a work of art. I love it and basically had to pop my eyes back in their sockets watching this whole video. Looks Metal AF! excellent care to detail and craftmanship level is amazing. The red accents and special touches really make this weapon shine above a lot out there.
I've built a few in different blues / violets, but no videos of them. You can see a lot more of my work on my Facebook or Instagram; links in the description.
Hello. I am from Russia, I don’t know English, I use google translator. Perhaps he will not translate everything accurately. you make great tools. And the work is optimized, there are no unnecessary unnecessary operations, like many filming videos for RUclips. Taking off my hat. the question arises: which blade is on the miter saw for cutting under the frets? I believe this is the fastest, easiest and most accurate way of any other hand saws and templates.
Aw, shucks. Should've guessed that the market is already saturated with RR style guitars with black&red flame (birch) tops, padauk inlays, Floyd Roses Equipped with FU-Tone hardware, 3-bolt neck joints...
