The drone is by far the best way to capture the action. Thank you Zen for capturing this amazing footage! Shout out to all the event organizers, racers and sponsors! You all are pioneers in this sport, thanks for your dedication and for paving the way for others to follow! Can't imagine what it's going to be like when 150-300 riders register and race. Exciting times I'm looking forward to next year!
Crisp video. Great race. Exciting to watch from a drones view. If anyone is wondering on why I didn’t just go straight to SHO’s left it’s because I wasn’t sure if SHO knew we were coming up on him or not therefore I went to the far right to avoid hitting him if he did. From the drone’s perspective you may think, “he’s just standing there”. However, my eyes were focused on my lines and didn’t see him until after I cleared that turn and gained my stability back.
that is definitely one of your best videos! WOW. that footage! You showed really good endurance on that entire race too - you could tell some racers were struggling with form. Big ups to Sheridan and Douglass - two guys I've ridden with quite a bit in Portland. thinking about the drama, and I've thought about it more than necessary 😅, just glad nobody got hurt as a result of certain outcomes. I do think a signed contract with very clear rules will help an event like this - try to remove subjective outcomes with clear boundaries which everyone understands/agree to pre-race
Lets Not have a written contract. 1) It legally doesn't mean anything 2) This is an extreme sport so everyone knows there are inherent risks 3) If someone doesn't like something, they / we should be able to deal with it as a collective / the old west style
@@toddzang253 thats a terrible attitude, to push a sport forward you need clear rules and boundaries so you can practice within those boundaries to most efficiency, this isn't a sport until theres real rules and regulation, right now its just some guys on electric unis briskly riding track. We don't need very much technicality here as the riders haven't figured out EXACTLY the best way to be fast. Every racing discipline is different so they basically have to learn on the fly what works and what doesnt. YOU NEED hard regulations for progress to be made.
Niice race... your explaining was perfect... I felt like beeing part of the race ❤❤🤙🔝 awesome Zen ;-) Congrats to the winner... all the best... ride hard stay save Gruuuuzzz
I have never seen something like this before, in auto of racing, turning into another racer who clearly made the turn and has an inside line, is almost always the fault of the racer turning in from the outside. Good stuff
@@BlackElroy that would be epic, would love to see a true2one team! Vegas is great before the summer months, gets really hot then, and not fun to ride, unless late at night.
For people who don't know this is a kart track in California called Grange. This was my favorite shifter kart track. They are running the track in reverse.
Even with the crazy pedal dip on the exn it can still hang! Really shows the need for a refresh of a compact, powerful, nonsuspension wheel. It will be interesting to see if the race community leans towards nonsuspension in the future. The master seems too top heavy to really dig in on those turns
Been watching this sport over the past year, very eager to see the future of it. I do feel there is gonna need to be a circuit that focuses on specified build rules. I understand there is probably a power limit for these races, but not all bearings are built the same, nor are breaks, electronic controllers etc etc. Alien has definitely had some of the best machines. I personally haven't seen many of these races that restrict the vehicle to keep a level playing field but I'd like to see it. Also would be sweet to see some advancement on the suits.
@@ZenLee yeah. I’ve been practicing every weekend for months. I don’t want to let my skills fade. You’re the only guy that has been on the podium every single year.

Thanks for making this. should prob cut the first 3 minutes and cut to the action dude. Love it. You best be keeping in the scene. This is so captivating with your commentary. Appreciate it bro. Intense!!
Dont take this the wrong way, but am I the only one who thinks there should be some jumps or stairs or obstacles of some kind in these races? I think off-road EUC racing would be more exciting to watch.
it's a great question that I can't answer. Many people were using an App that measures all the finer track details, like time on each stretch, top speed, etc. I'll be using it next time.
You could order a shit ton of road cones and add time trial slalom events to the day for carving experts. Like they used to do with roller blading and skateboarding in the 70's on those banana boards

Lovely job in the editing and commentary, and a great advert for both Begode and FPV drone skills !

I am curious, do you know the top speed you hit? Hard to tell if the straights are long enough for you to get above 50?
yes think we're getting over 50, but I didn't check.
was the EXN modded with a lifted pedal hanger?
If not, crazy how it can keep up the turns with higher pedal suspension wheels
don't think so, he was scraping pretty hard, but didn't weigh much so able to get a lot more power out of the ex.n
how do you do it to travel with a EUC on a plane?
cannot fly unfortunately with EUc maybe in future
