I would love to revisit Tina and see her get an upgraded and even bigger room, cause she deserves the master bedroom, not her parents. Now as for selling the kids stuff, maybe you could write down how much you gained from selling the kids' items and then deduct that from the Simoleans because in real life we just throw that stuff away or donate it and we don't earn money from those items
Ah, but in reality you also wouldn't buy those items new it you were poor you'd buy 'em from wherever those rich people donate them too. For about what the depreciation costs the sims. So it all works out.
I like how mom keeps lifting up dad to hug, not having to go to work apparently does miracles to your relationship with your partner
I miss TS2 so much. It was the most realistic iteration of The Sims and the last one under Maxis before EA took over. I forgot your fridge actually became empty and you had to restock it. Its the little things.
That always added a little extra challenge, because there was a base cost for grocery delivery as well, so it was better to buy more at once, but weather you can afford to is another matter

Well... EA bought Maxis in 1997 so... EA has always been The Sims' publisher. Maxis is still the developer.
I just noticed they don't have palettes on the sims 4.

Loving this series! I do think you should replace the kid's stuff with teen's stuff. I don't think it's cheating by selling the kid's stuff, as you're replacing it with things your Sim has earned. If you like you could sell it for expensive teen stuff to "make up for it"? I'd like to see the whole place get a makeover and maybe an expansion. A bigger room for Tina? Paintings for her room? She's certainly earned it. ^_^

Would love to see you give the 1 Tile challenge a try. Its like Rags to Riches but the sim is trapped in a 1 tile box and can't leave until the have a fully functional home. I dont know all the rules but im sure its listed somewhere.

If you have mansion and garden you can put a solar panel on the ground. It will help with the bills.

The parents don't do anything all day except hug and play. Why can't they go outside and pull all those weeds in the yard?

I played TS2 when I was younger, but that was decades agoa and I don't remember specific items, I do however have almost every item in game from TS3 memorized and can tell you was paxk or store set it came from. It's a little disheartening to realize their creativity was slipping even then to see how many items from the store sets that I loved were just carryovers from the earlier game

I love to watch The Sims 2 gameplay when Sims needs are okay, nobody is dying, no fire etc. The Sims 2 is not an easy game compared to Sims 4 but if you have the skill of playing it, it will be okay. I remember having a family of one father and 7 kids and it was bearable 😂

I love the Sims 2 challenges!
I'm starting to think I'm neurodovergent because sometimes when I run into a video where the person narrating has a certain type of voice (timbre, inflection, diction) I just can't listen to anyone else for a while. I like to have familiar gaming videos while I draw/paint or work on stuff in general... So glad there are so many videos on the channel 😊
But I am curious, how common is it for a person to get hyperfixated on a disembodied voice. Also I don't think even if I am neurodivergent it would be a bad thing, just curious
That's doubtful to be honest. I'm not, and I'm the same way. I know for a fact that I'm not, as my husband and little sister both have Asperger's.
It just means that you like background noise, specifically stuff that you can focus in on if you want, but don't have to. It's very normal.
