That JB guy you work for must be a hell of a guy loaning you a new and un-fired Colt Competition. Jeez. Then of course, perhaps he's thinking you'll do the break in for him which isn't a bad deal for him either. Lol. I absolutely LOVE those stainless Colt Competition's.- Something I've noticed here is that you have a greater propensity to hit target with this gun than some of the others I've watched you shoot with over the course of a few videos. Thanks for the video. For a spell there at the end of the video I thought you were talking about John Moses Browning but I'm straight now.
Jb is a great friend and boss.as far as my shooting most of my videos I have never shot the firearm before I do the videos. I try to show my experience with them from the beginning.some guns I shoot well and some I don’t do well with.thank you friend for your comment.
Just a guess but try some 124 gr ammo until the springs wear in. I have a Colt Defender in 9mm and it works flawlessly no matter what I run through it. My slide always locks after last round. I belive your Colt will run just fine after some break in.
Sweet lookin and shootin pistola Mi Amigo. I have the same one but 45. Haven’t got to shoot it yet but I’m fondling it as we speak. Had it 3 days and looking for to a place to shoot.
ive been fooling with 1911s for 25yrs and i noticed the ejection pattern is showing tight extractor and recoil spring is just needing run. The federal seems weak but it will start running better the more the owner puts through it.. just needs broke in or slight tweak to extractor. great gun
@2Afreedomrange Hey man I ordered me a Tisas carry Stingray 9mm. Waiting on it to come in. Thanks for your excellent review on that particular pistol. I EDC a Sig P226 9mm and a Bersa Thunder .380 acp. I'm hoping the Stingray can earn a spot in my EDC. BTW...if you haven't checked out the Bersa Thunder .380, you might want too. Excellent and very reliable pistol.
Beautiful Colt 1911
Thanks friend.
"If it isn't a Colt, it's a Copy" - That's a thoroughbred, right there, friend...
THANK YOU SIR FOR YOUR VIDEO GOD BLESS
I would say that the gun is over sprung on lite powered ammo. Ejection was weak.
That’s probably true friend.

Great firearm with a little break in friend.

your welcome! Thanks for sharing the gospel meaasge. Im a Pastor in somerset ky, but was raised around hazzard but moved here in early 90s.
That’s great brother!
That’s what I’m talking about. Bringing the truth at the end. May the name of the Lord be praised 👍👍
Amen brother GOD BLESS YOU!
Should be locking back for sure. The double springs may just need some breaking in.
I agree friend.

9mm???
I have one great lookin gun just havent had time to shoot it
Great firearm just needs to be broke in.
Either you’re riding the slide stop or I would definitely be sending that back! No way is that normal
Yeah I agree friend.
Cool,colt
Thanks friend.
goy a little flinch there but very nice gun. Stainless on stainless better run it with very wet slide and frame.
Thanks friend.
That's crazy. I got the 45 and it's always locked back and never malfunctioned. 9mm in a 1911 is a no go and that's why
That maybe right friend but I have other 9m/m 1911s that I’ve not had any issues with.with break in time it smooth out.
I want one who can I order it from
