Honestly for a while this was the only capcom game to have legitimately good voice acting.
Yeah, they had the best English voice actors for MegaMan Legends 1 and 2, unlike the voice actors for MegaMan X 4 and MegaMan 8. 😅

nah fam, need to know how all this ties into the old one, what was master thomas's plan, howd the earth get flooded, where are model ZX. are they under water? did the last human turn into a cyber elf? is cyberspace still a thing in the year 81xx. Where did the proto-anthro's go. who were they? who kept progressing the technology. We know that dr light turned into SOMETHING like a cyberelf, he may have been the first one. After a cyber is just an Ai turn sentient and made of energy, and thats what DR. Light is. Bro, so many question. I hated those Reaverbots with the giant pincers and distinctive clank as they walked...that meant trouble, and if ya got caught by one, it was generally a game over.
One of the few games where I actually enjoyed the English dub a whole lot. It was so well done.

Haha this ending theme always made me tear up, not only was it an end of an adventure but last bits of our innocence were lost a few short years later when the true disappointment of the world really set in, that not everything will finish it's story, some are lost to time; like our innocence.

Did the voice actors change for the N64 version?
Not only they sound much better (understabdable cuz of CD & Cartridge differences),
But, I don't know, the change of the voices feels bigger than just sounding clean. Like, most of the characters sound deeper.
The only one I prefer in the 64 version is Teasel. But Tron and Roll in 64 sound almost like it's the same actor, and boy this Deeper and more rude voice fits Tron a whole lot more.
And I thought RZ was right with X8 being the first instance of competent voice acting in the franchise.
If you’re a huge Fan of other MegaMan games and not a huge fan of MegaMan legends and you probably have absolutely no hope with this game whatsoever

I played both these games and loved them, every problem people had was a small learning curve or option Change

in essence we don't actually know what the mother lode is because when you play through mml2 THEY think that what you are looking for is the mother lode, but you still havent actually found the "real" treasure

I played the 64 version
First is megaman battle network series then star force followed by the classic series and the megaman x series followed by the zero and zx series and finally the megaman legends series
There is a split timeline at the beginning
Battle network and starforce are a different universe

Is megaman a robot or a human in a suite
It's an interesting question. He is a purifier unit, but after he was badly damaged in a fight with Sera, he had to be 'reset' to a baby form. I'd say he is an artificial human (just like other humans in Tera), and his being a purifier unit explains why he is modular and able to use a variety of weapons. Purifier units were designed for combat because their job was to eliminate aberrant (rogue) units that betrayed the master system. Some people say he is fully human (not possible in Megaman Legends' terms because all of the humans from Terra are artificial). Others say he is a cyborg.
I would venture to say he is an artificial human with some robotic traits that come from his armor.

Yeah the only one minor gripe about the first 3-D sequence after that one little Cut scene is that the first 3-D sequence once you begin the game is very dialogue heavy and every action that you make presents he was more of it
