With such a family you don’t need enemies anymore
Enemies gonna unite with you against said family😂
“Sweet words are more dangerous than hidden daggers”
Queen Aanya
The Dragon Prince
Season 2
Can’t remember episode
1st story - the OP's mother called her aunt after the PC went missing and the aunt said she didn't know anything about the PC. That right there, that's the major clue on how the OP is not a jerk. The aunt lied for over a month, and his mother didn't side with him.
taking someone's property without their permission is considered as stealing so the family is an idiot for not knowing that or they do they just didn't think it'll be a big deal (like they would think they would just get a warning or something)
OP’s family is thinking “what’s the big deal? It’s just a computer.”
The entitled Aunt BROKE INTO their house and STOLE from them. Borrowing requires to get CONSENT. Like would it be the same if OP took money from the Aunt’s purse and say “oH iM jUsT boRRoWinG iT!”
"Borrowing Permanently"
broke into stole consent op
this sounds like another thing
@Mug Man Yeah and getting arrested isn’t even a punishment. It’s the cops telling you to take a break.
yep
and a week in jail is extremely light punishment
idk how much OP's computer was worth, but to use my own PC as an example, it cost me over 2k dollars (equivalent since im not in the US)
in my country thats grand larceny and that can get you years in jail on top of a heavy fine
i am bit surprised that OP didn't have password protection and encryption on his PC.
As for "borrowing". PC value reduces quite drastically over time and as I understand it was quite new when it was "borrowed", so value decreased more than on average. I can't imagine anyone can call it borrowing when you have been specifically asked about it and you don't say you borrowed it. At that point it was clearly stealing no matter how long you had "borrowed" it at that point.
Story 1, she lied about not knowing about the computer when he first asked by calling.
It is all the more reason to press charge.
1st story: How are they gonna tell OP he was in the wrong if the police agreed with him and pressed charges. The law agreed with OP.
Because they're family and that automatically means a get out of jail free card and getting to steal without punishment.
COPS cant give their own fucking family a get out of jail free card why should they?!
@@axellucielle9060
did you even listen to the story. The cops weren't the family, the accused and the accuser were family.
@@sanddagger36 I heard. I meant to say was COPS cant give their OWN families get out of jail free cards when their family breaks the law. Why would OP give their thieving aunt for stealing just because she's family for an OBVIOUS crime! Taking the computer and not telling ANYONE for months?! I mean what the hell!!
If a nephew or cousin of mine stole my Pokemon Cards and hid it from me for MONTHS I would have done the same disregarding the fact that they're family!
Kinda disappointing that even her own mother didnt support him. Kinda get a glimpse of what kind of parents they are
She was most likely in on it.
Op has an awful mother who thinks that her sister who got caught stealing doesn’t deserve jail time and community service she is literally saying “family can take stuff but not go to jail because they are family”. I would tell my mom that she is supporting her family stealing from me and she is just as bad as my aunt.
Please say what story you mean
@@littleowl3045 If you think about it,If you fight back then there is really nothing they can do. Its not like theyre gonna shoot you for not being obidient unless your family is a mafia or something
Bro is it a He or a her
1st Story. Can't believe that OP's own family members say that he's in the wrong when his Aunt stole his computer. Like WTF
His family is hella toxic so to be honest I say that he should cut contact with them
Seriously, pulling the “wE aRe fAmiLy” card doesn’t work on me either.
On the first - good for that kid in filing that police report and calling the cops later. Given what the aunt’s punishment was, he was definitely right for doing that. Shame on the mom for acting that way too.
Story #1: From the sounds of it, this ie a gaming pc which definitely isn't cheap and can easily cost thousands of dollars depending on the internal components. Also holding onto someone's property for months without their knowledge and lying about not knowing what happened to it is not "borrowing", it's theft plain and simple. Being related to somebody isn't an excuse to commit crimes against them and feel entitled to get away with it. You can't treat your family members like shit and expect them to be an important part of their lives smh.
Story #4: That is not your friend.
Stealing from someone and getting away with it is not borrowing. If you wanted to borrow someone's item, you could just ask permission. You spitting facts bro.
I agree with you and after this incident I think the aunt is finally going to teach that spoiled brat that he can't always one up everyone and that you have appreciate what you have in life.
Also if the extended family is fed with this behavior of the cousin's why would they message the original poster saying he is in the wrong for pressing charges against his aunt.
Story 1: when I was young, I was taught that stealing is bad, no matter the reason, also, borrowing without telling the owner then act like not knowing about it when asked is pretty much equals stealing. In my opinion, the entitled cousin should also be in the detention for being partner in crime, or he was the reason for the crime, that is. The problem with people living in a "Freedom" country is that because it's free, they think they could do whatever they want without considering the consequences.
One thing I hate about families like that is it's always 'But we're family!' when they're in the wrong but not when someone else is in the wrong, i.e the 'it doesn't matter as much, I'm your family' only applies to them.
Lesson learn always lock your bedroom door before leaving your house or room
In the last story, the wife is cheating on him, the guy should divorce her immediately.
The fact that family would steal something that expensive is crazy
Story #5: Forget the counseling! It's over! Most likely, all the marriage counselor would do is just blame the husband anyway! She does NOT regret it! The fact that she keeps coming up with different excuses should make it clear that she's lying! I'd bet anything, and say that she's just playing with him, and using him!
I agree, the OP telling the wife to remove the other guy from social media does nothing, she could have other ways of contacting him like texting emailing or other social media accounts, if she didn't already cheat she soon will do
The last story: no the man is not a jerk. That girl is playing mind games with him and obviously is trying to cheat on him. No counseling can save that relationship. My advice is just divorce her and evict her from your home. Before she ends up hurting you more in the future.
Story 1: Such entitlement on the spoiled cousin’s part.
Never in the wrong when you hold idiots accountable for their shenanigans, name it them stealing, breaking something or any of the sort
Story1, nope my guy u r not in the wrong~
u bought that computer with ur money, u have all the right to be angy and call the cops on thy aunt~
and those peeps who said that ur in the wrong, well clearly they play favorites~
*you didnt have to call the cops, because she's family* i assume what those relatives have in mind.
Given that he and the brat cousin are in high school, he didn’t have to call the police, just stuff the kid in a locker daily after that. No cops, so the family can’t complaint right.
The word "borrow" means you use another person's item for a couple minutes or hours. And if you wanted to borrow you need to ask the owner of it first. So clearly the aunt wasn't borrowing.
Even though I live alone, every single electronic device I have is passworded.
The audacity
Normally, I would think that this was a bit over the top but op saved up for 2 years and I sure as hell press charges
First story: You are not in the wrong. For months your computer had went missing, your aunt didn't say anything. But to say she was borrowing it,that's bull corn. And your mom,she don't have to jump on you.
You are never, *not ever* in the wrong for calling the cops on someone who stole from you. This is doubly true when something valuable is involved, such as a high end computer.
When he said the pc was on the side...it hurt...it hit a spot i didn't know I had
First story the op is definitely not a jerk and it sounds like his mom is just as entitled as his aunt
Story 1: Yeah my family is not that special that I wouldn't call the police on. Especially if it's a computer over 600 bucks. Even 600 is pushing it. Don't touch my stuff. If you wanna borrow my shit ask. And don't take my expensive shit out... 😒 🙄 😤
Thank you no one in my family seems to know that they can't touch my things and take them without permission also my em accuses me of stealing my things when they belong to me in the first place am I the jerk
No, you are not the jerk. I would say get a lock on your room that only you have the key for so nobody can rummage through your items and act like your the jerk for not wanting other people. Touching and messing with your stuff
That kid in the first story needs to remain as far away fro their family as possible.
So that last guy seems to be complaining that his wife isn't sleeping with him more than once a week. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA sorry dude, that's actually better than many married couples.
n the last story i have the same problem and hearing this made me MAD but also sympathetic bc this person should still wear what she loves
so "renting" computer for over 3 months only costed $250?
The story about the Op with incontinence issues hits home with me. I too wear adult diapers . I have bowel incontinence which is worse then bladder issues IMO. I would tell Op not to be embarrassed.
I don't know why but I love listening to these
"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING??"
"What do you think I'm doing?😎😎😎"
love that so much
Third story: You're the other guy...
Last story: op means her house, it's hers now if they don't have a prenup. There was little Karen in that comment "it was my house before we did get married" Well, he will learn soon and alimony, lets not forget alimony.
Story 1: Based on the reaction that OP's mom had once her sister's crime was made apparent, it makes wonder if she actually knew that said bitch really did steal from OP, or that she agreed to let the computer be "borrowed" in OP's place...
s1; tell the family that if ANYTHING goes missing, you are immediately calling the police and forcing charges on aunt first as well as calling CPS on aunt as she isnt able to handle children. Tell YOUR mother that the next time she complains about you calling the police you will let aunt take anything she wants from mother's stuff when she is out.
1st story
God, if someone took my console I would be furious. I spend ages on it and to have it taken would be crushing. And the OP’s family saying he was in the wrong obviously don’t know the situation because the OP says that his mum called his aunt to ask if she knew where it was, so either this means the mum was in on it with the aunt or she denied stealing it. Both of these options are valid because the mum also screamed what are you doing when she came out of the house and the OP was calling the police. This story is just terrible. These are the kids who grow up to haggle a price down slightly at Starbucks for a £1.35 cup of coffee. Disgusting
I would say the first OP is never the jerk, I mean, they stole something, I almost lost my games way back when, and the thief almost got away and I would have never seen the games again, were my parents not there to call the police, as they got the culprit, since then, I am wary of people borrowing my stuff, so I believe the first OP is never gonna be a jerk!
Last Story: sorry but that relationship is dead in the water, get rid of her and cut your losses
Story 1, oh yeah Karma strikes again
Why do they never call the cops IMMEDIATELY when they find things missing?
Depends what it is, I’m not gonna call 999 if I can’t find my phone but if my fridge goes missing I’d call 999
@@weldawoolda9832 you CANT call 911 if you can't find your phone.. haha
@@dghfgdhfdfghdhfgLand lines. They still exist. I still have one.
@@weldawoolda9832WHO TF IS STEALING YOUR FRIDGE?
The voices are getting better 🤣🤣🤣
Borrowing without asking is immediately called stealing. How does his aunt not know that
The rent girl what did she do before he moved in? He needs to pay because he can afford it crap. If the situation were reversed would she pay? She can ask no harm in that. She should have discussed terms and house rules before he moved in. If he pays rent she cannot evict him without legal eviction. Relationships go bad.
For the first one I understand what he was feeling and no he wasn't the jerk for taking back what was his
Me every time I here all of these😳😳😳😳
Definitely not the jerk
First story is why I have a lock on everything. Won't stop a determined criminal, but an entitled dumbass will just have a pricey brick.
I’m fighting every single one of them saying that you’re wrong for getting justice
Who needs enemies when you have family
First story : not a jerk.
Story 1- NTA
Story 2- meh
Story 3- NTA, leave her behind bro
Story 4- ESH, maybe he’s just tired period and try to surprise him with stuff anything
How are you “in the wrong”?
You are 100% in the right. The punishment does not suit the crime.
*"Entitled Aunt"* in *Story 1* is definitely the jerk, stealing OP's computer and lying about why they did.
Aunt: bOrRowIng WiThoUt asKinG iSn’T eVeN StEaLinG.
Yeah, and arresting isn’t even a punishment. It’s the cops telling you to take a break.
1 story the op not the jerk for calling the cops
Second story : the dude who makes more should pay the rent by splitting the rent.
Bro cant read her mind
The aunt should be glad that she didn't get a few years in prison
Imagine stealing something from someone then saying they are in the wrong like what if the aunt stole someone’s car would she be in the wrong?
What kind of "small city" takes a 3 hour drive together to thr other side
If they steal a computer or something Call the cops
Aunt got what she deserved! She would have also gotten a lot worse if she had tried that crap with me!
If your boyfriend ain't able to triple or spend money on this relationship of yours if he is this probably the relationship you want to have think about this for a minute
I actually fight for people who have a disability or handicap because I myself have both and hv had several people discriminate me.
Love ur vids man, awesome,I’m just thinking how common it is to get something like that
Story 1:
I would just be like "oh, so you wouldnt mind if i took your car right? No permission needed, because what your telling me is that thats okay to do, right?"
Honestly is what anybody else would do. you should have at least asked them if they Could borrow it and don't even bring it to your place Go over there house and play it
Bladder story- OP's condition is nothing to be embarrassed about, and most women and men over sixty have some degree of this problem, but if OP in in her twenties I can feel her pain. The roommate's power in this situation is because OP doesn't want anyone to know that she wears diapers, however sleek an minimally noticeable they may be.
The answer is to NOT be embarrassed if someone knows, to be upfront. "Excuse me, I have a bladder problem and when I need to go it's an emergency", and then get thee to the toilets. If roommate makes a snide remark, just loudly ask why she is talking about your neurogenic bladder as if it is something to be ashamed of. Take away her power of you wanting to keep it a secret.
you did right to call the plice on your entitled aunt
story 1 : dam i cannot belive the audacity of some people
DUDE i cannot tell you how mad i’d be just getting something stolen but MY THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS PC?? FOR MONTHS???? dude i’d be going batshit crazy
That aunt is ridiculous and should have payed a whole new pc. Who knows what that entitled kid had been doing. I would probably take the computer and also the x box for the price of my silence.
I would have cut contact with everybody that told me I’m in the wrong for sending her to jail
I would of done the same thing and called the cops on my family or friends just to teach them a lesson.
I didn’t know entitled people even existed :(
1st story: if that ever happend to me i would have drop kicked my aunt and my cousin and start yelling at them both calling them bad names and swearing at them saying things that i dont even wanna say, my device is my safe space and i dont want it stolen i would have absolutely flipped a lid on them if they said i was in the wrong
no man your not in the wrong cause family members shouldnt be stealing from you your aunt is the one in the wrong its just that your mom doesnt know
My favorite video so far
Story 3, partner may have wanted more.
Lmaooo he locked his aunt up 😂😂😂. That’s what she gets though 😂😂😂
I couldnt tell you where but I’ve heard this story before
Would the family still be acting like oh well its just an XBOX if OP broke in and borrowed the kids XBOX?
Story 1: Had this been in Saudi Arabia, that "borrowing" would turn out very bad for her!
Most of the other problems in this post can be dealt by being patient... I mean, if someone did bad things to you, just be patient; and be frank if they ask or confront you. That's your chance to say it to their face!
Also, if someone make more money than you, but still expects you to pay for them... maybe they're testing you! If you cannot handle the pressure of paying for them now, they'll assume that later in life, you'd desert them if they're unable to provide sustenance.
No, the first OP is in NO WAY the "jerk". That is theft, and that whole "just borrowing it" is bs.
🤦🏼♂️that’s messed up aunt and cousin
Story 1 they should have got more penalties and the child should have 3 hours of community service at least
Definitely not. Would your mum be ok if you stole. Well done on you for being responsible. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Beyond definitely got the lightest of Taps on the wrist because your average decently built gaming computer can run well over $10,000
I Legit though the thumbnail text said "MY SON IS EATING YOUR COMPUTER!"
That New computer is now second hand, I would have been demanding a brand new replacment, and the cousin should have been charged aswell, theft is theft there are no excuses!
How the hell do you and your friends live in the same city, yet your 3 hours away from each other?
The last story: It's clear that she doesn't actually love you like a true partner should. Those feelings have been established from her prior actions. If anything, with that being said, the two should divorce.
With the guy hating his job.
It sounds like he's sick of repeating the same boring tasks every day. I'm the same way, it's part of why I got in to private security. Shit could be normal one day and the next day, you're helping law enforcement do a search for a missing person.
Stuff where random, unexpected things can happen seem like they'd be more up his alley.
I have a Asus republic of gaming desktop, I would make sure that that aunt Would have gotten her Kid taken away If my aunt did That crap seriously
Tell him he needs to pay rent, and pay him bills.
If he has a issue with paying rent, tell him to leave
Leave her leave her leave her
4:15 of course not bruh 😂
My situation was kinda the opposite of story 2. My ex is someone that texted with me a lot but she wouldn't agree to see me in person over the summer
