Every time one of these stories come up, I'm always wondered, "Why not just pull out the receipt?" My wife has a great habit of always taking the receipt and putting it in her wallet. She never just lets the cashier put it in the bag. What did the woman think? He wouldn't have receipt? There wouldn't be cameras in the store showing him buying it? The clerk (a potential witness) would forget her? If they actually believed her, that the police wouldn't take the PS5 as evidence? There might even have been traffic cameras showing what happened. It's 2022, how did she expect to get away with that?
the receipt is more then enough to prove that the op had rightfully bought it, and that Karen was making so many excuses just to keep herself out of trouble when getting that ps5

And she went back to just talking about possibly TR content. She's a diehard Classic TR fan girl. But that's what happened.
Rules for buying a PS5 1. Don't go alone 2. If the store has the capability of printed and emailed receipts use it 3. If you have a banking app on your phone, use it and/or the physical receipt 4. If legal, go armed. Karens, like any other predator will go for weak prey. If they think or know potential prey can or will appreciably defend themselves or the risk outweighs the reward, they'll move on to easier prey. I would say, “I am glad I got an Xbox” but then I heard a story about a Karen trying to steal that console from an elderly lady, by the end of it Karen got sent to jail. Even Nintendo Switch users aren’t safe from Karens. A Karen’s hellspawn tried to steal a Nintendo Switch from op at the gym and the Karen threatened to call the cops on op when he got his Switch back. OP had parental lock on the Switch which provided the evidence that Karen’s son was a thief. OP got his Switch back and Karen got banned from the gym and charged for theft. The moral of the story, buy your own consoles and don’t steal Karen.
Story 4, We own 1/4 of a Mtn where we built our custom home. Our Mtn connects with another Mtn which 9 of us own. The Mtn which 9 of us own is a private Mtn. Anyone is welcome to hike, take their quads, motorcycles, horses, etc as long as they have permission from one of the owners. The trail head is less than 100 feet from our front door. 3 summers ago while hiking, almost to the summit came 3 teenagers ripping up our trails with their motorcycles. I stopped them and asked who gave them permission to be on the Mtn. (The owners nor our guests tear up our trails bc we have a maintain them so everyone is safe and the spring run off is navigated down the Mtn to keep the owners homes safe from water damage). The Entitled teenagers got in my face and said that they could ride wherever they wanted. I reminded them of the No Trespassing sign at the trail head. The cocky one said, that it was an old sign and they had the right to ride wherever they wanted. In a stern voice I told them that this Mtn belonged to me and they were trespassing and they had to leave. The Cocky one said that not me or God or anyone could make them leave. With that they tore off. I promptly called the Sheriffs department and started back down the Mtn. A few minutes before getting to the trail head, they rode past me and flipped me off laughing. Upon arriving at the trail head, the Sheriff was detaining them. I pressed charges for trespassing and all their tags on their motorcycles had expired. Their motorcycles were impounded and they were arrested for trespass. Their parents were pissed off, but there was nothing they could do bc they didn’t know which house was actually mine. Needless to say those brats never came back and word got out that our Mtn was off limits. Up until that time we have caught other teenagers with dirt bikes and motorcycles trespassing, but left as soon as they were notified that they were trespassing. We haven’t had any problems since then.
The third story. Yeah....... thats a lot to take in at the moment. It's said that when alcohol is involved. Your true intentions are brought up. Maybe unconsciously OP might want more between the two of them and alcohol just brought that out. So yeah the two of them maybe at a coffee shop or whatever public spot should sit and have a chat about things.
In the area where I live you ignore a no trespassing sign you run the risk of being shot but that depends on who the property belongs to. For me I would give them a chance to leave on their own but if they refuse then I’ll fire a warning shot if they still don’t leave I will call the cops on them
I never understood that, like, why is it when you got two people who are such great friends, have a lot in common and all that, dont share a mutual love for one another, why does that end up ruining the friendship? Like, dont you think that if someone thought you were so awesome that they'd want to potentially be with you forever, even if the answer is no, then that would just make the friendship stronger?
I was lucky enough to find a PS5 at a GameStop in our Mall. It was my Older Brother’s Birthday so we went out for breakfast then decided to go around our GameStops because he wanted to buy Splatoon 3. Then my dad wanted to preorder the New Call of Duty so we went to the Mall GameStop and as we are looking around a guy came in to return a PS5 that he bought for his brother as a house warming present but found out his brother had already bought it. So I asked if he was going to return it and offered to buy it off his hands since my Dad has been wanting one for a while. Best Purchase I have made this Year with amazing timing!
This Karen is got about 3 years to figure out whether it was really worth it to get a PlayStation 5 I have been alive for 62 years and I have never been to prison except for a field trip I had when I was maybe 10
As a Christian myself I can understand both sides of the last story but I ultimately have to side with the boyfriend. The girl was too young and immature to understand that just because she had found faith doesn't mean that her 'chosen partner' can or is ready to. My two cents is the boyfriend needs to break it off with the girl and if he still has feelings for her in 3-5 years then try to casually contact her, but don't get his hopes up, cause she does sound very controlling.
That's not always true just because the parents are mean and entitled doesn't necessarily mean the children are as well that only happens maybe about 10 to 12% of the time
As a Christian myself, I don’t believe the last one is toxic per se. As Christians, we are warned in the Bible not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers. This is because of both religious and practical reasons and differences in beliefs. (Eg, what if they had kids and she wanted to raise them in church and he didn’t.). From her perspective, if she’s a new Christian and still learning what that means, she may have just realized that she may be “unequally yolked,” and try to reconcile both her new faith and her relationship. However, you can’t force someone to become a Christian, that’s not how it works. She can do her best to help influence him, but ultimately she can’t change his heart or what he believes, and she should consider whether she wants to continue a serious relationship with someone who has very different beliefs and values. That’s could definitely cause some serious conflict in the future.
Church girlfriend isnt toxic, this is a common tactic used in religion. The church pulls members, makes them feel loved and welcome, but also tries to excommunicate anyone related to them unless they convert. Isolating her overseas was their final push to get her away from the op, and its sadly working. The church structures are extremely toxic towards those that refuse to join, all while expounding that they should show love to all (obviously excluding anyone not in their strict rules)
Last story: Mhh. Toxic? Maaaybe. But as a catholic I can also see her perspective in this. If you truly believed that those who don't believe in God go to hell to be tortured and burned for all eternity, wouldn't you then be a supreme asshole if you didn't try to get your friends and family to believe?
Story 5: as a Christian myself I feel obligated to shed a little light on why she is acting the way she is. It’s common knowlage (at least in the groups I’m part of) that if you date/surround yourself with people that are against your religion it will only pull yourself away from your beliefs, but by the sound of this she hasn’t told him about this. I feel like she needs to sit down and talk this out with him.
Story 1: I would be FUMING if someone tried to steal my Switch. Also letting children play on it is out of the question bc my Switch has two PEGI-18 rated games on it (The House of The Dead: Remake and South Park: The Fractured but Whole if you lot were curious). On a side note, I may be VERY MUCH a Nintendo person (Switch, 3DS XL, DS) but i rlly want a PS2 so i can play Altered Beast (reboot) and Vampire Night. If you're curious about what format my adult Switch games are, HoD: Remake is in physical retail (game card) form and SPFBW is in digital download (purchased from eShop) form.
The religion thing? Yeah. That's not a toxic thing. If she believes the Bible, it clearly states "do not yoke yourselves together with non believers", meaning no relationships with non christians.
On the religion aspect, I must disagree. It's not her being toxic. Some denominations of chelristianity go pretty strongly on the verse that states "do not yoke yourselves together with non believers", which in some interpretations means to not get married to a non Christian. Thus this is about her faith, not her control. In this case, it would be toxic of you to disrespect her beliefs, so in essence it is a choice. Is having her be your partner worth a little discomfort? The best option in my opinion is to tell her you will start going and see what happens. Test the waters and sit through a few services. Decide whether it would be worth continuing in order to keep the relationship. Who knows, you may change your mind, you may not.
In story 6, i'm sorry, but it's either the boyfriend or her religion, and she has to choose, she can't force him. However, she isn't wrong in looking to be with someone with the same belief system she has. The OP doesn't want to join christianity, and that's ok, he's a free man. But he either breaks up with her now and she will have to end up breaking up with him. For a christian, being with someone of the same faith and practices is really important.
What is the most dumb thing every entitled Karen or person (and i mean entitled like the want your stuff and you won’t give to so they throw a fit and call the cops entitled and not the I have back problems or I have a mental illness so this or I have to sit here entitled but are nice people ) to throw a fit and get the cops in store with cameras it’s dumb why do they do it for attention.
It's not toxic. It's religion and a faith. They are simply incompatible and should break up. Religion isn't some "pick and choose" thing, despite what a lot of people think. People of faith believe God's word is law. She's healthy enough to realize that religious differences will mean the relationship can't work in the long term.
For the guy whose girlfriend wants him to commit to her faith - I see nothing wrong with this. The Bible said that we should be equally yoked. In other words, she needs to be with a Christian. If he can't be that for her, then it's best they part ways. That is not in the least bit toxic.
I mean sad to say that I don't think that's how God will see it as I believe he agrees with Love being just that love and he would accept anyone no matter what their religion is
Believe what u will but it’s extremely toxic to force someone to convert just because u have. Nothing wrong with being with someone of the same faith as u say, but in the op’s situation he was already with her when she converted so if she wanted someone of same faith she should’ve just left not force her current bf to convert.
@@shadowfan115 bro, he is literally referencing the Bible. To put it in other term, you basically saying that Stan Lee thinks that Spider-Man sucks and he shouldn’t have been created. I mean the GF could’ve been a lot more considerate here but I feel like nobody is trying to look at it from her point of view and trying to understand why she’s doing what she’s doing.

I'm just happy that I have a ps3
what call of duty did he mentioned vanguard or cold war
Last story run op dint get roped into a cult
Good night
Story 5 as a Christian myself I can say that woman is not in the right at all
I'm a Catholic and if I wanna marry someone that's not in my religion then they have to agree to the rules in my religion
Not to be a jerk, but “Trespassers will get shot” 😅
It's funny how there's no evidence of that happing
16:49 *women* 🍵☕
You should make a girl voice for the female version
Which cod?
The religion thing? Yeah. That's not a toxic thing. If she believes the Bible, it clearly states "do not yoke yourselves together with non believers", meaning no relationships with non christians.
Ugh, BMW drivers in the first story. I know it's a stereotype but why do BMW drivers tend to be such obnoxious Karens?
What is the name of the game in the video?
How does he do the Karen voice?
What is the most dumb thing every entitled Karen or person (and i mean entitled like the want your stuff and you won’t give to so they throw a fit and call the cops entitled and not the I have back problems or I have a mental illness so this or I have to sit here entitled but are nice people ) to throw a fit and get the cops in store with cameras it’s dumb why do they do it for attention.
Fun fact. You don't have to tell people how much you make
I would've sold the PS5 to her. Lol double the money. Plus, we all know Xbox is better.
1. The time you’d put into finding a PS5 is not worth the money. 2. Don’t bring “this console is better” into this, the console wars ending long ago
@@Legithiro it's just a console, he could've got his PC upgraded with that money.
it doesn't matter, the way she was acting, was straight up entitlement.

Sorry, better luck next time
@ Legithiro you think you’re first?

No
It's not toxic.
@@Legithiro we are is the issue I'm Catholic and even I wouldn't force my significant other to become Catholic I don't care about what their religion is unless it's satanism as ok no
