I dont really like the design of the turret of K2... a real grenate catcher. I see much problems in long term service of the K2 because they have to changed the german Gear and engine to korean components and the korean gear made a lot of problems. And.... the Leopard 2 can use the new Rheinmetall turret with 130mm which was build for upgrade the Abrams, Challenger 2 and Leopard 2. The K2 cannot. And there a lot of parameters that the K2 cannot beat the Leopard. The old Leopard concept is still 40 years after get in service much more ready for future than the relativ new K2. K2 is a good alternate for small and little armies who have not so much budget and want a lot of tanks therefore but K2 is no future or next generation tank.

The field test in the Norway in 2021 is proven for K2 Black pander with the better and the more performances and qualities between K2 and Leo 2a7.
