Hey Arthur, hope you're doing well! Was wondering what percentage that grade is at the 23:17 mark? I've seen that before in your other videos but haven't thought to ask before.
That very short section is I am sure 2% This track became necessary so we could have trains run continuously on the top level in a loop. This level when first put in was all level. When train passed on main you could not see them behind the yard so Elevated it 2.5 inches. allowing the main, siding, and Service track to be visible .
No like box cars we do allow engineer to open doors. Lots of ways to play this part of the game. We do not move loads. IE pulpwood. Car is what it is. The coal trains are not in Jmri. We have a loaded trains and empty trains. They are restaged if we have big op session. All are welcome to come Visit in SE La. Going to do some videos on way we work of Friday.
@@arthurhouston3 Thank you for your answer, I'll be starting to operate in a month or two so I don't know yet how the cars will be moving. Thanks also for your videos I started watching when I inquired about JMRI OPS . Last but not least , thanks for the invitation though it will be a bit tough to get there from Jersey 😄HA!HA!
@@arthurhouston3 Thanks, I'll be watching. You're one of the RUclips people I watched to get started in JMRI ops Pro. I may be running by May. Fingers crossed.
@@bobainsworth5057 This Friday going to do a video of why this specific train how it was created and why. Feel if people do not get the concept of how rr's operate they will not be able to create trains in JMRI.
Thank you for the tour of a fantastic looking layout, and for the operational side as well, have a great day.

In JMRI do you have a load assigned to every car, so when it's " loaded" the computer can use it for any industry that needs that load?
