This isn't a bug, it's clearly a feature to represent dead soldier's ghosts who refuse to abandon their post, they can't kill and are already dead, but due to their great will, they can manifest to defuse and plant bombs. Yes isonzo is a horror game
I once experienced on fior the "armistice bug" as i had dubbed it, it's very similar to what you described but it applied to EVERYONE, and everyone was visible
On release there was a similar bug where an unkillable soldier could break objects and plant bombs, but he was visible. Btw In Tannenberg and Verdun also has a similar rare bug with an invisible soldier, fortunately there he can not do anything and abuse even dishonest people is impossible. I hope this bug will be fixed in Isonzo.
I had this bug earlier except I could be seen. I spent the game trying to act like a German while clearly dressed in Italian attire, but I would stand beside them and shoot towards my teammates so eventually they stopped trying to kill me and I just watched them. Ended up getting hate messages for it but it was an interesting experience.
You gain xp by different means, not just from killing enemies. Play the engineer as the deffender or officer overall, but I would not recomend that you play something just to level over all faster. You should play the classes you enjoy!

I have also experienced that once or twice, had it even recorded but I am not sure if I showed it or not.
Same happened to me, I was defusing during this bug the bomb, that enemies planted every time. (And also, we won).
Once in a live Match there was a soldier that was able to do the same things that you described but we saw him.

Now I will look forward to get this bug, so I can leave map and explore all beautiful landscape without being shot for desertion.

It is interesting to experience, indeed but it should not be exploited like how it was in my video.
Can u tell me how u need to play to get high scores like 4000 points ? What gives best xp ? What classes are best for that?

Does it go away if you just redeploy?
Rejoining works, I have tried it. I am not sure for just redeploying, I guess it should.
