Too Good. What a Sparkling Performance this is! Nisha's Lovely Voice is something special as it has got the natural texture of projecting the Brigaas & Gamakams quite strikingly as her GaNeer Voice has an edge with the Sound Syllable "GA"ndhaaram. She was in such a fine form that enthralled the listeners with a continuous flow of so many lovely Raagaas from the Opening Sarasaangi thru Devamridhavarshini, Mandari, Dhanyasi, Brindavana Saaranga (for her favourite Dikshitar Kriti Soundararajam) and a detailed Kambodhi till the very end. Manoj Siva's Gentle percussion score has a beauty that easily catches our attention in the very beginning itself for the Opening Krithi Jayajaya Padmanabha. Seasoned Violinist H N Bhaskar invariably makes his violin sings and in this Concert his essay of Mandari for the Kriti Paraloka bhayamu followed by Dhanyasi was too good. Mandari sounds like Hamsanandhi & Sunada Vinodhini. A relaxed essay of Saaveri Virutham- Kasturi Tilakam - followed by Dharbari for the song Govardana Giridharaa was a Divinely rendition indeed!

A superlative concert by vidhushi nisha rajagopal. Being a senior artist, she acquits herself creditably to establish the reputation through her sweet voice, good selection of kritis, diction, swaraprayogams 👍 Starting with a sweet sarasAngi (jaya jaya padmanabha) she followed up with devAmrutavarshini (evareni) then a mandAri (paraloka bhayamu) a soulful dhanyasi (meenalochana) beauty of brindavana saranga (soundararAjam) - the above two are vidushi's choice ragas!(how come simmendra madhyamam got missed 🤔)The main was a 'regal kambhoji' (tiruvadi sharanam) darbari kanada (govardana giridhara - starting with a slokam in sAvEri) yamunakalyani (gayati vanamali) and winding up with 'vande mAtaram' 👏 The violin support by Vidwan HN Bhaskar was excellent. His dhanyasi and kambhoji needs special mention. The percussion support by Vidwan Manoj siva (mridangam) and Vidwan BS Purushottaman (ganjira) with their deft touches was soothing 👍
