- So a friends 2019 mustang gt got the roush axle back installed a few weeks ago and now he is stepping it up a little more with the Roush x pipe to delete the hated resonator that these cars come with from factory. Here is a little install and review of the car. Let me know what you think!

I have this setup and let me tell you...Hot Diggity. I went through 3 different exhausts, resonators and pipes etc before I found this combination. This is the winner. It just sounds awesome at idle. When you're in line at the drive through you'll get plenty of attention just blipping the gas to pull up. It doesn't sound loud for the sake of being loud, it sounds mean with the horsepower to back it up. And you can also cruise at highway speeds without it being super annoying. I just love it. I do keep an eye for police though because if you get on it, it's definitely screams.
Agree 100% loud enough but not ugly loud. And the cops would definitely be all over this one haha
Just bought the Roush X pipe earlier today after seeing this video. I already have the Roush axle back exhaust on my 17’ Grabber Blue GT and I can’t wait!

Had an xPipe, no cats, and Roush axlebacks on my 13GT. Now I have an 18GT. With the higher compression I’m sure that setup would be nutz. I think I’ll try long tubes catted, the xPipe and the axlebacks. If too nutz then I’ll toss on a resonator. Just love the sound produced by the Roush axlebacks. Fantastic.

just recently got a 16 GT Premium and the first mod was the full Roush cat-back and loving it...ford performance power pack 2 will be my next mod some time this week.

Never thought I'd say this. I might buy this x pipe. Got the same set up on cat back but with roush h pipe. Sounds really good but I think I want to try the x.

Sounds great. I'm debating whether to get a double helix x pipe from corsa and removing my mishimoto h pipe.
I heard the double x sounds pretty good. They made a double h now as well
A little to much raspy bark when people take out the resonator for the xpipe. If I do this mod... it’ll be with the Borla Switchfire X pipe. But I’m not sold on the exhaust note with the res delete. Plus I definitely do not want drone. I also have a Roush tune on my mustang and it crackles and pops.
This one isn't tuned yet. There wasn't any drone while I drove it but it was also only a short drive so I cant really guarantee that. But it's definitely loud
Canadian Cruisin loud and obnoxious doesn’t do it for me... especially when you don’t have the HP to back it up. Then it’s just a lot of noise... like a little dog barking at the big dogs 😂. The Roush tune on mine came with the phase 2 supercharger upgrade.... but hey... whatever blows your hair back

I have the h pipe with Black Roush axel backs but mine pops when I rev past 4K his seems too soo quiet compared to mine lol
His pops when driving but not so much just reving it

Where in Canada are you from? Have you ever been pulled over by a cop with this sound or had an issue with your MVI?
I'm in BC and haven't had any issues with police yet🤞

SUPER nervous about having it THAT much louder with the Roush axle back. I loooooove how it sounds but i live in an apartment and don’t have active exhaust 🤣🤣🤣

I have Ford x pipe instead and it sounds louder than this and I think I need more loud 😔😂 might get arh headers next

Tiny bit when accelerating but when your cruising it's all quiet

Originally he just wanted the h pipe but after hearing my car he decided to go up one more notch haha.

Extremely obnoxious!! My neighbors hate my 2018 with BBK long tube headers with this same setup with e85 lund tune. Loud as F😁

Eibach lowering springs and spacers on the back only.
What size spacers are he running on the rear?

How hard is it to put the resonator back on, if you sawed it off to put a X/H pipe on ?
It would fit perfectly but would need to be welded back on. Or find a clamp that would work to clamp the pipes back together

I have Roush axle back and stock resonator. I want a more deeper tone so I'm thinking of getting a H pipe, but I'm scared it's going to make my system too loud.
What do you think ?

I Think Corsa Is Way Better, I Used To Like Roush, Don’t Get Me Wrong, Roush Is Loud, But It’s In Between The Sexy Purr Of Borla And The Loud Ass Corsa. My Friend Has A 2015-2017 Metallic Gray Mustang Running With Roush Axlebacks, And That Mf Was Loud You Were Still Able To Hear It After It Left
I Think Corsa Extreme Catback Sounds Much Better TOO Than Roush but This Car Doesn't Sound too bad at All for a budget friendly build :)
It was definitely louder than I was expecting. Crazy how much a little resonator can make a difference
@@Texas_C8 the corsa is pricey but sounds great. This is pretty close though.
Police looking vehicles give me little heart attacks when I am harmlessly enjoying a spirited drive too.
