Today's menu is 'Shakshuka', A.K.A 'Eggs in hell' or 'Eggs in purgatory'.
The word shakshuka is a Maghrebi Arabic term for "a mixture", and like its name there are A LOT of variations to this dish.
As long as you keep the 'poached eggs in tomato sauce' format, you can pretty much add any ingredient you want.
Have it with some crusty bread or flat bread for a quick brunch.
Recipe:
Egg: 3
Grated Cheese: 1 Handful
Tomato Puree: 400mL
Olive Oil: 1 Tbsp
Garlic: 3 Cloves
Onion: 1
Bell Pepper: Half
Parsley: 1 Handful
Salt: 0.5 tsp
Black Pepper: 1 Pinch
Cumin Powder: 0.5 tsp
Cayenne Pepper: 0.5 tsp
Smoked Paprika: 1 tsp

I’m glad the internet is finally catching up to how good Shakshuka is! I’ve been making it for years with my family and it’s lovely to see more people finding this dish.

This recipe is quite similar with a Turkish breakfast dish called Menemen. All the ingredients are the same, just the difference is we're beating the eggs before mixing all of the ingredients 😀👍 By the way it is sooo delicious guys try it as soon as possible 😋

In México we have a dish like this called "Huevos ahogados", or drowned eggs in english, instead of using bell pepper and tomato puree we use a tomato sauce that can be as spicy as you want it to be, and you can use a variety of chiles so that your sauce tastes different every time. I'll try this recipe tho, it looks delicious 😋

@@beezzinha vegetarians eat products like Butter,Milk,Cheese etc. Not egg or Gelatin. Vegans don't consume any kind of animal product. Not even milk. Hope that clarifies

Food looks great! One suggestion for other people looking to make this: you may not want to use a cast iron pan for this because they are reactive to the acidity in the tomatoes and can leach some metallic flavors into your food. Maybe use stainless steel or aluminum instead.

Shakshuka is are pretty classic Arabic/Middle Eastern kinda food and as someone who lives in the middle east, some people eat this stuff daily, again tho, the editing skills are bangin
Nice one. To take it to the next level, try with fresh or good quality tinned whole tomatoes instead of pre-made sauce.
