Tie on a bobber stop or put the cork below your splice to the floro to act a the bobber stop. It's a slip bobber for a reason. Even a small swivel will work as a stop at the splice. Or ditch that popping cork all together and hook through the nostrils and free line. Good stuff, keep it up!!
The only thing with a higher hookup percentage than fishing with those greenies is Rich on his date!

Its always a good idea to keep a traditional 3" spoon along with the Rapala's and other artificials, they cast well and are usually pretty irresistible

I’ve only fished the Florida Keys from the shore once, and just south of Islamorada encountered 2 large water monitor lizards in the bushes just off the main highway. Scary moment, but they ran away very quickly indeed. The small barracuda I caught on a shrimp fly made up for it 😬

Popping corks are overlooked in regards to a bunch of bobber fishing options. They're not just for shrimp.

Rich watch those mangrove roots and branches where you laid the rod to re tie. I found out the hard way that the Bull Ants live on them and paid the price doing the same thing. They hurt man!!! I dig the same stuff. Trying to read water and find a pattern is too me the best part

You can definitely feed the fish the bait, but make sure to put it in head first. They like to orient them that way to eat them, so they're less likely to spit the bait if you have it that way for them already. I do it any time I can. The fish deserve it for giving me the honor of fighting them.
I could have watched that for 3 hours! Did not want the video to end. Nothing worse then when the mosque’s attack you by the hundreds and light you up through your shirt I have only experienced that in the mangroves you can drench yourself in repellent and they could care less
