Plenty of water and good tank treatment will avoid clogs 99% of the time. We use whatever TP we want with a good treatment, and never have issues. Since there's a tank most peoples instinct is to conserve space. They go do #1 outside or at the park bathrooms and not use extra water. It needs that fluid or the solids (poo and TP) dry out and basically become a brick. However, this method works well for this and to flush tanks.

I use a very similar set up fish my tanks every trip. Added a gallon meter and fill my tank 3/4, then drain. Repeat 3x and tank sensors usually clear up and work too.

… been flushing for a while and sensors still haven’t worked right, better but will reading 1/3 to 2/3 full when empty. $30 life saver 👍

What I do is put the water hose down the toilet as far as it will go and blast it with water. I do it for clogs as well as give a good cleaning. Works everytime for about 5 years...

Awesome, my black is clogged. Weird as I never flush toilet paper, But the last few tanks didn't put in additives to dissolve.

I have always been told the tp is bad news for the tank. So we don't use it. We use a trash can and "pressure"flush the tank.

Turns out our valve was leaking and black tank not retaining enough water, ever since we fix the valve we flush two play TP all the time and never had an issue since.
