It’s honestly insane how both Plup and Zain lost in round 1 of top 64 and ended up meeting in loser’s semis, placing top 4. Two crazy loser’s runs.
Zain and Plup kinda met their demons in the first round. Zain has a hard time against top falcons (Gahtzu was on fire) and Plup seems to have barely any problem with all matchups except for Icies. Since then they both didnt play any of their demons for the rest of the bracket. Because of all these upsets Hbox had kind of a free run to winners final
+Patooo 10/10 I agree with you about Zain, but I don’t think Plup has an Ice Climbers weakness. AFAIK he hadn’t lost to any since Pound 2016.
@@SSB_Seal im not saying plup is good at the matchup but its more like Icies are a threat to anyone. Just one grab and your stock is gone its that simple. No one is safe from the grab

Let's be honest: Zain has a falcon problem. The best he's ever done is he's barely beaten Wizzy.
While that's true, it doesn't take away from the fact that Gahtzu is just sick.
i feel like he respects falcon too much, falcon is a character so susceptible to just getting stuffed over and over, and Zain isn't just tossing out hitboxes
