Its nice to know that Megumi's Ten Shadows aren't really lost thanks to Sukuna's thoughts. Sukuna himself lost access to his version of the Ten Shadows, but Megumi still has access to his.

I read Yuji and Megumi talking like the ending to Omniman vs Mark. Instead of "you'd still have me, dad", Yuji hit him with the "it would be so lonely without you". Megumi has lost a lot, and Yuji gets it because he too has lost a lot. But then Yuji reminds him that he's important to him and that he hasn't counted him as a loss, and that Megumi would still have Yuji. Of course that implies winning against Sukuna, but in that moment, that doesn't even matter. Just that they STILL have each other, which means they at least have the option to fight, unlike everyone else they've lost.
You are so right! Both of those lines are peak "emotional damage" and just gutted me. I don't think I shed a tear for the Mark/Omni Man but I definitely did for the Yuji/Megumi scene

The Yuji-Megumi friendship dynamic is turning out to be one of my favorites. The smile Yuji gives in this chapter is reminiscent of the "my boy came through" smile Megumi gives way back in the beginning of the culling games when Yuji successfully adds a rule to the game.

Yuta took a severe risk by copying the CT of one of THE big bads of the series without fully understanding how it works (because no one knows how it works, they can only speculate). Now, the risk paid off because Yuta's Unlimited Void was absolutely needed in that moment to protect Yuji and Todo from Malevolent Shrine, but that needs to have consequences associated with it, otherwise how can it be considered a risk?

Kashimo talks are definitely back, I told people it didn’t make sense for HWB to need Constant hand signs, you pretty much only need to do it again to reinforce it or if you’re Sukuna you can continue to reinforce it the entire time.

What I absolutely love about this chapter, and that exemplifies the subtlety and delayed impact of Gege's storytelling and symbols, is that it implicitly explains why Sukuna was in his Yuji form in the previous chapter (besides the obvious "I am you" topos): because ultimately, Yuji had the same mindset (formally, not in its content) and emotional distance in relation to other people than Sukuna; Yuji talking it through with his literal mirror shows not only him renouncing to his flawed cog mentality, but also renouncing to his past self's - ultimately - uncaring and self-centred way of thinking about others, and thus finally surpassing Sukuna as he surpasses his old self.
"Yeah, I don't feel anything. I understand the words you're saying, but they don't stir any emotion. Just like you accepted this old dump of a town, I think, "Oh, so that's the case?" But, so what?"

Yuji is somewhat capable of using RCT, but he didn't regenerate his eye or fingers, which is strange.

What if Kenjaku bet all of his plan to his baby Yuji?? What if he knew Yuji would bring back Megumi that's why he inherit his will specifically to Megumi, not Sukuna. Thus, Megumi will comeback just to become that abomination of curse. Kenjaku only needed Sukuna to kill almost all of the strongest hero to decrease the odds of his plan failing.
His 2 fingers missing either have something do with with the theory of how Yuji is becoming the new Sukuna, or it has something to do with Yuji's domain. And Sukuna stops in realization about the domain.
It could also be that Yuji has made a binding vow to trade off his RCT for power. As you can tell his body is beat up, eye still bleeding and now his fingers are gone.
People reading megumi using shadows against Sukuna as him getting his will to live back, really think it’s the other way around, yuji and megumi understanding that megumi is okay with dying due to his suffering and giving yuji the clear to kill Sukuna and him, gege oh how you’ve moved me

Personally. I think Rika ate Yuji’s finger, and that’s how Yuta got the copied variation of shrine. That could also be why Yuji was wearing the claws, to conceal that fact from, Sukuna. Sukunas last finger is still in effect somehow, and apart of the main casts plan to defeat him.

Now, the finger we saw could be the one Yuji was made with, OR it could be Yuji's finger as a cursed object. For somebody who can do RCT, it is suspicious for him to be missing fingers. If he feeds a finger to Rika, he can regenerate it. So my guess is that he has intentionally done something with one of the missing fingers, that probably requires the finger staying missing as part of a Binding Vow. I am assuming here that the missing pinky from when Sukuna exited his body can't be healed because sorcerers probably can't heal injuries from before they learned RCT
Megumi not being a bum before GTA 6
Yuji's domain expansion wasn't for Sukuna, it's intended goal was to allow Yuji to converse with Megumi. Yuji couldn't physically drag Megumi out. he had to convince him to come out on his own. So Yuji pulled up one of Megumi's most defining memories and manipulated it to give Megumi hope and a very important and personal message. It was what Megumi needed to see and hear...
That comment about “I can’t tell you to keep living… but It’d be so lonely without you.” Feels very heartfelt to how depressed and suicidal people feel. We’re connected as people so I will be affected of course, but I can’t take away your right to decide what you do with your life.

My theory is that kenjaku comes back as yuta in gojo’s body due to some type of restriction he put on the technique with a binding vow or something. Kenny comes back as gojo, activates the merger, then final arc time 💯
HOLY SHIZZ NOBARA ACTUALLY HAS A CHANCE
Ok, personal theory here:
Us and Sukuna have assumed that Yuuta ysed his last Sukuna Finger to gain the Shrine Technique, but now seeing under the gountlet, we can see that his missing 2 fingers (Remember, Gege said that Yuji already was missing a finger when Sukuna used that finger to transfer himself in Megumi [Yuji was also supposed to be missing and ear], its just that Gege didn't want to bother drawing that difference each time).
That means he sacrificed another finger to Yuuta so they could keep the Sukuna Finger for a plan.
For as how Yuji was able to use the glow and form a full fist, it probably has a contraption in it that mediates for missing fingers or something. That or Gege didn't want to spoil anything or bothet drawing that detail.
To further explain why Yuuta ate the Yuji fonger is because he still has residuals of Sukuna's CE, meaning it can probably be counted as a body part of Sukuna, allowing Yuta to use the Technique, and we know this works because Yuji, with enough Black Flashes tp push him to a constant 120% of his potential, has Awakened and unlocked Shrine, probably from his soul connection with Sukuna or from the Curse Energy of Sukuna inside Yuji more or less melting with his.
i know you have said this too, kennys not gone! idk how but he will be back some how, if he showed sukuna how to split up his soul and become cursed objects maybe hes not just one brain? im desprite here, also maybe thats why he was so "week" or whatever and didnt react to yuta

I think you miss out on the real reason Yuji says that to him, he understands because he himself has been 100% broken and given up. Once was even recently, when Choso died, but the main one was when Nobara died, he straight up was about to let Mahito kill him without a fight, and in both instances, it was Todo who talked him out of it.
I wonder if the fact that Sukuna pumped all of his essense/soul into Yuji's finger will come back to bite him...
So Yuta must have had rika eat one of yuji’s fingers to get cleave. Yuji’s missing pinky is from when sukuna ripped it off and fed it to megumi, it never healed but there’s some panels after that where he has it back cuz gege forgot its supposed to be missing

I'm glad that the series is coming to conclusion cuz the fight has been dragging for so long but at the same time it's quite unfortunate that there are a lot of aspects that needs it's own chapter (i.e Heian Era, Sukuna background,, Kenjaku, Hakari v Uraume fight, etc.).
I'm hoping that in the animated series (and movie **cough** Gojo v Sukuna) that they add more episodes to address said aspects.
The people with emotional depth and empathy have been patiently waiting for the “I would be really lonely without you” moment; you can’t expect someone who has been through everything that Megumi has to simply pull themselves together at the first sight of a friend, that’s just shallow and idealistic. Megumi needs something/someone to fight for now, someone he’s close to, and just beating Sukuna for the sake of humanity, while just and righteous, is a lofty goal for someone who may not actually be sure he can accomplish that. Just as Yuji was able to empathize with Megumi’s loss and failures up to the point where he tells him that he can’t tell him to continue living, Megumi sees through Yujis eyes that once he wins, he too will be alone. At least now if he fights back they can be alone together and that’s worth fighting for.
Everyone who’s been down on Megumi “giving up” need to look past the Shonen of it all and try to understand his emotions from a realistic point of view; if you were responsible for killing your sister and father figure because you were too weak (because that’s exactly how he feels about Sukuna taking over his body to do so) and the rest of your peers and friends are fighting to the death to get you free, you may also feel hopeless and unwilling to fight. Just some food for thought.

What would be super sick is if he summons Big Maho BUT with the power of everyone of his shadow summons. Think about it he said they continue to combine when they die but Maho can't be killed permanently so maybe he's the bases for the Ultimate Ten Shadow Summon. Imagine Big Maho who's use to a lot of Sakunas attacks with all that extra power and skills. The wolves, electric own, elephant, healing deer, snake, ect. Would be super sick if that was the ultimate 10 shadow summon.😊

The last finger we saw is the one that was used to make Yuji, it will be released and force Sakuna back into Yuji bc the reason why Kenjaku made the deal with Sakuna is to take over his body if he lost now Kenjaku with his new body (Yuji/Sakuna) will activate the merger.

I think Megumi-Sukuna would be defeated by megumi returning back. The stair in the last page looks like the hole where megumi is. The finger is in the stairways which Sukuna took when he took over Megumi’s body.
After conquering it Sukuna will use Tengen to get a brand new body. Fully regenerated he will fight against Yuji and Megumi with a regenerated 10 shadows technique including mahoraga on his side.
