99 percent of people will not make it there. But 99 percent of vloggers will tell you its the best place on earth. I didnt realize the disparity until I got there and saw for myself what its really like in the fills. lets just say I am so thankful to be born in america and have my passport. I was kissing my passport on the lfight out of there and smiling for days. it was like getting out of prison.
@ there’s nothing wrong with you telling your experience. I’m just telling my experience there as well. I’m retried military and have rental properties in Hawaii, 401k, crypto portfolio. I don’t drink, smoke, or do drugs. I am not fat and like to eat healthy as possible. My experience there wasn’t good. There are others as well and I want to let them know. They’re not alone. If you listen to the bloggers all they say is that it’s this magical paradise. Red flag roggt there.
I must subscribe to your channel. Can you do at least one video out of ten in Tagalog Cebuano et cetra ? And how is it that you are a full body woman. I am not attracted to Filipinas, truth be known they are not attracted to me. I have no money and even if I had some I have no masculine magic. But I am not attracted to nearly all of them because they have the body of 11 year old children. See Uncle Jesse and Zia. So, what do you have an adult body?
Hey Sam - you are so down to earth and cover all topics, good and bad. I think you understand the American culture and the Philippine culture interaction better than most, and your talking ability is super.
Thank you for saying that. My goal is to give my personal experiences with no filter. You have great day. It's been a roller coaster month. I'll be doing my first livestream next week with a special guest.
Good video Sam. I've been to the Philippines and several other countries plenty of times while I was in the Marine Corps. I don't plan on moving there, but I love watching you and others.
Thanks guys. It's been a journey I wouldn't trade with anyone. By the way my dad was based in taipei, taiwan , back in 67 that's where he met my mom. But he also came through Clark airbase before going to Vietnam. Tha was one of the reasons I came to the Philippines. To see what clark airbase was all about.
@SamLamb2.0 I went to Clark in 1989 when it was still an Air Force base. I had a blast out in town. The strip isn't anything compared to the old days. It used to rock out in town. There's nothing out there now. I was there with my unit doing an operation and they must have brought in a lot more women for the Marines. My advice party said they really built up the population in town when the main party arrived. I'm glad you like it there. I have gone back to visit, but love my time in the states.
I've never been to the Philippines, but I've been to Thailand. I've seen many great bands in Thailand, but one day I noticed a particularly talented one in Pattaya. I found out they were from the Philippines. There are many talented bands from The Philippines and someday I want to visit that great country!
Magandag Umaga Po! Absolutely on point. I landed Jan,2020 at Mactan from LAX. I never left the Island for 6 months. Due to the you know what. (pandemic) The LGUs were so restricted to the local population. Six months of just looking at a beautiful pool. Also, not able to travel freely. The only way you could leave your condo grounds. Was to the Mercado, bank, doctors visit. It was a surreal experience. So I exercise plan B, left briefly to USA, than to Mexico. Mahal Ko Pilipinas. Maraming Salamat for sharing your life. Mabuhay
Thank you Rafael, I wish I was in the Philippines during the pandemic. I left the Philippines the day before they shut all the flights and the country down…I was stuck in the USA for almost 2yrs until they opened Philippine again.
You can't prepare for surprises in Philippines they will pop out when you least expect it. The pinay imagine you have a money growing tree. They think you are an eternal provider.
Hi Sam, great discussion. I’m planning my 2nd trip next month. You are correct, it is physically demanding with the flights and island hopping and for me the jet lag was also a big issue. Will see you soon!
Hi Sam, I'm married to a Filipina I have visited the Philippines twice, I'm in New Zealand, I loved my visit and it was an eye opener, had a great time but I could not live in the Philippines
It's hilarious how many Americans just decide to liquidate & go live there, based really on nothing more than the impression it's easy to get a young girlfriend & it doesn't snow.
If your GF got you a loan in your name while you are away, there is a feature -BLOCK BUTTON - fixes all that. Also - that is the time for upgrade, Sam. Just move on - easy.
If you go to Rome, you do as the Romans. LOL! People go there thinking they will be catered to - and it can be like that so long as your wallet will hold out. YOu gotta have a strong back for the humping - them mountains. LOL>
Phillipines is still the Wild West Brothers ! And normal non big 👄 big spenders (American) live on 40 K a month! The spoiled USA 🇺🇸 dollar ruins ! all currencies! Shame Shame Shame ....
Why do all you expats that date these little girl's in there 20ies are the one's complaining about having to support the family nev once have I heard someone married to a older have that problem
@@SamLamb2.0 I'm 65 My wife is 12 years younger not one person in her family has never asked for any help of any kind they are grown up and took care of there own business before I came into the picture

I can see that. But every time I go back to the USA. I just felt invisible.

It takes a little getting use to if you plan on staying here…but I’d rather be here than back in the USA.

You have a point, James.
I can tell you the older ones have problems too…but most of the older ones won’t leave you like the younger ones
