It seems like there is no shortage of CPS failures in this country. What might be more shocking to you is that there are many, many more CPS failures out there that don't even make it to the news. Unless a child dies, it is very rare for the information to get released. However, we get several emails and messages a month from people sharing their experiences with CPS. If you are in a situation like this, I know it can be an uphill battle, but please keep calling and don't stop calling. A trend throughout all these cases is that CPS can get complacent, lazy, or give up entirely on a child when no pressure is being placed on them. ❤Drewby + Yergy Discord: discord.gg/kCCzjZM
I had a situation with my sons, which i wont go into detail on for their privacy, and i quite literally kept calling DCF on myself in search of help. Alongside also calling local police, It took an entire year to get somebody to finally listen and do something to help. Its shameful.
I suffered SA, PA, MA, and various near death experiences because the courts thought my mother was 'unfit'. She wasn't perfect, but she fed and protected and enriched me whilst my bio father did a variety of hard drugs and brought his methhead friends around me. I lived my early puberty with my bedroom door ripped off and my windows nailed shut. I would have been in a drunk driving wreck caused by him if it hadn't been for the fact my mother got tired of being denied her visit and picked me up. He suffered multiple skull and back injuries that took years to heal, I wouldn't have faired any better if not worse given how small I was and how the car had long since had the seatbelts cut out due to his paranoia. CPS is a joke, and they will take literally anyone to work those jobs. They don't care. The government does not care about children, especially the children of under privileged folk and those with histories of drugs or crime. Children of these people might as well be guilty of the same in the eyes of CPS.
now thhis past week i have watchhed alot of your videos, and a theme i have noticed is that if you think of what kind of work it would require to replace 9 kids, it seems it is obvious that the cps workers chose to abbandon the investigations because it is so obvious abuse, but the work it would require of them would be more than, they wanted so they just said nothings wrong, it seems so wrong they cant be held responsible, like in this case, shouldn't the foster mom or anyone be able to sue cps for wrongfull death or something like that. when theres physical proof of the abuse like the picture something really needs to change in your country (i'm from denmark) love the content
And whats crazy when they do come in and take us and we get treated really bad, me that happened to me, i got beat and molested soon after I actually got adopted by them ppl!
Why are people working for CPS when they have no interest in protecting children, which is literally in the name of their agency, Child PROTECTIVE Services? If a child dies because of a caseworker’s negligence, that caseworker should be fired and never allowed to work with children, or any job that involves children.
@@russiaspyromaniac2423Too bad the lawmakers, good customers of CPS btw, don't feel fear of the retribution of the cowardly people, and even if they do, they just offer up a scapegoat and their business continues on.
Ugh I don't understand it either. I think they're either overworked, underpaid, lazy, things fall through the cracks, etc. The other stupid thing about CPS is they prioritize "reuniting families" and not necessarily what's in the child's best interest.
CP agencies are involved in highly organised trafficking. Not that lower level employees are aware of it but the agencies are not designed to protect. Any name should be read as the opposite. It's similar for many charities as well.
As a survivor of CSA AND CA, I have no sympathy for moms who purposely put their children and children of others in danger. I also have no sympathy for the CPS workers who would rather cut corners then protect the most innocent and vulnerable
If she didn't want Nefertiti, the foster mom clearly did. Why keep Nefertiti around when she clearly hated her?! The foster mom would have loved and cared for and protected her, but the bio mother was too selfish and vindictive to give her up. It's so sad and so completely pointless.
Always about the benefits! The more kids she has the more money/ food stamps/ government housing funds she gets so it's just pure... GREED! She didn't want to lose a couple of 100 bucks in stamps and child support! It's never about what's best for these babies. If she didn't have custody of little tuti she didn't get the government assistance on her. So sad! RIP little angel.
@@tonyajustice5386Itbteally is! I had to live in public housing for a while and I could tell you all kinds of stories about the people who, lived there. I was one family where it was 3 generations of welfare mothers. The girls get pregnant so early and the cycle just goes on and on. And it’s all about “ gaming the system” which is getting as many benifits and as much in benifits as you can and not reporting income. The place I lived even has subsidized daycare! This was to encourage mothers to get a job or go to,school. There were programs to help you get a GED and go to grade school , community college or the state university. The amount and variety of programs available was just staggering. But people didn’t want to work or attend any kind of ,school, no one wanted to get in those programs Just the programs that gave out something for free or subsidized. There was even a charity close to the housing development that had a food bank and every week you’d see the women many times stoned or drunk, half the time, dressed really nice, those long claw like nails, lots of tattoos, hair with extensions etc, wirh a bunch of kids pulling up in nice cars to get,the free food. They would elbow you and push you out of the way to get in the line first so they could get “ the good stuff” that ran out quickly . There was nearly a riot when the charity saw this and started a policy where they wouldnt let people in to choose what food the person wanted, but the charity made up bags of food that they then handed out . They had to call the cops to sort it out! This charity also would give out good clean baby and children’s clothing . You know kids grow so fast and new new clothes often…..And I saw the mothers take the stuff and then throw it away in the dumpsters because it wasn’t brand new or they wouid find something “wrong” with it. And the kids! So badly behaved, dirty, and snotty nosed….runing and crashing into people, grabbing stuff out of peoples hands , You could see the mothers just didn’t parent them,at all. The mothers wouid just stand around gossiping. The only time the mothers seemed to care was if the kids got in a scuffle , then the mothers of each of the kids would come and scream ( sometimes fight) each other. Yet you have 3 generations of single women living in the subsidized housing, all popping out a baby every year . Their druggie baby daddies would live wirh them and sell drugs out of the apartments. No one reported them for this even tho it wasnt allowed. You had to be super careful cause if someone saw you going into your apartment with something valuable, like a TV, or a piece of furniture for a baby, or anything that someone wanted, then someone would break in your apartment and steal it when you were not home. . I saw mothers smack their kids, young kids ….grab them by the arm and drag them back to their apartment…….lots of “ shut up crying or I will give you a reason to cry” kind of thing……I did hear LOTS of screaming , fights , kids screaming and crying, and some gunshots and the cops were there almost every day. The way the apartment blocks ( and the whole development) were laid out, it was hard to tell where some sound was coming from . At the first of the month when the checks and food stamps arrived in the mail ( this was in the 1980’s) it was horrible, like a war zone. I kept my mouth shut and kept to myself . My apartment was broken into 3 times, twice when I wasn’t there and once when I was home and I have the scars to prove that . Thank God I lived but it could have gone the other way easily. The cops never caught the thieves for any of the break ins. ( they lived in the housing development ,I saw them several times,) It was just so depressing… And the mind set of the women. Just “ me, me, me, and gimme, gimme, gimme” .
It's definitely a broken system much like all our systems 😢 we refuse to accept and acknowledge that a systems primary function can be something that is necessary in our society but that the system itself is too broken and too burdened by its foundational history to be effective at is primary function 😢 we do this in all aspects a certain part of our population (and most of those in power) play a game of deliberately misunderstanding the rest of us. They love to act as if we are saying that the primary function of our systems is unnecessary when that's just not the truth of what people are saying and they do so either because they can't imagine things being any different than they are and they are not personally affected by the negative aspects of these systems in a way they can understand or simply because they are willing to trade the negatives of such systems to not have to do the work to make it better. So they are fully aware they are trading the literal life's of some people and children but they don't value them as much as the cost and work it would take to fix it. Perhaps if we can force them to have to outright say "I'm choosing the death, abuse, and trauma of thousands of children and people instead of spending the money to fix it" we might make progress. 😢
Make them appear before a regular judge and jury rather than having their own judges and court system that does not hold them accountable for follow up visits etc... If in front of a regular jury of regular people we the people would see and hear all the evidence and have them charged with neglect and failure to follow up.
They tried that here in New Zealand, CYFs (Child, Youth and Family) had too many skeletons in the closet and too many kids were being neglected in the system. They had a total restructure and were rebranded Oranga Tamariki which is Māori for Childrens Well-being, it didn't take long for that organisation to come under scrutiny as well. I'm pretty sure the Crown actually conducted an enquiry
My mom is a hero that saved many kids because she was a nurse for kids abused, but one head dr. Disagreed with her findings of abuse. The kid died. My mom was pissed. It goes deeper than just CPS. Even the most experienced workers get ignored trying to protect the innocent.
im curious, what happens with people (like the head doctor you mentioned) who disagree or turn a blind eye to signs of abuse, only for that very case to end up in something like murder? i really hope they would face some sort of trouble too but something tells me they never do
Im raising my niece bc her mom was on drugs and eventually od'd, and CPS has been searching for her father. The search finally came to an end with no father found but before they gave up, i lived everyday terrified that i would lose her or she would be abused or murdered. We finally got word that we are finally gonna be given permanent custody. She will NEVER be hurt like these mothers and fathers hurt their babies.
What? After stabbing someone at the convenient store? Let me get this straight.. She literally did that? And not only didn’t serve prison time, but was able to have all of her kids? Wow! Everything is so backwards!!!! 😡
The case worker didn’t even care if the kids had furniture before releasing them to their mother. If the mother was so frustrated by her, why not just let the foster mother have her. Is it pride, a power struggle, an extra check from the state? I don’t get it.
I work at a daycare and we have foster kids. We’ve made a few reports recently and CPS just does not care. We give those kids extra food and all the love. I pray that they’ll be ok.
My dad is a nurse and he told me that whenever he has had to call CPS, they just act like he's bothering them. Why take the job if you don't care about children's safety?
How god damn stupid are these people who kept giving the kids back to this monster!!! I literally don't know how stupid they must be! They all deserve to be in prison with her, they aided in these crimes! They need to be held accountable! 😡Makes me so angry they could of stopped this!!!
CPS might be stupid and we play the blame game in my point of view it comes down to the monsters /Parents they are murder there babies WTF Some people should not have children!.
I cannot fathom how there’s a whole system in place to protect children, people go through so much training to get a job for this system, and still FAIL to protect children. Their whole life to be ‘dedicated’ to do so. I also can’t imagine not feeding my child because he had an accident on himself, or not finishing chores. Every child deserves to have a full belly and be loved. I come from a family that loves to feed others, especially children. Nothing makes me happier than to see a child enjoy a meal or even a snack.
To give the benefit of the doubt to those who do care, the case load is so large that by the time the workers can get to the kids, it's already too late or their bosses decided to override their concerns. I think I remember one CPS worker saying they had over 200 children to work with and was expected to close all of them in a unreasonable time frame, like a week. Then get told that the bosses decided they need more kids to their case load as they didn't have enough workers. That doesn't excuse those who just write a report saying, "the house was a little dirty, but is, otherwise, a safe place" when the child is obviously being beaten and neglected. Or sending children who were victims of abuse to known abusers. In my state, they sent a girl, a victim of sex trafficking, to a known pimp who had gotten out of jail just days prior.
@@jagirl966literally no one understands this. I have a degree in early childhood education and considered going into social work, but after dealing with CPS workers, there’s no way. They do not have the ability to effectively take care of the number of cases they’re given. It’s a huge problem. I have no idea how we can fix it
its always so sad when you describe the childs personality, theres only such basic information because the children you talk about have no chance to experience anything beyond a child's understanding
I'm reminded of that quote from On The Waterfront "I could have been a contender" These children didn't even have a chance to begin to know what life is or who they were. They had no shot. They could have done so many things, but all of that has been taken from them. We try our best to talk about what is known about who they were, but most of the time, there's sadly no details at all about them.
@@TheMiseryMachineand we thank you guys for dedicated time in telling these children stories and giving them a voice and opportunity to help save another’s life.
I can't understand why the mom didn't just let Nefertiti stay with her foster mom, it's not like the monster actually loves her daughter. People put too much importance on reunification instead of what's best for the child.
When are they going to defund CPS and put into place an organization that will actually care about these children?! All CPS is concerned with is their funding and not appearing racist! Its time that they go!
@@k_j_n1242 Cause most of the kids they harm or even kidnap are black. They only put white children in the system when a court date is actually established for them.
Niosha, you are a hero and an angel for showing Tootie so much love and compassion. She was blessed that you gave her the best start at life she could have. This heartbreaking story should never have happened, but family court failed yet again.... All I can think is WHY????
I used to work as a Foster Care Case Planner here in New York State. Ironically enough I am only am hour north of Syracuse. If a parent does not complete their required services by 15 months the court typically terminates their rights. This family court judge went against policy and it was negligent and incompetent on the part of the judge.
It has to be traumatic for a baby to be removed from the only "mother" she has known for 2 years and placed with a "stranger" who is abusive, vindictive, and unloving. The cases on here are heartbreaking and could've been prevented if the system worked how it was supposed to.
I hope the family court judge and CPS are "proud" of themselves for giving her back to a mother who hated her! Her blood is on their hands! Just because LaTasha was her mother, doesn't mean she belonged with her! Her days in jail will NOT be pleasant!!! The judge and CPS SHOULD ALSO be HELD ACCOUNTABLE!!!
This channel has taught me 1 thing for sure. CPS or DCFS or whatever they call it in a state does not care about children. Period. Almost every case has the exact same pattern and exact same complete incompetence for these “Services” and the courts aren’t much better
We only hear about the bad ones though, obviously. There are plenty of instances of them helping families. The one who should be getting the most flack for this particular case is her good for nothing mother.
@@smfarrie2943 This is as far from perfect as can possibly be. No institution should have such disastrous failures and blatant negligence of their most basic duties.
This is from my hometown, we were all devastated at this case. It’s so insane she was given back to her mother. My mother just retired as a Syracuse social worker. It’s an uphill battle for these type of people working in the system bc they are so overwhelmed with case loads. Some of which are extremely urgent and dire. This leaves ones that maybe aren’t so blatant to slip through the cracks, it’s no excuse …We need a lot of reform here when it comes to CPS and family court. We need more resources and funding here and everywhere!
Such a beautiful name for such a beautiful child! Named after an Egyptian Queen! And her own mother couldn’t even treat her like a princess:( Rest In Peace Sweet Child There is no more pain only❤
Why take her from a loving mom to give her back to a mom who didn't even care about her during the pregnancy. CPS failed this baby just like they do so many. RIP Tootie your a beautiful princess angel now❤❤
I find it difficult to "like" but these stories need to told, heard, understood. Thank you for making it your mission to keep children safe and alive. Algorithm and notification notification bump.
@@stacyward4309 precisely and with all the children still being failed by a system that is supposed to help protect them I feel like those who allow those children to stay or be placed in these situations they should be held accountable.
What kills me is most of the cps workers don't even have kids. Or they have foster kids and are abusers themselves. I think you should have successfully raised kids of your own before you're able to work for CPS.
Every CPS employee that is affiliated with any case that the child/children are abused/neglected or worse, should be held personally accountable. Either prioritize the children or be sentenced for criminal neglect. So the damn job, stop failing children or face consequences.
RIP little one😢❤ The fact she was even allowed to keep her overnight under the conditions and no one bothered to even check on them is horrible. The female that birthed her only wanted her for the check. What a sad life for this beautiful child.
That boyfriend knew what that evil mom was doing to that beautiful little girl,😢 hes to be blame aswell. What a sad case , this little girl was failed , god pls do your work and put this monsters away for life !!! What is wrong with this CPS workers 😡!!!!! No no no !!! This cant keep on happening !!!! This little girl have people who loved her and wanted her !!!! How could they not see that !!!! Rip little Angel , i believe there will be justice for you 😢 thank you for telling her story guys , i appreciate all the hard work and compassion you put in by being a voice for these victims, im so heartbroken 😭
These cases make me so furious!! I just want to scream!!!!!! I watched the court case about the CPS worker who actually spent time for his lack of actions or lack of action where a child lost their life! They all need to be held accountable like that! Thank you for bringing these cases to light! I know they must take a toll on you both but you are appreciated 👏
As a child that was failed by the system… these cases make me so irate. CPS is so beyond neglectful, it is absolutely criminal. They put so many kids in the direct line of danger and death.
Why is there no inner system in CPS that makes the higher-ups go “Hmm, this place is getting reported multiple times by multiple different people, we should send a couple different people down there and see what’s going on?”
I really appreciate what y’all do. Not only exposing DCFS but also shedding light on the poor victims of the system. But also humanizing them, by saying their favorite colors, activities, snacks, and just so many things that show they weren’t just a statistic, but a life that the system meant to protect failed
I couldn’t believe it when they said that she also had a newborn as well as being pregnant. Why someone who clearly doesn’t like her children. At least finds them incredibly inconvenient . Doesn’t have the means or stability for the children that she already has . Why would she want to have more kids she can’t care for & doesn’t want! For the boyfriend, why the hell would anybody want to have a child with someone who is abusive to the children they already have. He watches this woman beat & abuse her small children & thinks “ I want her to be the mother of my child !” It’s just crazy. He just allowed her to torture her kids & didn’t do anything about it . He just must have been too busy to stop her from murdering her child. There is no excuse for either of them. He may not have abused the kids himself, but he knew what was happening. He could have stopped her but instead he helped burry an innocent child after she was brutally beaten. Disgusting
I rarely feel angry, but whne I see videos like this i am filed with quiet indignation. All I can say is that I am surprised that they believed the mom when she confessed and didnt say her claims were unfounded and that the child was fine.
This is one of the reasons why I was so afraid of calling for help when I was a child. My mother was two faced and always put on a nice front to everyone outside. Hearing that briefing just broke my heart and made me cry
How come if you beat an adult to death it’s murder, but if you beat an innocent CHILD to death it’s questionable and only manslaughter?! How the fuck does that make any damn sense?!
This is the most disturbing story yet. Like seriously this is really bad. That poor girl. I can’t imagine how many nights she laid in bed dreaming and crying for her old life and the only real mom she ever had. rest assured n pease beautiful girl
Another informative episode. The police chief and the godmothers statements were very powerful. I’m crying my eyes out right now. Please keep us posted. I want to see that justice is done for the beautiful little girl.
Oooooooooooooh WOW!!!😮 That is sooo DISTURBING and DEVISTATING to even think about how much that Precious Baby Suffered all her Life!!!😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢 I will Never Never understand how anyone could do those horrible, cruel things to a little Child!!!!😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢 It is a Disgusting evil!!! Children should be Loved and Protected from All harm and Abuse of every kind!!!! I have No more words to describe how wrong this is because it is beyond description!!!😮
Omg!! I’m so heated!! WHY THE HELL DID THIS WOMAN HAVE CUSTODY OF THOSE KIDS!?!?! Just bc someone gives birth to a baby that doesn’t automatically give them immediate rights to that child ESPECIALLY when that baby already has drugs in their system!! Omg!! This case is infuriating!! 😡
I just need to express this. As i am a parent & also diagnosed w/Bipolar II disorder. Once i was dagnosed i knew there was no more pregnancies in my future. I wish there could beca law or at leaset provisions for mothers to be that are diagnosed w a serio mental illness. But at the same time why would a woman even keep having all these babies k owing their mind isn't right. It's not only not fair, it's a very Selfish decision.😢...Love the way you 2 bring an empathetic view to your stories. Team Misery Machine Foreva🎉 ❤❤❤
I don’t understand why these social workers don’t care about these poor babies 😢 If they aren’t held accountable right along with the the person/persons that caused they children’s deaths 😢
When I was 3, mom had to run to work real quick, which was a 5 minute walk from home, and was gone for about 30 minutes, but I dont know if she had neglected to say anything, or if I, just did what I do, and left the home (Apparently as soon as I learned to walk as a baby, I'd take any opportunity to run out the house and they'd find me crying outside, sitting on my diaper cause the Texas sidewalk wasn't made for bare baby feet 😂). CPS took me away for 3 years. 3 long years, my mom had to fight tooth and nail to get me back, going deep into debt paying lawyers. But a drug-addled, clearly abusive woman is returned all her kids? Come the f*ck on. At the least, I'm grateful that I was placed in a loving foster family. Edit: removed a redundant word.
Unfortunately this is usually the only times children are taken away. Yes it’s was wrong your mother even left you home alone even if she was back in 5 minutes, because a 3 year old could easily put themselves in danger within seconds. But that’s absolutely nothing anywhere near as bad as this case and it took the death of that child for them to finally get all the kids outta there forever. I’m glad your mother was able to get you back, and she learned a lesson even if it seemed innocent to her especially compared to thousands of other cases. Your mother made a mistake, that should not have ended up with you taken away for so long when others get a warning for so much worse. Like this mother here intentionally hurt, killed and hid her child’s remains. CPS was called many times on her by multiple people, they had tons of obvious evidence and proof of this baby being in danger and yet they kept her there. How does that make any sense? I’m so sorry you had to go through that and that your mother was treated worse by CPS as if she was a serious criminal, when the actual dangerous criminals hardly get a slap on the wrist, just multiple warnings until it’s too late and the child is no longer living. It’s so ass backwards. It’s like is CPS scared of certain people possibly coming after them if they have to do their job and remove a child? Or are they just lazy fucks and only take the ones who are easier to take with parents who have money to pay and fight to get them back? That’s what it seems like. They knew they weren’t gonna get any money from this lady to fight for her baby, so to them it’s a waste of time. They happily take children from homes who they aren’t afraid of messing with because your mother probably acted like an adult and didn’t get physical with them knowing it’d make it worse, while also knowing your mother was for sure gonna put every dime possible and fight as long as possible to get you back. That’s our corrupt system for ya. And now she’s in debt that she’ll probably never get out of. That’s really sad and unfortunate. And this other family here had to off the child for CPS AND POLICE to finally take this seriously. Well it’s too late for her, and I think they need to be held accountable also. Including the judge that let her have her child back from the foster home she was happy, taken care of and safe at. It makes me sick to my stomach this is the world we live in, and it’s terrifying raising young kids now because now it’s not just police or CPS, the entire country is going psycho over some war somewhere else. We are going down and it’s a scary thought knowing it’s going to be our reality soon. Sending you both positive vibes and much love from my family to yours darling ❤❤❤
How could the judge have allowed this precious baby to be returned to her biological mother, who she did not know, when the bio mother had not finished all the things she was supposed to do, re mental health and drug addiction? CPS are also to blame for not taking the foster mother’s concerns more seriously.
It truly makes you wonder, what’s wrong with people, that have or get kids they don’t honestly want? I swear, I wish there was some kind if testing people had to do, before having kids. Stories like this just makes me sick!!!
Do these people bribe, pay off, or otherwise have some kind of personal relationship with workers inside of these local CPS departments? Because I can not understand any other way that these children are going fully reported as needing help and needing removed from their situations and STILL being entirely FAILED til they are DEAD!!!! It makes no sense and especially that it happens this way so often. Truly it makes no sense. I’m so sad for this baby and all her siblings, and every other forgotten child that these agencies consistently fail to protect. 💔
That poor baby girl. I was looking at her face in the picture on your thumbnail and she has an Angelic Little Face. How could anyone ever harm an innocent child. That sweet innocent baby girl, Rest In Peace
I look at this beautiful little girl and see so much of my granddaughter. It's absolutely disgusting that this woman only wanted her to abuse her when she could of had a mother that loved her so much. SOMETHING HAS TO CHANGE WITH THIS BROKEN SORRY SYSTEM.
I travel to sayracuse ny regularly for my daughters appointments and I'm beyond blown away I have not heard of this until now! Thank you so much for sharing! Rest in peace beautiful girl!
I will give this disgusting woman one itty bitty tiny piece of understanding because she was crying out for help in the only way she knew how. When she kept saying she wanted to end her life and the life of the last baby she was carrying, the people she reached out to could have helped her. They could have found a psychologist or psychiatrist and showed them the text messages. They could have kept calling CPS even if they were afraid of not seeing the kids again. They could have pushed more.
Also, family members HAD to have seen there were problems, especially the way this little one was treated differently than her siblings. The grandmother didn't notice anything? I just find this difficult to believe. The grandmother also knew her daughter had mental issues which should have also kept her on high alert. She had a lot of kids over a short period of time. I put blame on CPS as well as the family members who could have stepped in. This sweet little baby should still be here. Absolutely heartbreaking. 💔
If she really wanted help, she would have gotten it. When CPS & cops kept coming she should have said it then.. but she didn't want to lose her benefits from the children. No sympathy or empathy for her. I've had bipolar disorder and several other issues for majority of my life and I knew when I needed help. I got help. She didn't actually WANT help and you can't force someone. Even getting someone 302'd or Baker Acted is only temporary unless they put the foot work in. Showing a pyschiatrist the texts wouldn't have done anything as she would have had to consent for treatment, provide her insurance info, participate in sessions, etc. People that wanna off themselves, off themselves..not beat their babies to d3ath.
@@millsmami Thats 100% understandable and agreeable as I also have Bipolar disorder (type 2) and am a recovering addict. The main hang-up on my end is that the family members didnt step in nearly as much as I or other in my family personally would have. As in, to physically remove the child from the home in whatever way necessary. Then again, we dont know this particular womans situation or just how her families situation was, but still. Thats just my perspective.
Some ppl with mental disorders may need medications, that being said doesn't mean that everyone who has a diagnosed disorder may necessarily need medication to sustain a healthy lifestyle. Speaking with experience.
It’s really scary that this couple continued to have children when mom was bipolar. My dear grandmother was bipolar and had seven the last one born right before the birth control pill was invented. My older aunts begged our grandfather not to have more children, because even with a cook & a nanny it was way too much for grandmother. She could take lithium when she wasn’t pregnant or breastfeeding, which unfortunately was seldom. He finally realized more children was really a dumb idea ,when your wife has severe bipolar. After menopause Grandmother bipolar calmed down so much she only took a light dose. I wasn’t born yet ,but I can only imagine the rollar coaster of emotions, pregnancy & no meds allowed must have made her feel so bad. This lady had 9 kids !!
@missbojangelz8866. That is very true. But I think as soon as people hear bipolar, it means meds, or meds for life who h isn't always necessary. I would however think it would be a useful tool until one is able to develop other ways to deal with said mental health issue. "we" don't always need to be medicated, it all depends per person but sadly sometimes we aren't seen as individuals with our own toolset to deal with issues but as a label that is easier handled with meds. That said, being on it does NOT mean one isn't doing everything they can to. get things under control. It is not failing if you do need meds whatsoever and please whoever reads this, do what works for you and if you benefit off meds, by all means take them and stay on them if it means having a stable, healthier life. I by no means mean that medication is bad, I am on some myself, but I also quit some when I learned to deal with things a certain way. But I can see now that I should be prepared for it But we also shouldn't be seen as a homogenous group where meds are solution nr 1 and only and sometimes never given good other tools to handle our mental health issue because we can't handle it, it's not for us, a certain potential beneficial therapy is sometimes not given because "people with x cannot handle that type of therapy" etc.

Can we do Drewby and Yergy a favor and share The Misery Machine's videos with someone that would appreciate watching them? It's such a small thing and could help them out a lot!
It blows my mind that somebody could use drugs, pregnant, and is allowed to have custody of any child, ever again. 🤦♀️ I’m a drug addict of 18 years, but I never used anything during my pregnancies.
ANOTHER "well done" for CPS! ANOTHER child buried in the grave decades too soon and yet ANOTHER massive failure not just for Nefertiti but for her siblings too! I have had previous experience with what we call FACS or Family and Community Services here in Australia and they just give the kids back to the parents regardless of their capability to be parents. There was a little boy removed from his drug addicted mother when he was 8 months old but although he went to a wonderful foster mother who cherished and adored him it wasn't many months before he was back with his selfish mother and would end up becoming the carer of his younger siblings as his "mother" wasn't able to "care" for them either! I can't share more of this story although I'd like to but in every continent except Antarctica there are children every single say being failed by the organisations set up to protect them. Poor Nefertiti and her foster mum. They would have had a great life together and Tuti would have been happy! I have got to remark on the "mother's" decision to take drugs to send her into labour at just 33 weeks could easily have ended in the death of that baby girl too. She clearly doesn't care about ANY of her children and I hope that she never sees any of them again! She should NEVER have got them back in the first place! Thanks again Drewby and Yergy for wading through the excrement!
We are both humbled and grateful to know that we contributed to that. Also thank YOU for being brave enough to speak out. It isn't easy, and it sounds like you did the right thing.
@TheMiseryMachine it was hard. She actually hates me now because I got her taken from her dad but what he was doing was downright horrible. What is the worst part is how she loved her dad, even after all he did she didn't want to go.
@@PyroTheTherian35it’s sad. I remember one case on this channel. The little girl was being beaten to death by her mom’s bf. He stoped for a minute. Her lasts were to her mom and she said “ i love you mommy” before the moms bf beat her more.
To the both of you, thank you. I will forever stand by and support those who bring light to these terrible crimes. Hopefully one day, these stories will reach the agencies meant to protect children and some change can finally come about, hopefully saving innocent babies in the future. They don’t deserve these fates, and I’m so glad you two have the strength to speak about these horrible stories and promote awareness so maybe one day, we can make change happen
This case is so heartbreaking 😭 My sister lived next door to this mom and her kids. The mom was ALWAYS screaming at the top of her lungs at the kids at all hours of the day and night. I spent month there taking care of my sisters kids while sh was in the hospital and this monster was going on about hating kids and wished hers would die and just awful stuff like that. In that month I called the police 5x due to the kids screaming at 3/4 in the morning and I called CPS as well. NOTHING was ever done. Our police department is a joke here. CPS needs a serious overhaul and training for everyone there. Tuti was a sweet little girl and she would wave to me and say hi when I was walking by to go back to the house. I'll never forget her big smile from ear to ear 😊 It kills me that so many young people in my city are dying by the hands of those that were supposedly the ones who loved them and were supposed to care for them. Syracuse is getting so bad. I'm glad my sister finally got smart and moved out of the inner city to more rural are with her kids. Tuti you will NEVER be forgotten and you'll ALWAYS be loved and missed by so many of us here that tried to truly protect you from those 2 monsters. I'm sorry babygirl that we failed you as your family and friends who tried to get you help. 😢😢
These videos are always hard to watch, but I avoided this one when I saw that. Beautiful, chubby cheek bright-eyed little Angel on the thumbnail and knew that, if you were covering it on this channel, it wasn't going to end well for her. I am heartbroken, but thank you so much for covering these stories that don't get enough attention.
I'm so tired of hearing these horrible cases where cps has yet again failed these children they claim their there to protect. How is it they allow so many of these innocent babies to fall threw the cracks like this?! Absolutely heart breaking
This case just broke my spirit. The foster mother did everything under the sun to save that child and the system did everything to do the opposite. This is so sad.
This was bloody ridiculous, why would you send children back to this awful home when they had loving care givers, why do they do this. Surely the vulnerable children should be put before adults choosing their actions!
So proud of you both for the job your doing, it must be extremely hard talking about all the poor children that have passed away.😢 God bless you both Drewby and Yergy..xxxxx. By the way watching from Adelaide Australia. My cat is 21 years old.😺 and still going strong.
Oh, and also, if you dont want or cant be bothered to properly care for your kids........ STOP POPPING THEM OUT LIKE A PEZ DISPENSER, WE HAVE BIRTH CONTROL AND ADOPTION FOR A DAMN REASON !!!!
A friend of 20 years became so prideful when she qualified as manager in CPS, bragging on her professional status and how she cannot mix with low lifes (anymore). She came crashing down to earth when professionals looked down on her as two of her children became criminals, she soon left the job. YES Im sick of seeing Misery Machine report time and time again of CPS failures. Its all about money, not the welfare of children.
All of those CPS workers and judges that turn a blind eye and return these vulnerable babies back to these poor excuses for human beings should face prison time right along with them! Maybe then they will take the jobs they signed up for seriously? Every step they took was a choice! These babies didn’t get a choice it was made for them the moment they deemed things to be unfounded! I just don’t understand this broken system? 🙏🏽 Sweet angel.
The fact that this sweet little girl had a loving family who loved and cared for her, but was taken away breaks my heart. Her life would have been so different if Niosha and Titi were allowed to stay together.

Yess❤️ never stop calling and trying. The best thing you can do is NOT stay quiet.
March 28th was my b'day.😞 To think I was having the best day of my life she went through that.💔
now thhis past week i have watchhed alot of your videos, and a theme i have noticed is that if you think of what kind of work it would require to replace 9 kids, it seems it is obvious that the cps workers chose to abbandon the investigations because it is so obvious abuse, but the work it would require of them would be more than, they wanted so they just said nothings wrong, it seems so wrong they cant be held responsible, like in this case, shouldn't the foster mom or anyone be able to sue cps for wrongfull death or something like that. when theres physical proof of the abuse like the picture something really needs to change in your country (i'm from denmark)

Cps- can't protect shit
Well that's the joke of CPS Failing children.

Smmfh 😔
Capture. Profit. Sit back.
You have to write to lawmakers if you really want change
The reason is simple. CPS actually means "cant protect shit"
I hear you!❤
As a person who's went through a*use, I agree. There was just shitty ppl in general who didn't give a single shit.
100%
CPS like in England only interested in money not the children. Scandalous
Support eugenics!
If she didn't want Nefertiti, the foster mom clearly did. Why keep Nefertiti around when she clearly hated her?! The foster mom would have loved and cared for and protected her, but the bio mother was too selfish and vindictive to give her up. It's so sad and so completely pointless.
Because, she gets child support and housing. It's always about greed.
$$$$
( they lived in the housing development ,I saw them several times,)
It was just so depressing… And the mind set of the women. Just “ me, me, me, and gimme, gimme, gimme” .

CPS should be disbanded and re-education for every new employee.
Something Anything
Make them appear before a regular judge and jury rather than having their own judges and court system that does not hold them accountable for follow up visits etc... If in front of a regular jury of regular people we the people would see and hear all the evidence and have them charged with neglect and failure to follow up.
Exactly especially in Minnesota 😊
Congrats on becoming a parent!
May the giggles that meet your ears always fill your heart with warmth
What? After stabbing someone at the convenient store? Let me get this straight.. She literally did that? And not only didn’t serve prison time, but was able to have all of her kids? Wow! Everything is so backwards!!!! 😡
It’s F mind boggling the insanity of it all!
The case worker didn’t even care if the kids had furniture before releasing them to their mother.
If the mother was so frustrated by her, why not just let the foster mother have her. Is it pride, a power struggle, an extra check from the state? I don’t get it.
@@shuffman8094i am tired of people not doing the bare minimum in their job.

I hope they sent funeral notices to the CPS office so they could see what their ignorance did.
How god damn stupid are these people who kept giving the kids back to this monster!!! I literally don't know how stupid they must be! They all deserve to be in prison with her, they aided in these crimes! They need to be held accountable! 😡Makes me so angry they could of stopped this!!!
CPS might be stupid and we play the blame game in my point of view it comes down to the monsters /Parents they are murder there babies WTF
Some people should not have children!.
Because they are corrupt
Imagine if you will the news after the govment took a black woman’s babies from her?
But then they want to protect their own but not other people's kids that's innocent
@@jagirl966literally no one understands this. I have a degree in early childhood education and considered going into social work, but after dealing with CPS workers, there’s no way. They do not have the ability to effectively take care of the number of cases they’re given. It’s a huge problem. I have no idea how we can fix it
That poor baby. Why don’t people see kids for what they are, a blessing and innocent.
They see them as a paycheck
Or unwanted. 😶
Children are property in the U.S.
its always so sad when you describe the childs personality, theres only such basic information because the children you talk about have no chance to experience anything beyond a child's understanding
I'm reminded of that quote from On The Waterfront "I could have been a contender"
These children didn't even have a chance to begin to know what life is or who they were.
Because the awful mother would get more benefits having her. That’s the reason she wanted her, for the benefits. Awful.
Because of benefits like food stamps or money.

Unfounded= we can't be bothered doing anything
Many children are saved through CPS. Is it perfect? No
We only hear about the bad ones though, obviously. There are plenty of instances of them helping families. The one who should be getting the most flack for this particular case is her good for nothing mother.

This is as far from perfect as can possibly be.
@j... I'm sorry but this particular case was a no brainer. No way in hell that that the Caseworker was that damn busy.

As a child that was failed by the system… these cases make me so irate. CPS is so beyond neglectful, it is absolutely criminal. They put so many kids in the direct line of danger and death.
We're in a Hopeless era for child care...
Why is there no inner system in CPS that makes the higher-ups go “Hmm, this place is getting reported multiple times by multiple different people, we should send a couple different people down there and see what’s going on?”
This happened right across town and it made me sick for months. Thank you for covering this. ❤️RIP Neff❤️
At this point they might as well get rid of CPS because it's not doing their job.🙏

But also humanizing them, by saying their favorite colors, activities, snacks, and just so many things that show they weren’t just a statistic, but a life that the system meant to protect failed
Fly high sweet Tuti. May your memory live on in the hearts of those that loved you. ❤
Disgusting
The more kids they have, the more the government gives them in tax payer hand outs.
Welfare & more EBT housing some sort of benefits

Thankyou for your time and dedication to spread awareness and create changes
With love from Australia 🌏🦘
I want a daughter so badly. This rips my soul.
And getting paid by government for the number of kids she has.
Right. I don't think the government should give people money for having kids. It leads to things like this.
They are always getting all gov assistance
Manslaughter?? I don't understand why our courts continue to downplay their actions. This was murder! Everyone failed this baby
You’d think that Fertile Myrtle would have gotten her tubes tied.
Imo, she kept having babies to keep getting & increasing her benefits. Smdh. RIP tuti
So many things are controlled, I cannot understand why they don’t enforce tubal ligations. This monster was clearly a POS.
Drug addict
Imagine having 9 kids and then complaining about ONE of them being "too much."
I live in Syracuse. I’ve watched you guys channel for a while. I’m thankful that you guys are the ones to cover this tragedy. Thank you very much
Do these people bribe, pay off, or otherwise have some kind of personal relationship with workers inside of these local CPS departments? Because I can not understand any other way that these children are going fully reported as needing help and needing removed from their situations and STILL being entirely FAILED til they are DEAD!!!! It makes no sense and especially that it happens this way so often. Truly it makes no sense. I’m so sad for this baby and all her siblings, and every other forgotten child that these agencies consistently fail to protect. 💔
What a beautiful baby's name. Rest in peace baby girl.
She had someone caring for her and Cps returned her to her mother! Bunch of bottom dwellers at cps!
@@blazefairchild465that sounds horrible for all parties involved.
But I can see now that I should be prepared for it
But we also shouldn't be seen as a homogenous group where meds are solution nr 1 and only and sometimes never given good other tools to handle our mental health issue because we can't handle it, it's not for us, a certain potential beneficial therapy is sometimes not given because "people with x cannot handle that type of therapy" etc.

You wouldn't know hoiw many adopt its not public knowledge but in uk they take kids who are at possible risk they're very strict 😢
Can we do Drewby and Yergy a favor and share The Misery Machine's videos with someone that would appreciate watching them? It's such a small thing and could help them out a lot!
I don’t know how y’all can do it. These cases are so heart wrenching… but thank you for doing it.
RIP sweet Tuti!!! You are missed by so so many!!!
So sad. Thank you for telling us about her.
Always love when i get a Misery Machine notification ❤
I think its pretty clear that cps dosent care and the system doesn't work 😢
Thank you so much for covering this case!! Princess Tuti will NEVER be forgotten❤❤
Im early.
I just want to say, youre channel is what helped me call out my friends parents for child abuse and neglect
We thank you
Well done, that's a brave thing to do. The right thing is just that and you did it. I salute you ❤
We are both humbled and grateful to know that we contributed to that.
@@sundinfamforlife4129 That one was Riley Ann Sawyer.
The system failed those kids😮😮😮 I can’t believe they let her keep her kids😢😢😢
To the both of you, thank you. I will forever stand by and support those who bring light to these terrible crimes. Hopefully one day, these stories will reach the agencies meant to protect children and some change can finally come about, hopefully saving innocent babies in the future. They don’t deserve these fates, and I’m so glad you two have the strength to speak about these horrible stories and promote awareness so maybe one day, we can make change happen
What is the point of CPS?! 😢
@VICTOR, I would have surely had my recorder and recorded away .
That poor baby needs time to adjust to being abused 😢. The state should be held accountable
They have another channel that does not report on children.
They knew mom was mentally ill af and still allowed her to have custody. Absolutely abhorrent
The fact that this sweet little girl had a loving family who loved and cared for her, but was taken away breaks my heart. Her life would have been so different if Niosha and Titi were allowed to stay together.
