for others showing up and perhaps @ItsNoe too, if you set the HD in the controller behind the password screen to 22 tire diameter to 22 it seems to fix the spedometer issues, but, milage may vary, test around with it to see what works more in line with GPS. some report 22, others say 24-25 so... comes out ot an "it depends" situation. I just see everyone getting all these mods and things, and it makes me regret getting the Step-thru version with the low frame, i can't mount a tank bag, or that extra battery you have for instance.
Hello, dear friend! Please tell me what type of bike you think is better for food delivery, aventon commuter (classic bike) or in the form of a moped (ariel rider grizzly, x-class) ?
Thanks. All the mods were easy to do. There’s tutorials on how to change the shock, handlebar and add an extra battery. I only had trouble changing the tires.
Beautiful bike. I bought the new step-through model X-Class. Unfortunately the spring alone cannot be swapped out, and the stock shock is just way too stiff. It's a shame, because otherwise the bike is great.
Hello Noe, Nice job on the bike. I got the Kepler HighStep myself and the rear cargo basket. I also have the JBL Flip 5 on the bike and you can install them especially on your model right under your seat with the Rhino Grip Flex 3.0. They sell it them on Amazon for $14.99. Just and FYI.
I have been looking at alot of these videos and this guy did nice job. I just don't understand why people buy the x-class instead of buying the grizzly? The only reason I say that us because everyone upgrades the batteries to make it faster and that's $500+. Could've spent $1000 more for the extra power. Just my thoughts.
I asked myself the same question when I added the extra battery lol. $900 more I could’ve just got the Grizzly. But I don’t regret it since I plan on adding the 2000W kit bumping the speed to 45+MPH. Already have the kit, just waiting on the battery. A traditional triangle battery would not fit on the Grizzly. You would have to get a super expensive custom made 72v battery. In terms of cost and endless modifications you can add, the X-Class is still king imo.
That's some clean-looking upgrades. Nice. Those tires are dope. Out of curiosity, why add a battery over going with the Grizzly? X-Class is just a better looking bike?
I originally planned on getting the x class to slap a 3000w kit on it. I bought the kit and battery but quickly switched back to stock. Switching the motor and battery requires a lot of ebike DIY knowledge. However I don’t regret it since I do prefer the style of the x class over the grizzly. And still more affordable than the grizzly even with the 2nd battery. X class $2400 + $500 battery and combiner = $2900. Compared to grizzly $3300.
yea, Ariel Rider lies a lot i know i found this out the hard way, plus i got the V3 grizzly and V3 X-class and both have what is called a very stupid build, i could have done better and i am new to ebikes ok, the only thing i like so far is the frame on the grizzly and x-class, but i know me i will have to tear apart both ebikes and build them back up from the ground up and make sure they are right, this means taking both wheels off and taking all the wiring and controller off the ebikes and buying the right ones, talk about a waste of money ok, but this is what Ariel rider does :0
Great looking bike! I just unboxed and assembled my X-Class last night, just got home from work and going to figure out how to turn it on and take it for the maiden voyage! What stem and handle bars? I'm going to get bmx handle bars asap
@@BOOSTEDLASER never said they were. But 30-40 mile range throttle only, 35mph top speed and rear suspension for $2400. Name a better bike at this price point ????
Love what you've done to your bike! Does anyone here have feedback on reliability of these bikes? I've read a lot of horror stories. I'm wanted to commute 3 days a week 15miles round-trip
I commute 13 miles round trip on my Ariel Rider D Class and have had no reliability issues with the bike itself. However, I've received 4 flats after 700 miles. My suggestion is to upgrade to thicker street tires, fill them with flat out, carry a patch kit and invest into a portable electric pump. I would also recommend a backup plan in case all of that fails. Can someone pick you and the bike up? Triple A road service? Repair shop on route during operating hours? Etc. Good luck 👍
Well you can't cut the bike off literally leaving it rendering the bike useless to a stranger but that's not the case you should be telling ppl the key fact
Are you referring to the exposed wiring ? I meant cut a hole in the panel to feed the wire through. If someone was to cut that wire, I would still be able to use the stock battery.
I have it linked. The the older generation (V1) the controller is not compatible for the head light so I had to get a battery. If u have a newer x class it should work work. The controller should be black
I don't know why people go and buy on etsy when ariel rider has an option to notify you when product's are back in stock. They usually restock once a month. But to each his own. #patience
Best looking Xclass I have seen on the net
Thank u !!
@@ItsNoe YW, hope you win your money back!

X class if you are on a budget. Grizzly if you have the extra cash.
Sick bike
Really wish i got the step over version right now
Nice, I subbed
How did you get the basket all accessories are sold out!!!!!
I got lucky and found it on offerup
Dope mods dude. I’m planning to get an Ariel rider too and make it look dope
Nice and to the point video!
I like the white walls, I want to add a second battery on my x class , what was the process of adding a second battery
It looks sooo much better now. That look is exactly how I want my bike. I wish I new how to modify.

Bro the upp from Amazon that is 52v 28 ah would that work also? I need that extra battery cuz I do food delivery
Yea that should work. Better actually
but do not think Ariel rider will ever give you money for any type of events you do ok :0

It is adjustable I just got mine yesterday rides like a dream!
MY right brake goes almost to my handle grip, does ANYONE know how to adjust it on my x- class?

Whitewalls look 🔥
Thanks, I struggled to remove the stock tires with a flat head. I have a auto trim removal kit and used the widest tool and they popped right out.

damn your bike is kitted out. Thinking about getting one. great video
Thanks. Just ordered another handlebar. The one i have is a bit short. And thinking about purchasing a 2000w kit to increase to 45mph.
will extra battery add more torque?
A tiny bit more torque. With the extra battery I reach the top speed a bit faster. You’ll gain an extra 1-2 mph adding an extra battery as well.
The spring is 400 but what’s the size
Recommend to go with the stock size, 165mm. Highest you can go is 190mm and that will raise the bike about 1-1.5 inches
That's some clean-looking upgrades. Nice. Those tires are dope.

Does the tool bag not hit against the rear mudguard?
Barely. There’s a very small gap. I had to make another hole to tighter the straps on the bag to lift it.
How much range would you say those two 52v batteries give you?
I’d say around 80 miles throttle only. My daily commute is 18 miles round trip and I still have 4/5 bars on the display when I get home.
Hello bro May I ask you from where did you buy rear rack and the container
Both rear rack and cargo basket you can find on Ariel Rider website

18 miles rounds trip. Currently at 2000 miles. So far so good. But I baby it. I don’t go off roading. Street only.
