Yes, you need a rod licence. You can get them online on the .gov website.

you need a license to fish any freshwater in the country and then permission or permit if not free buddy 👍🎣…. not many free places to fish these days ….. this spot is a cracking water to fish and using the correct gear and travel light you will love it 😁👍😁🎣🎣

Thanks for sharing the location. Us landlocked midlander's need somewhere to go spinning! It's a huge expanse. Which side do you park? Three and a half hours away for me so want to utilise the time there well! Never even thought about reservoirs!😊

We parked at the south shore carpark first near the dam then drove around to the cronkley bay side then to the carpark at pow Hill. You can get a map at the lodge that will show you where all the carparks are.
