Just did this in my 2014. I do not have a sun roof however. I said f it and squeezed it out of the car. Definitely don’t tape it along the way because that eliminates places you can put the fiber optics. Definitely pull them all the way thru to have Have like a good 24 inches as you feed the remaining fibers down the back pillar. Long enough (pause) that you can attach your motor somewhere.
@@1badss231 I chose to take it out. Car was drives me without the headliner so I was able to take my team, I also did not remove my seats. So I think of you don’t want to remove the headliner from the car completely, you need to remove the seats
How hard was it fishing the fiber optics into the trunk? I'm in the process of doing my camaro. Did u have to take off the rear three trim pieces for the rear window in order to fish fiber optics to trunk? Not sure where to run the box yet.
i just removed the back C pillars and ran it down into the trunk, thers a big opening on either side, or alternatively you could mount it on the rear decklid too
This just took me 10 hours and 2 retried poke the amount of holes your kit says first if you have 150 spread them if u want to see them I’m going to post them to my Instagram lmaro I’m in Fl will install only in coups if you don’t want to take anything out and have a black headliner just Bend it
@@Parv03 The giveaway was the stripe on the dash trim. I noticed your Splitter was missing then I heard you mention waiting for one to come in on your other video. I have a convertible one. Also, look at your stripe closely, it's dark blue (Blue Ray Metallic).
The wiring loom that is glued is factory , just work it slowly & the paper that tears is not going to damage the headliner at all cutting at least for me just takes too much time as I’ve done multiple headliners just my opinion tho!
im here because of riff raffs new " stars" banger. and my 2012 ss. great job bro, came out sick
thank you 🙌

Do you have to remove all that out of the car to get the headliner down??
yeah all the side trims hold it up, lots of small areas around the car that hide hardware behind things. gotta remove alot
I know this came out almost a year ago and I’ve got a 2012 cam but this will help make things easier gracias
