This is so wild, I have never seen boxers this aggressive. Every boxer I have met were absolute sweethearts.

Sadly I can't say the same. There was a boxer our neighbor up the street had, twice when I came out of my building walking up our walkway to the main sidewalk, I didn't see him and he didn't see me because of a bricked in area. This boxer went wild, he was all teeth and the poor owner who had him in a heavy chain leash could barely hold onto him. Scared the daylights out of me, but I remained calm, ignored the dog who was still going nuts while I talked to the neighbor. He said he wasn't like this at all when home, I said but you know he needs some serious training so he behaves with strangers, nice older man but definitely in denial. It happened again, same exact way, and I tried talking to him about it again, but this time I did report it, just for the record. Really believe it is the human, not the animal.

I have a huge love of boxers. My Kira looked so much like Mocha I cried when I saw the way she started acting when they brought in another dog to their family. We did the same and saw some changes in Kira, although it was mostly food hoarding that happened. But I loved seeing the true boxer shown once Cesar got hold of them.

I met boxers that were very agressive. I had a neighbor who walked 2 and he said to me don't get closer with your dog because they are agressive. Another one from other neighbor bit my dog while I was walking her and my dog didn't even do anything and when the boxer attacked my dog she didn't react she just stayed calm because she was the sweetest dog on earth and the other dog kept trying to bite her until the owner went to grab his mad dog

It's wonderful that Cesar has dogs that are calm and passive. Often dog owners don't have those resources. Small towns with vet services and trainers hours away, make it difficult to avail oneself of services. These RUclips videos are valuable.

We Are Not OWNERs,we who truly care about our pets of any kind, are GUARDIANS,Their Caregivers,Pet Parents. We OWN things, cars, wallets, houses if you’re lucky. It is an Honour and a Privilege to have these innocent, helpless transient beings beside us.This philosophy ( by the way I have strictly followed and adopted, atheard to Cesar’s program for over 17 years, with mainly my psck of four pooches for 16 and many foster dogs and my newer dog now) so,this Philosophy is not my idea,it is the brainchild of wonderful, caring people who founded my PET Planet Pet Stores, exclusively located in Edmonton, Canada. Kudos to them. Such an honour and a privilege to have these fur babies beside us and to respect them ENOUGH to not make them flippantly into objects we OWN. EMBRACE GUARDIANSHIP! Changing, trying hard, hard to,one human mindset at a time Worldwide.

Everyone has acsess to their own calm energy. It's just whether you are bothered to take the time and patience to observe and adjust till you learn what you're doing. It's very simple if you're doing it right the dog will be happy and calm if you're doing something wrong your dog will be doing something wrong and it's pretty binary.

@@ingridlenz3978No, the correct term is owner. You can legally sell, trade, and breed dogs making them property. I think owners should have a guardian mindset as if you abuse a dog and go to jail. We should all try to provide the best life for our pets. Owners shouldn't buy dogs that have higher requirements than they can provide.

I of course wasn't there, but I have used the e-collar. Have you ever felt one on your wrist? My experience with them was that you start at the lowest vibration and work your way up. As soon as the dog gives the slightest ear twitch or head tilt, that is the level you use. I believe it was a level 3 for me and when I tested it on my wrist I could barely feel it. You have to remember dogs are far more sensitive than us. These tools are very effective when used properly. Unfortunately, it's people not using them right that give the tool all the bad publicity.

When they used the collar is when I tap my dog on the head for attention a d instruct her simply to knock it off. Usually a "no" or a "ssht" but it can be conversational. Dog gets the point either way. I do this as soon as the dog shows unrelaxed attention. No aggression from me, just step in, block with my legs and place dog in correct heel position. This has worked with new mature dogs as well as puppues although the first few walks need a lot of patience ad attention. I learned this from Cesar. Pay attention to the attitude expression and communicate your disapproval. This builds on my old understanding of "win their love, then teach them what you want. They love pleasing you."

We had a mother and daughter boxer...both were the sweetest girls. But twice, the younger one attacked her mother, almost ripped her ear off. Only happened twice in their lifetime, but was scary. We also rescued and fostered another female boxer after we lost our last baby. She was ok with us, but bit 2 people and tried to go after another dog. (We found out she was crated a lot and neglected) We found her a home on a farm with no other dogs or kids and she did great with the woman who took her. I absolutely love boxers and most that I've had or have been around were wonderful, but there are exceptions, as with any breed.

I’ve seen some very aggressive boxers in my life. Read the comments not all boxers are calm and happy

Of course you are correct, there must be aggressive Boxers. I have never met one, but saw these 2. As you might guess, I’m a little touchy about Boxers, partly because I’ve never met a mean one, and partly because although they are mostly family dogs, if you have one and ever want to rent, they are in the forbidden list, like Pit
Bulls. Who are also frequently misjudged.

We had a boxer, and she was the sweetest baby. Our ex neighbors had multiple male boxers, and you could not even walk on the sidewalk in front of the house.

I have an e collar for my dog. I’ve only used the vibrate mode on him. One time I put it on and he responded when I buzzed, which was weird because I later figured out I had never turned on the collar. He was just reacting to seeing me grab the remote. 😂

Despite what some trainers or pet store employees may say, shock collars are not safe or humane for your dog. Fear, or pain-based training methods may have some short-term results, but they can also lead to other behaviour problems such as aggression, phobias and high levels of stress in your dog.

Sharp increases in pressure inside the head, which can cause brain or eye damage and sometimes prolapse of the eye. Bruising and damage to the skin and tissues in the neck, resulting in the formation of scar tissue.
