You know I don’t mind these gimmick transformers,
If they don’t cost near or just as much as a studio series / mainline figure
I saw these today I'll wait for the rest of the stuff to pop up
That’s probably for the best. These guys are fun, but the deluxes will be better for the same amount of money.
I don’t get the idea of simpliflying everything to the max… except the prices, those are not simplified… That’s the problem I have with the gimmick toys, they want same or more for them than the fairly superior ones… makes no sense to me
Gotta love late stage capitalism 😂. In all seriousness, it’s a real shame. I remember activators, fast action battlers, and even the original run of 1-step changers around AOE: they were all good budget gimmick toys. Ever since then, it’s been cutting costs in what was already a budget-cut assortment.

These look okay. I don’t get why poor Elita-1 has a robot battler before any of the superior figures of her even released! Scarlett Johansson disapproves!
Yeah, but at least we know now that Elita will get two separate Yolopark Figures and two Threezero figures! They look awesome, and I’m sure we’ll get a proper Hasbro figure before too long!

To me it just seems like another inflation situation. Lego and hasbro r big victims of upping the toys prices
Hasbro will definitely claim this was inflation, but in truth, I think they sometimes just want to see how far they can push the price point of something before people won’t budge anymore. I don’t see a world where the deluded go up two dollars but the gimmick toys with less pieces and paint double their price without a little bit of shenanigans on Hasbro’s part, you know?
I bought Elita just to try out this new gimmick. But $20 is just not worth it.
It’s a real shame, because I honestly think think Elita and especially Sentinel are great 3-Step Changers. That price tag is just too high.

I hadn’t heard of that line, but they really did! To be fair, there were some transformers toys many years ago that had a similar gimmick, and a handful of other toylines line Ben 10 had toys like this as well.
There is a really high pitched noise through the whole video
I hear it, it’s my lights. Usually, I’m able to filter the noise out and then fully block it out with music, but it sounds like it was still here more than usual.
If you don’t mind me asking, were you using headphones, or just listening to it out of a speaker? I’m curious if that would make the noise better or worse.
WOW these are terrible junk, yes I appreciate they are aimed at little kids and expensive.
They are definitely too expensive for what they are, but I honestly think they’re alright. I’m a fan of more clever 1-step changers, and these guys all have decent transformations and variety in appearances. That said, they should be going for $10, $12 tops.
