It's all about the music. Their last album, released in 2023, was among their best. You should give it a listen. The pleasantly surprising thing about Blur is that they're still here. Enjoy it.
"Seen worse" is never good, your body language and facial expressions Mr MK tell me all I need to know, "a chore rather than a pleasure" is what I'm getting.
I just watched it and thought it was so interesting to see the background to what was one of the most memorable comebacks last year for the band! I was at Wembley last year and it was my first concert of Blur’s, followed by the second concert only a few weeks later in Hammersmith of the new album. I think your review is very harsh imo. there is a lot of interesting information and background of the band and what they have been through that I never knew. Damon was in dark place after his relationship of ended and he found himself alone in a farm house and I think it’s beautiful the story picks up from when the band get together to start practice and the contrasts to when they started as kids way back when. I guess documentaries celebrating a massive comeback last year with a new credible album from the band ( no many 90s bands doing new stuff that sells) does not hit the high bar anymore! I love it and can’t wait to see the full Wembley concert again!
@@NaomiC247 Yes, exactly. I liked Blur and went to see them many times in concert and I will watch and probably enjoy this doc. Some of my mates who didn't like the group won't even know it exists, and wouldn't watch 5 mins of it if they did.

Oasis never took themselves seriously, good melodic tunes and some great performances. Nothing to get your teeth stuck into but some real classic universal pop rock stuff there. Some bizarrely negative comments about Blur as a band. Like them or not as people, the music is wonderful.

Found out recently the late Grant Page was in their M.O.R. video. A more interesting fellow than the four geezers in this band combined.
The Rutles is fine as is Spinal tap .
gang of four!
Only thing that could be as boring as this would be a documentary on the hissy fits between the Gallagher brothers.
They're musicians, not actors for a reason. Even the name of the band screams occasionally interesting but quite plain overall.
People who don't like blurs music also don't like films about blur . Wow
The Spinal Tap dialogue was a parody of Robbie Robertson's coke-enhanced waffle in 'The Last Waltz'.

They were a bit before my time but I always feel like the best thing about Blur is that it always leads to someone playing some Oasis.
Blur are infinitely better than Oasis. The first 2 Oasis albums were good but after that they got terribly repetitive and boring
