I cannot tell if he's being desperately sincere or outright manipulative.
Confused and desperate, at this point. Once the satanists show up at the Murder House to tell him who and what he is, fill him in on his powers and his divine purpose, that's when he becomes full on evil and embraces his destiny. He then eats the sacrificial heart at the Black Mass, accepts satan as his true father, and becomes immortal. At this point, he's still like, I'm playing video games...wtf, this dude chanting strange words is making my ears burn! ? ... I love my grandma...wtf, I'm choking my grandma?! My grandma loves me...wtf, she's really telling me to get the hell out?!...Guess I'm choking grandma AGAIN, wtf?!...

I feel like Constance shows character development here and later when she lets Michael die. She spent years excusing Tate’s actions, but she had finally had enough. She knew at this point she should be terrified of her grandson and not enable his behavior any longer. She went about it wrong (though I wouldn’t know the right way to handle the anti christ), but it felt so good to see her finally get smarter.
I love Jessica but this scene broke my heart a thousand times.

Well, unlike Tate, Michael literally kept killing and bringing the corpses into the house for years. Tate committed murderous atrocities all in one day, without Constance knowing about it until those cops arrived.

We all love her character,but let's face it she wasn't exactly good at parenting
Sofia.F Lol Of course, she wasn’t good at parenting. I admired her ability to love every child regardless of their afflictions or deformities, but she wasn’t the best mother. That aside, though, what could she have done? She was afraid that Michael was going to kill her if she corrected him and let him carry on hoping it “was just a phase”. Remember the reason why she committed suicide?
Again, she's just owning the charachter, the scene, the series, the entire show... from A to Z. Flowing through it all, like a swan, so graciously.
I like how this dress she's wearing is similar (coincidence or not ?) to the one she wore the first time we saw her in Murder house, in the scene where she introduced herself to Vivien :)
Cody Fern was also excellent as Michael Langdon, I wish they had more scenes together.
He is such a brilliant actor. He got the mannerisms of an innocent confused and sad child so well and my hear broke during this scene
Jessica Lange definitely reminded us of what separates her from the rest of the cast in this season of AHS. The scenes she was in felt like they actually had meaning, simply because she actually puts in effort to make each scene she’s in have meaning. This scene for example, SHE ACTUALLY TALKS TO MICHAEL LIKE HE IS A REAL EVIL FORCE OF NATURE. Everyone else talked to him like he was just some kid EVEN AFTER THEY KNEW WHO HE WAS. Everyone else is there just throw meaningless, lazy, and stupidly written one-liners. This exactly why the show went way downhill after she left.

I feel bad for Micheal. This was all Satan's fault. He was part demon but part human too, he never had a chance to be a good person, everyone pushed him away or tried to kill him. He was confused and misguided. I'm not defending what he did but he didn't deserve any of this.
All the young actors as Cody to be face to face with such great actress as Jessica Lange, is the best for them, to learn from her, the intensity of acting.👏👏👏👏👏

Iconic scene .
I don’t think this is the direction they first intended for the character of Constance to become. In the first season’s finale she was clearly more amazed and excited when she saw Michael, still an infant just downright murdered the nanny. I think the show creator’s intention was that Constance is just as twisted in the mind as her own son, and it felt like she’s gonna raise Mikey to be the anti-Christ he meant to be. But here she’s so remorseful, so scared, so emotional and it doesn’t feel like the twisted Constance I had known in season 1.
She can do the best classy southern accent…. Beautiful woman. When I think of Eve I think of her..

As of right now there is no official release date, however speculation concludes it will come to Netflix in either September or October, corresponding with the release of the newest season (as it has for all prior seasons)
I will be on hulu September 24. I don't know about the date for Netflix.

I stopped watching the show at Coven, I saw the odd episode of Hotel and Roanoke and am watching all of 1984.
How far this show has fallen, I rewatched the first season this past week and then skipped to 'Return to Murder House' and OMG is it bad, the writing, the music, the characters are parodies of themselves only certain performances saved that episode otherwise it was nostalgic but awful next to the original.
Why does no one talk about the fact that this scene didn’t take place in the original time line at all?
The first time, Constance just looked all distraught and walked away after seeing what Michael did, she didn’t come storming into his room and kick him out. Sure she may have turned around and came back, but then why didn’t they show it that way?
I just don’t get why this changed in the new timeline, other than it being an easy set up for Mallory to hit Michael with the car. This was still a great scene though don’t get me wrong, mostly because of both Jessica and Cody’s phenomenal acting. But I don’t know...this whole season was just full of continuity errors, and that makes it a bit hard to take seriously imo🤷🏼♀️
MeowKels I think Mallory traveling back in time, and her knowing how the world was going to be destroyed, modified the timeline enough for Constance to throw Michael out (unlike her action in the original timeline). Via The Butterfly Effect, Mallory’s slight changes in the past allowed for bigger changes in the flow of time.
Constance probably lied to make herself look more like a victim. It's incredibly irresponsible to let a deranged murderer out on the streets (as well as making someone who is a child in a grown man's body go homeless), so she conveniently left out that part of the story to seem like she was the innocent, victimised grandma (which she partly was, but she's still a horrible person overall)
Finally a season that was "Great" and not just "Good"
