My father worked at Lake Short mines in the 40s 50s, I went to St. Jerome catholic school then the mines closed and we moved to Bancroft, dad worked at Faraday uranium mines .. they had built homes for the miners, we lived on Faraday Heights and Ob Bow lake., I missed Kirkland Lake.
