I got a buddy of mine who had a yz250f and the bike won’t kick. You can jump start the bike and it’ll run. But the bike idk won’t kick. You have any idea why that might be? We replaced the spark plugs and the bike has good compression. Maybe it needs a valve adjustment? Top end? Lmk your thoughts if you have the time

I crushed my leg the same way your boy did it was called a pylon fracture and my doctor said it's the worst kind you can get it took me 4 months to get on my feet again I hope he has a quick recovery

Likely valve adjustment! Assuming it used to kick and run fine at the elevation you’re at. Could also need carb cleaning or tuning.
Yep used to kick and run fine. It’s a fuel injected bike. 2018 I think.

I was still running the 13/49 for this trip. I haven't yet ridden the bike with the updated gearing!

Yeah dude, some of the riding in AZ is no joke! Rocky, steep and rutted on lots of those trails out there! SUPER fun stuff though!
