    This is just a test for the new Tetri Dildo ppfilter (good luck finding it on a google research).
    Gonna be daylight-only, but i think it looks promising for a noon ppfilter. Let me know if you guys like it, i'll upload it by the end of the week.
    Still, improved neckFX setting for the Lotus 49 (less moves on the gear shifts, better horizon lock, bumps are a bit quieter) : acstuff.ru/s/kScZ0E

      2:23 is a photorealistic depiction of what a driver in this era would face. RF in the grass, not a big issue but if you don’t solve it in the next 100 yards you’re in a barn, and if you tug the wheel too hard you’re in a barn. Just death casually sauntering up and giving you a lil smooch on the cheek, try not to think about it too hard for the rest of the race

      It wasn't as high as that, it was less than half. Of the drivers who entered qualifying of the real life version of this race, 1966 Spa, 7 died in racing accidents at some point and 12 survived into retirement or died from different reasons (or are still around). A handful of those 7 who were killed didn't die until the 1970s.
      It's still a lot, far too many, but not as high as 2/3

    • @TCR_PILOT
      @TCR_PILOT 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@Adam-qi7no well Sir Jackie Stewart counted with his wife that many died during his period of racing. He that stated figure. Watch Grand Prix the killer years. He states it in that documentary. He drove then and campaigned for better safety. But for the record I wasn't saying it was at Spa but in racing as general. Many drivers back then raced in more than one formula. F1, F2 touring cars etc

    Guys, this looks brilliant, can anybody answer a question for me? Are these games fully designed for a Steering Wheel? I have a PS4 and have bought (downloaded) an Assetto game but I'm using a standard PS controller, the throttle is L2 (shit) the brake is R2 (shit) the steering is so sensitive the in car hands/arms turn at an amazing speed the vehicle is almost uncontrollable. Normal PS games Throttle and Steering work of R/L3 with gear changes R/L2, how do I get to Gran Tourismo controller style? I haven't played it since the first time after purchase and its been a complete waste of money as I dont intend to buy a steering wheel. Any help is really appreciated.. Thanks.

      Yeah, about that mate... The FOV in those early footages were very low, as those were the first onboard footages, i think using panavision 65mm. If you're thinking of the 1966 "Grand Prix" movie, then there's your clue for speed rendition.
      Put a first price gopro on those bathtubs back in the day and you wouldn't believe how fast they were going.
      So, not saying my rendition is realistic as it's just a cool video game footage, but definitly closer to what you would encounter than what was possible to render in the 60s.
