- Chrono Odyssey (PS5) 4K 60FPS HDR (Gameplay Trailer). Welcome to the official Twitter for Chrono Odyssey, open-world MMORPG (PC&Console). Chrono Odyssey is an upcoming Next-Gen Fantasy MMORPG planned for PC, Consoles, and Mobile by South Korean studio NPIXEL. Chrono Odyssey was slated to go into testing in 2021, with a release sometime in 2023. However, no further news or details have been shared by NPIXEL. A teaser trailer showcasing official gameplay was released on May 3, 2023, but no release date was given. It is likely that Chrono Odyssey will launch in 2024.
Players will explore the world of Setera, utilizing a powerful artifact to alter time called the Chronotector. At first glance, Setera may appear as a peaceful, beautiful land filled with nature. However, Setera is also now the frontlines of the war against the Void, which has been ongoing since the beginning of time. This land is filled with the dangers and chaos caused by twisted time and space and contradicting timelines. These same dangers provide countless mysteries and opportunities not afforded to any other world. Uncover the secrets behind Setera's timeline and find a way to save everyone - including yourself. The Chronotector is a powerful artifact said to have been created by a mysterious ancient civilization known only as “The Great Ones.” It holds the power to warp and manipulate space-time to the holder’s will. Though it has lost much of its original strength, it is still capable of twisting time and space to create effects irreplicable by even the world’s most powerful magic.

I'm not familiar myself with mmorpg... Is this something you purchase and then have to purchase a membership in order to play it on line with others. In other words you really never own it. You have to pay a monthly fee in order to play it. Is this what mmorpg is? Much appreciated just an old gamer at 65 years old trying to gain some understanding... Thanks!
Most of current mmorpgs do not require you to buy monthly membership.

The monetization about mmos is usually you have to pay to get stronger more quickly than others then access to certain content like costumes and stuff that f2p players won't get
Because you are getting stronger faster than others then at any given time you'll always be stronger than an f2p player when they reach your level you will be stronger than them which makes it p2w as in combat you will always have a huge advantage over players than don't pay for stuff

Thank you, much appreciated. The game looks amazing, but most likely, I'll be passing on it if I have to pay to win. Being retired, I'm on a fixed income. As expensive as it is to just pay for the necessities of daily living can't see paying a monthly fee just to play a game. The Playstation membership cost increase last year makes it hard enough.

it feels like all attack keep u grounded to the same place, out of the few that got movement attached to a skill ... hope to be wrong on this one
Thats probably depend on class/weapon and skill because archer's basic attacks can be used while moving in video such as warriors meele basic attacks he moves forward a bit but besides these there will be probably skills/auto attacks which makes you stay in same place, but yet we know game will be action combat
People who are complaining about this being an MMO have no fear, Kakao Games is also releasing Crimson Desert which is a single-player game. In any case Kakao created another MMO called Black Desert Online which is an incredible experience with too much goodness to get into right now. It's a massive game with complex, dynamic, fluid and beautifully crafted combat. I spent 7 years playing that game and I will spend another 7 playing this one I'm sure.

It’s unreal engine anyway . All they do is reuse assets 3 different dragons they just changed the color and elemental effect 💀. Don’t get me started on Lies Of P and Wukong reuse over reuse . Also God Of Covid. Sand snow flip is atrocious
