I lived in Santa Cruz for 7 years back in the early 90s, It was a differnt town than nowdays. I did not see the Catalyst. Very nostalgic for me and many good memories.

This very place is my favorite. I lived in downtown SC for 8 month in 2007.
There used to be a Mexican restaurant (Taqueria vallarta) where Five guys store is now. 3:09

@@WishfulWalkingVideos The last time I went back to visit was 2015, downtown looked different, many new businesses, but some iconic places still there, like the blue lagoon, the catalyst, Starbucks, New Leaf, and the board walk. I missed Santa Cruz a lot, the people are nice, the beaches are beautiful, the redwood trees in Felton area are just breath taking, and of course UCSC.

I know what you're saying. We lived in Santa Cruz County in the beautiful San Lorenzo Valley in the '50s and '60s. Grew up, met and married there. But Marxism isn't for us. In '98 we moved to the beautiful Bitterroot Valley in western Montana. No comparison to the quality of people and their politics. Good solid, patriotic and respectful folks here. People say Hi, smile or nod in the parking lot or on the sidewalk. Even kids. That blew me away.
