Nope, it isnt minifig scale. Yes you can fit in a minifig, but further more, the proportions are way too big, to be suited for minifigs. The last UCS Y-Wing went way over the top with the design, by making the inside of the cockpit minifig scale, but the whole ship was way bigger. For this set, it is nice you can put a minifig in it, without making it look weird, but it isnt ment for it. But then again: it is lego, so feel free to do whatever you like to do.
How is this not minifig scale. This would be how big the Tie would be irl if a human was to stand next to it or in it.. looks and feels minifig scale to me especially after i built it
@@PuppetMaster-Blade The Tie vehicles are pretty small compared to other things. The Tie Interceptor is 7.7m long according to the info on the plaque. Which means a minifig scale model would be 20cm long max. The "Playscale" models are actually minifig scale. This is bigger for the sake of detail (Im not complaining the model is gorgeous, just not minifig scale.)
The playscale one is minifig scale. The Tie vehicles are pretty small. (If you want to do it yourself its a 42.5:1 ratio. Just divide vehicle dimensions by 42.5 and you get minifig scale.)
The UCS TIE Interceptor is definitely not minifigure scale, but I do think that LEGO sometimes downsizes the cockpit so that it looks better with a minifigure in it.
Always felt the TIE interceptor should of been the TIE fighter norm and hexagon winged ones variants, TIE silencer and the Fury-class Imperial interceptor are the coolest looking TIE interceptors
The Nien Nunb figure is coming soonish I believe or at least it will exist soon. On the LEGO Star Wars Art Print May 2024 by Artist Joe Hogan you see him on there. So get ready for a display spot =D
The tie interceptor seem sturdy if I compared it to the UCS Darth Vader tie x1 I always have the feeling that the wing will drop if I look at it too long. Definitely a set I might add in my collection
The Darth Face 😂
Lovely. GREAT WORK DANI!
thank youuu

I wonder if a star wars 3 3/4 inches fit in the cockpit

Looks Awesome - can't wait to get my hands on one next month
3:26 not unless the falcon pulls up and blows the tie interceptor into pieces before the pilot can fire
