Good morning, thank you for making the very informative video. I'm not clear on one step, can the white fx/aux 2 knob handle both functions at the same time? Let me explain: if there are monitors connected to the aux2 output on stage and I operate the white knob, do I raise/lower the channel signal or increase/decrease the effect? I understood that I can only route the effect to the aux1 output. I hope I have explained myself clearly and thank you in advance for your reply.
Hi, i noticed my yamaha mg12xuf has a very loud output compared to my other mixers. I tend to put the gain and fader volume so low. Is that normal? Doni have a deffeftive mixer? Thanks!
yes you can hook direct usb i prefer not to use the usb never had good luck with built in usb so i just us an audio interface with it and this way i get alot more imput signal to the computer but you can do it with just the built in just fine
On this mixer or the regular MG12, if the mixer power is cut, does it "come back" to the original channel on/off settings? Would like to use this in a church where the master power to an A/V system is the only control the church folks want to use! Thanks.
nope you need a really higher mixer for that sort of thing cheaper mixers allow 1 efect only and once you hit a few grind you get 2 options at once and if you need more then that you will need o n either cheap or expensive ones a seperate effects controller for each channel not worth the cost thats for sure.
yes sound craft sucks that bad i used to be on the foums when i had mine and nothing but problems and problems and more problems with all of them, tho when they were not screwing up they worked great but to many break downs .. so iam sticking with my yamaha stuff my self and we yes a really nice yamaha 32 channel in our chuch and its sweet and never a day of problems with it and we have had that one for about 5 years now in the church works great

Couldnt you use the usb in (channel 11/12) for house music from an iPhone or iPad?
perhaps with and old iphone or old ipad but all the new stuff nope no more headphone jacks man bluetooth. only and these mixers dont have bluetooth

i have never used the USB output so cany help you how ever you can lower your faders so you can raise the main out

where ever you last left your settings they will remain the same yes
