Thanks Ali and Don, never fished like you describe but I'm a believer I've joined spoonpluggers of America and can't wait until I can get back on the water
That single dislike proves there's one in every crowd. Why every one of these I've watched, with in ten minutes I've had a limit ha!!! Thanks again Don, you can't hide the excitement and the humility you have towards Buck,
Thanks again Don! Having just completed my first season of Spoonplugging. What an absolute thrill it has been to put Bucks discipline and practices to work. Both the Green book and Home study course have just totally changed my fishing for the good. From catching my 1st Muskie, 18 in total, along with luncker Bass and monster Northern's. Oh what year! Fishing here in Michigan from April 1st thru Thanksgiving. Your Blog is the high light of the week. Thanks again for all your efforts. My you and yours have a Blessed Christmas season!
Don, what makes a good Trolling Rod? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Most of what I use are casting rods, 7 feet long with longer handles, than what you are holding here. Thanks again for the great videos!!
We have man-made structures ( railroad grade, bridges and roadbeds) in our mountain lakes in east Tennessee but they're 150-180ft deep. Doesn't help me. But I do like these videos.
Don, I have watched every video that you have put up here and have read Buck's Green Book twice. I have a question on equipment. When Buck developed NoBo monofilament line, it was to allow the Spoonplugger to have a more sensitive link to the baits and allow better feel of the structure that they were making contact with. In the years that followed, many fishing line manufacturers have developed several varieties of braided Superlines that have very small diameters and practically no stretch. Are these lines a good choice for the trolling Spoonplugger? Is it necessary to use a leader with the braided lines or can they be tied directly to a snap? Thank you for your thoughts.
I watch a fair amount of fishing vids Don. EliasV does a ocean kayak (cringe) fishing channel and made the same comment a few weeks ago. I believe that northern viewers are out in their ice shacks and the viewers where the water is not hard are deer/bird/rabbit hunting and will not think of fishing till late winter. YEHAA from East Ky
Thanks Don another good presentation, you and your wife have carried the torch, thanks for sharing Bucks teachings.
